Beautiful space in a lovely part of the world. Walkable to the coastline and the hot tub is a great touch.

We loved the Owls, we had an amazing stay. Very easy to find, lovely peaceful location. Beautiful settings and extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. The hot tub was amazing, stayed super hot all night, matched with the blackness of night. Luckily we had a clear sky and was amazing to see all the stars. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Ben & Katheryn were very hospitable, even leaving us a bottle of champagne for valentine’s. Very nice touch and was a pleasure to meet you ! I have no doubt we will be back !

We had a great stay at Miranda’s cottage. The bedrooms were so cosy, bathrooms spacious and spotless and the view from the kitchen was breathtaking. The children loved the garden, hot tub and the bunkbed room. The location was wonderful with lovely walks from the door and easy access the the rest of Dartmoor. We would very happily stay again!

This cottage is not just beautiful but also very welcominng and cosy, there is everything your family needs to make your stay comfortable. We loved the hot tub, down stairs shower room , coffee machine ( thank you for the very generous amount of pods included) , very secure outside courtyard which was escape proof for our dog 🐕 and the use of the washing machine and dryer 😀 We took advantage of the The Ley Arms pub which is just 1 min walk away - the food was outstanding and the portions where huge ( definitely a winner 🏆) . We will definitely be bookjng again in the future, thank yoh for having us 🙏

We had such a lovely time staying at Claire & Marks cottage. It is in an absolutely breath taking location with many beautiful walks right on the doorstep. The cottage itself is stunning and was spotlessly clean throughout. It felt like home from home with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The pictures really do not do this place justice! Claire went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special and we can’t thank you enough. Perfect home and a perfect place to stay! Thank you xx

Beautiful and peaceful location, with great local walks. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Loved sitting in the wood fired hot tub listening to the owls in the evenings. Louise and Andrew were great hosts and provided lots of little touches including leaving us some local eggs and milk and lighting the hot tub fire for us when we were out for a days walking. Definitely recommended.

Lovely week stay at Mill Cross House! Beautiful place, such picturesque views. The cottage was well maintained and very stylish. Very friendly and informative hosts. Reply very quickly, happy to help and offer suggestions. Lovely local pub just a 5 minute walk, delicious food and drink. So pretty as well! Fantastic location, very easy to get to any beach, country walk, boutique shops and nearby town or city. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay; really lovely cottage which was extremely thoughtfully equipped . The cottage has lots of character and we particularly enjoyed the log burner at the end of our days of exploring ! Gill was very flexible with our check in and out times and very easily contactable and helpful. Great to have The Wild Goose Inn within a minutes walk; very welcoming and serving excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet village off the beaten track and Gill even supplied sunshine; we couldnt have asked for more. Thankyou .

This cottage is an absolute gem! Really cosy and comfortable, with stunning views across the bay. For us it was the perfect base for meeting up with family in Plymouth. Everything was pristine and as photographed in the details, and communicating with William was a dream.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

A really lovely cottage had everything we needed for 6 people and in a great location

Wonderful seaside home beautifully equipped, as soon as we all walked in we decided we could live there! Even lovely toys for my granddaughter to play with. Topped off by a sunny terrace with sea views!

Jasmine Cottage was a wonderful little place to stay. Despite being a very old property the renovations have been tastefully carried out and it retained all the original charm with modern day convenience. I liked that it has its own self contained garden which was perfect for my dog. I especially loved the living room with its cosy wood burner and comfortable sofa. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything that I needed and I enjoyed cooking in it. The cottage was warm throughout my stay even without the wood burner going. There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was always warm. Upstairs both bedrooms were lovely and the room I stayed in had a very comfortable bed and again was warm and cosy. The location is very rural and quiet which was exactly what I was hoping for. I had a wander around the village and visited the very pretty church. People I met were friendly. The purpose of my trip was for complete rest and relaxation and that’s exactly what I got.

The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything that you would ever need. Best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time! Jenni was really helpful during our stay here, gave us lots of recommendations of what to do while staying in Whimple.

This accommodation is tasteful, immaculate and perfect for a quiet time away. Tina was helpful and responsive and check-in was easy. The attention to detail was wonderful and there was a Christmas tree - really festive! Jasmine Cottage is one of a group of cottages and would be perfect for larger groups of family/friends. We were only there for one night but wished that we could have stayed longer.

The cottage is very cute all you would expect from a 16th century farm workers cottage, it warmed up really quickly, the neighbors were really lovely, perfect for the dogs, with separate garden, need to be able bodied as there's steps to garden and a small walk to parking, the cottage is well equipped with great views as on an elevated position . Jump in the car there are some great walks near by in the forrest and Woodbury is one of the area's that has great walks, one downside perfect for me being 5 foot but my partner did bang his head on the main beam running through the house more than once, but people were smaller in the days when these were built so we hung a bag on the beam to remind him and that worked. all in all a good place to stay.

Stayed in many Airbnb's but this is my favourite to date. The perfect Devon cottage and my dream home, was desperately sad to leave and go back to reality. everything was clean and well presented, perfect location. Will hopefully visit again.

Frank is very deserving of the Super-host moniker. He is an absolutely fantastic gentleman, who goes out of his way to make all his guests feel welcome, he is very quick to respond to messages and very accommodating and welcoming. The cottage is fitted out to a very high standard, with a feeling of luxury in every room. The views are absolutely amazing. It is a very quiet area to stay, in fact it is the quietest area I have ever stayed in. There is plenty to do around the cottage for those rainy days when you don't want to get out. It's a beautiful area, the small village is about a mile away, apart from that, it is pure farmland as far as the eye can see. If you are after a quiet, scenic holiday with a fabulous host, you cannot go wrong with The Views. A big thanks to Frank for all the hospitality he extended to myself and my family.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

In one word, heavenly. A Family or small group trip to explore anywhere around Devon, this is definitely a place for you —at a good bargain as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Modern house with state of the art facilities, wash rooms were great, large island kitchen with a befitting diner stood out for us. All beds and beddings were so so comfortable. Simply felt like home. Hosts Robert and Jane were great with communication so we didn’t need to call the host at any point as everything was as described. They also recommended places around, some of which were 100% for us. We would recommend a trip to Salcombe obviously as it’s a 20+ mins drive, explore the beautiful town, trip to north & south sands via the ferry and enjoy the lovely oceanic view. Highly recommend a visit to Crab Shell inn in Kingsbridge, don’t miss a trip to Torquay Marina, about 40mins drive from Goveton. Need to add that the roads to the village are narrow but in all, great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Eleanor’s cottage. The location is great, really close to the centre of Totness with quick access to great beaches and stunning countryside. Eleanor has some great recommendations in her welcome folder, particular faves were the independent cinema, Indian restaurant and Man beach. The house is well decorated and furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to visit again

We loved our stay at Victoria’s place. She was very flexible & understanding when our plans changed unexpectedly - even offering us extra time at the cottage if we needed it. We couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host. The cottage is lovely, so cosy and homely, especially in the cold winter weather. Everything is clean and neat, and feels very new. Everything we needed was provided, and more - some delightful treats were left for us and we felt thoroughly spoilt.

The Perfect Getaway! We were in the area to attend a retreat and explore Devon. The Cider Barn was a lovely place to stay and ideally located. Plus our hosts were extremely accommodating - highly recommended.
