Beautiful cottage and location, great local recommendations by host. Fantastic attention to detail - from lighting to layout inside and outside the cottage. Hot Tub in the woodland was magical! Many thanks Sarah, we hope to come again one day.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is spacious with plenty of ensuite bathrooms. It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us as a group of friends but would be good for families too. The location is lovely- it is set in a charming area with a shop just a minute away. We loved the fact it is surrounded by picturesque English villages with quaint cafes, restaurants and really gorgeous old pubs with open fires. Lovely rambles on the doorstep too. The house itself was idyllic and spotlessly clean. French doors in the main bedroom and living room open to stunning lake views creating a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching ducks on the lake was magical. Handy for quick access to Manchester and airport and great value for money. The host was helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Such a lovely home with stunning interiors! Jennifer was incredibly welcoming, making our short stay feel special. The bathroom was spot on—immaculately clean and felt perfect for a relaxing spa-like experience. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night due to time constraints, but we'd love to return for a longer visit!

Review: We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Sandbach! The property was incredibly spacious, spotless, and set in stunning surroundings. The highlight was definitely the jacuzzi—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything was well-maintained, and the attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and luxury touches. We would love to return!

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

Fabulous place in the perfect location, easy access, privacy, loads of space. Was immaculate on arrival, lovely and warm and with everything we needed for a short break. Had our 2 dogs with us and its perfect for them.

this place is great, couldn't recommend it highly enough. super easy to check in, really clear instructions. place was spotless, pictures don't do it justice, far bigger than expected, big rooms and bathroom. really quiet location but close to metro and buses. our host was amazing, really friendly, super helpful, we needed an early check in and he could not have helped us more. very close to old Trafford too.

Great apartment. Only downside is collecting and returning keys to a convenience store 3 tram stops away (so it’s not a 5 min walk).

Great stay for the entire 4 weeks stay. The apartment located in high standard new building area called The Assemble, Very high security. Location excellent in the heart of the city, all our needs by walking distance. 15 Minutes to the center, shopping mall, restaurant, coffees, Train station ( Piccadilly) very close. We had Super Host gentlemen MR Niklos was very close to us and respond to our needs & clarification. Future visit to Manchester will be with him.

We had a wonderful stay at Matthew and Rachel’s lovely cottage. It was beautifully presented, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Their hospitality was excellent, and we truly felt at home. If we’re ever in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Great central location for trips to nearby attractions and walking/cycling routes. Only small disadvantage was that the cottage is on a busy road and the main bedroom was very close to the road. Overall the cottage was very clean and had everything you needed for a self catering stay.

Definitely recommend stunning cottage’s beautifully decorated ,we didn’t want to leave so warm and cosy. We look forward to returning. Host was amazing thanks Henry.

This was our second visit to Mill Cottage and we'll be back! We were in Lancashire for the school half-term week to keep an eye on our granddaughters and they had a lovely time. Thank-you so much Alastair for thinking of some extra toys and games to keep them entertained; that was much appreciated. There was plenty to do near Parbold - we visited Cedar Farm where the girls had fun feeding the goats, and we enjoyed the cafe and looking round the arts and crafts. And we caught the train from Parbold to Southport and visited the museum at the Atkinson which had plenty to interest children. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Great place to stay.

Lovely place, a few minutes from stunning countryside. Close to local shops and services but situated on a busy road. Host extremely responsive and helpful.

We planned a little country escape from the city and this was such a peaceful and perfect stay. The house is laid out so homely and being surrounded by the fresh country air was so calming. The bonus animal sounds also added to such a lovely staycation. David was very responsive and introduced himself in person but everything was catered for before he arrived. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little peaceful break.

My friend and I had 3 lovely days at Chew Cottage. It’s in a beautiful area, with local pubs and fabulous walking. The house is quirky and as described. Lovely little garden and house was very cosy. Jeanne was pro-active in responding to a problem with the Tv signal, arranging for the aerial to be repaired the next morning. As an Airbnb host myself, I appreciated the facilities and good communication. Lots of free on street parking nearby I .e. Just across the road.
