Staying at Yoshi's place, you will have a very comfortable stay, but you will also be treated to a real host--like the way that Airbnb used to be. Yoshi will make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your time at his home, but he will also make sure that you have a good experience visiting Omishima island in general. The house itself is great. You have your own, large space for sleeping, cooking light meals, relaxing, or working. The outdoor area overlooking the sea is pretty magical in the mornings and at sunset. If you're coming here to unwind, then you've found the right place. Yoshi is also a great person to talk with as he is passionate about a variety of subjects. Hopefully, you'll take some time to get to know him during your stay, and perhaps share a meal. As there is not a lot of food options nearby, you may want to ask Yoshi to help you acquire some things to eat before you arrive. There's a great restaurant a few mins walk away, but most are a little drive away.

価格帯、ロケーションと素泊まりにはちょうど良いです。近くにスーパーや、美味しい居酒屋「いなかもん」さんもあります。また少し距離はありますが、温泉「満天の湯」もあります。夜はとても静かでした。

Magnifique maison traditionnelle en bois très propre et bien décorée. Possibilité de garer la voiture à deux pas. Quartier calme et typique. Nous avons très bien dormi sur les futons. Merci pour l’expérience !

Saiko was super friendly and communicated well. She was responsive to all my inquiries and messages and very accommodating for us. The place was neat, spacious and comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

This stay was such a delight. We were picked up by a taxi from the station and given such incredible treatment and hospitality throughout the entire accommodation. We arrived to find a fresh pot of rice cooked for us from the local garden, as well as enough seaweed and eggs to put a nice breakfast together. We even forgot a few items at the house and they went out of their way to ship it back to us in 1 day at no extra cost. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and sweet. 10/10 host and staff, we loved Uehara san, and Higashihiroshima is a really beautiful place. I’d love to come and stay again. Absolutely recommend.
