Large downstairs apartment, had everything you could ask for. Close enough to walk to the center, and La Tora. Well worth the price, would recommend and return for short or longer stays.

Diego and Manuel were very responsive and helpful threw out my stay . The place had its little issues here and there but nothing Diego and Manuel can’t fix . Worth the stay.

Carlos is an extremely friendly and responsive host who lives on the property in a separate fully contained unit. His motto," Mi casa es tu casa" is evident in all the interactions. He provides eggs from his 14 chickens to start your day. The main house that you stay in has two bedrooms with queen size beds that are comfortable. There are two lofts with steep ladders that could accommodate more but we did not use. There is another attached unit with a queen sized bed and kitchen but we did not use them. The kitchen has all the utensils you need but could be organized a little better as it feels a little cluttered. There is a water filtration system in the house for your drinking water. We had ample hot water for showers but not in the sink in the bathroom. The area feels very safe and for Pana is relatively quiet except for occasional barking dogs. The house has a lovely garden that Carlos takes a lot of pride in and is frequently watering. Overall, it provides a good value..

We chose to stay at Fabio and Andrea’s place because of the outstanding reviews, and they were absolutely right. The house is stunning—words don’t do it justice. We ended up staying in the entire time and didn’t want to leave. The hike up is no joke—it’s tough, just as the listing describes—but the porters (aka the super helpful boys) make it so much easier. We couldn’t have done it without them, as they carried our bags all the way up. It was around 30Q each, which is absolutely worth it—just make sure to have some cash on hand. Once we arrived, we quickly realized we weren’t going anywhere, but we hadn’t brought any food. Thankfully, they’ve thought of everything. If you order the day before, Veronica will come and cook the most incredible meals right in your kitchen. We had her cook for us both nights, and the food was absolutely delicious—it made us feel truly spoiled. If you can, don’t just stay for one night—book at least two! You won’t regret it.

Christopher is a great host, always available and actively communicating. Our family had very nice time in the amazing private house with the lakeview and friendly staff who were very helpful. The house was clean and fully equipped with kitchen utensils as well as materials for firepit (prepared when we asked). The pool was big and clean, and was warm to our demand. We also had free Wifi, a large livingroom TV, and good speakers. Also all the bathrooms had bidet.

Augustus is an awesome host! I got sick on the trip and he brought up ginger tea and immunity elixir for me to take. He was very helpful with any questions we had. Super easy going and friendly. The views are amazing. We loved sitting out on the rocking chairs, day and night, just taking in the magical lake. I hope to come back soon!

SUPER RECOMENDADO!! Sus anfitriones siempre dieron lo mejor y cuentan con amenidades qué otros alojamientos no ofrecen. Sector muy tranquilo, accesible a centro comercial y céntrico para partir a cualquier punto. De lo mejor!!!

Excelente lugar, San Marcos la laguna es asombroso, el parqueo costo 14 dolares por día, o unos 100 quetzales por noche que se queda el vehículo con techo, nos parqueamos donde don Salva, esta cerca de la playa pública y la reserva natural es hermosa, definitivamente volveremos. El lugar es muy lindo y bello. Casi no se escucha ruido de construcción.

Cleanliness is very important to me and the apartment was very clean and tidy. There were four of us and we all had enough space. The location is great: quiet side street and a 10-minute walk from all the popular places. We were told beforehand that it is normal for insects to come into the house. We also found scorpions and a spider in the evening. But we were aware of that. I can highly recommend the apartment!
