Could not fault the place ! Such a beautiful house , finished to a great standard and absolutely spotless ! Definitely would stay again 100% The only downside and I knew this before booking was the early checkout ! As you can’t check in until 1600hrs we believe you should be allowed to check out at the earliest 1100hrs ! However didn’t affect our stay and a beautiful place . Many thanks .

Lovely and peaceful place to stay. A group of us stayed for my hen do and had the best time! In such a beautiful area and a bonus that there’s a great Chinese 2 minutes down the road!! There’s friendly alpacas and sheep in the field next to the property, it’s beautiful on a sunny morning drinking your coffee!

Amazing! Such a wonderful peaceful retreat. We loved it so much we have rebooked the Yurt for later in the year.

We had a wonderful stay. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable house. The only drawback was the difficulty for house guests trying to get in and out of the one road leading directly to the Farmhouse, this appeared to be due to cars being parked on the roadside as the (walker's/hiker's carpark) was very busy and full.

We all loved the Shearing Shed. Tucked away in the bottom of the valley, it is a clean, cosy, comfortable house set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views from sitting room, bedrooms and garden. The ground floor was wonderfully light and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was lots of comfortable seating for both sitting and dining. Learning about alpaca farming and meeting the alpacas was an unexpected added bonus! I would highly recommend as a quiet, peaceful retreat with lots of walks direct from the house and with easy access to Buxton.

Me and my sister had such a lovely time! So peaceful and such a well thought-out accomodation with everything you need and more. We will definitely be back again. Dot was the best host☺️💓

Our visit was to enable us to walk and the location was ideal. We didnt touch the cars at all. Listening to owls at night and seeing the alpacas in the morning made these city slickers day. We'll definitely want to book again. Thank you

We had a great time in Lynsey’s ‘Little Barn’. It was both quirky and cosy and our kids were really excited about the mezzanine bedrooms and the table football. The barn’s in a stunning location and it was very quiet and peaceful. Lynsey was a responsive host but also respected our privacy. We would highly recommend it!

Mike and the apartment where great ! felt right at home with everything there you could need for children pets and ourselves. Breakfast was an awesome touch with again everything you would need. Liiterally has everything travels would need. Beautiful property inside amd out. Many thanks guys amd we would absolutely stay with you again 🙂🙂🙂

Jane communicated all we needed to know. Getting in to the property was easy. lovely bungalow, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Local walks were fantastic, would definitely book again

Terry was very helpful and responsive. The Forge is very quaint, its clean but not pristine (decor is aging) but homely and comfortable. My parents found it a little difficult as the sofas are very low., and the downstairs bedroom option is only a sofa bed so wasn't suitable for them as I had hoped. But there was room for everyone and it was lovely and warm. Kitchen well stocked for Christmas cooking, although there are no numbers left on the cooker dials so that was a bit of guess work. The parking was a bit irritating as only one space at the cottage so loading and unloading of multiple cars was messy. Chinley is a fantastic location with lovely views, ample shops and pubs for all the basics and a nature reserve where you can let the dogs off lead. A great place for large families to come together to cook and eat together, various comfort levels for the beds which were basic, bathroom facilities very basic/dated. This large house was a Christmas Blessing to our family

We had a lovely weekend at Swallows Nest, the property is really spacious and set on 3 levels. My eldest son joined us from Manchester and we were able to watch the moon raking festival which was really pretty and great fun. Thanks for a lovely time, would really recommend

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay this time as much as the last. Place is spacious and well kept. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend this place for anyone that needs space and a nice place to relax. I would stay here again in a minute.

Beautiful little cottage, we sat relaxing on the sofa and watched three deer on the land behind. Felt really peaceful and had everything we needed

Lovely cozy place to stay with beautiful rural surroundings. Scenic walks directly out the door and well situated for local attractions. A very peaceful and private place to stay with everything you can expect from a quality holiday cottage. Linda is a very kind and considerate host and not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend The Chicken Barn.

Donna was very welcome and helpful with providing access to our stay as without instructions i would have been lost!! The place was really nice and exactly what we were hoping for with a nice view of local farm animals which is always a plus. Would definitely return

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment — beautiful interior and lovely scenery. The balcony is perfect for sitting and watching the city with stunning views as well as being very private. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was super comfy and clean! Perfect location for Piccadilly, northern quarter and arndale centre with lots of shops and bars and restaurants nearby. Warren was very friendly and helpful and offered plenty of recommendations for eating and drinking. 5 stars would definitely stay again!

I stayed with my mum and friends in the Airbnb for around one week. It is stylish, clean and comfortable. It is in a convenient location with lots of restaurants. Andy and Paula are great hosts. I once had some problem with opening the main door lock. Andy was responsive and called me directly and gave me clear instructions to help. I really have an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place to others.

Steven was so friendly and accommodating. He allowed to check out a little later so I didn’t need to get to the train station too early. The night I arrived, he even offered to join him and his family for an outing in the event that my friend would be not available to see me as it was a school night and he had to work the next day. So all in all, he really went out of his way to make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrived. The accommodation had EVERYTHING you might need. Just one example, I’d forgotten my shower gel and shampoo - but no worries, there was some there available! You also had different refuse bags available in case you wanted to separate your food waste from the rest. The wifi worked perfectly throughout the property. You are only a 5-10 min walk away from all the best that Chorlton-cum-Hardy has to offer, and to the local tram stop which takes you the centre of Manchester in 10 minutes, as well as Didsbury, Victoria station, and Manchester airport.
