Sundog was a fantastic host. Great communication before, during, and after the stay. The cabin was beautiful and everything we wanted for our family Christmas gathering. Highly recommend Sundog and the Havilah Falls house.

The view from the back porch is breaktaking. Private and expansive, really long uninterrupted views. Inside is perfectly put together. The kitchen has every gadget or tool you need to really cook there. They have gone above and beyond with quality of furnishings and amenities. Thank you for letting us stay in your home you obviously love!

Cabin was great for a weekend getaway! Kids loved feeding the fish and the bunk beds. Traveled down to Brevard for the day for groceries and a meal. Even got to see a white squirrel!

This is probably the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. Everything from the scenery to the peace and quiet of being in the woods. Everything was perfect. I usually am skeptical and worry about traveling and where to stay but this place was top tier. The hot tub was our favorite haha. This is a perfect place if you want to be secluded while also being close to the main attractions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our place when we come back!

A well appointed cabin perched in the mountains. It was a wonderful base camp for our family spring break. We loved the location to all the activities we did. We really enjoyed coming back to the cabin after hikes and exploring and enjoying the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast before we headed out and reheat left overs too. If we would have had a few more days we probably would have taken advantage of the grill and cooked a full meal too. The hosts were very responsive and gave us some great suggestions too. We totally recommend it and hope to return.

Loved our stay at Dan and Leslie’s Canton cabin! It was so beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and perfect for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Dan and Leslie were super responsive to any questions I had (both before and during our stay), checkin was a breeze, and the house was spacious and cozy all at the same time. Loved enjoying morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the gorgeous lake. I will definitely come back again in the warmer weather!

Our hope for a venue for a long weekend visit with our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter was well met by the location. We did find the spiral staircase something to be concerned about - following a knee replacement... but it worked out. We found the place to be a charming through back to the great times of the 1960's.

We cannot wait to return! Serena is a wonderful host and quick to answer any questions. The house is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Your first drive up to the house, you may think it’s a bit far up the well-maintained gravel road, but you quickly get used to it. The views from the house are incredible. We saw awe-inspiring sunrises and moonrises on the large deck where we spent a lot of time. It is so very quiet and yet so close to town and many hiking trails in the Pisgah Forest. We had a wonderful time!

The cabin was perfect for our getaway. It’s private, but very conveniently located near downtown Brevard. It was nice coming back in the evening after hitting the breweries and getting into the hot tub!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and the fireplace made it feel extra cozy. We visited in the spring, hoping for a little snow—no luck this time, but we’d gladly come back again! The cabin was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. We also loved exploring Asheville, shopping, and trying some great local restaurants. Plus, the cabin is pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus! We took our pup to Moore Cove and Looking Glass Falls—both were beautiful spots to visit. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful location. Brevard has been my favorite vacation spot for many years and this place was wonderful. Quiet and peaceful, with all the amenities you need for a getaway. Super quick and easy trip to Pisgah or DuPont from the house with Lake Imaging trailhead right down the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Firstly, let me start off with how great of a host Chris was. All the way from before we arrived to the end. He was always communicating back and forth quickly, he helped with recommendations regarding things I wanted to see, and was always kind. Secondly, the little home is beautiful, peaceful, serene. Everything is exactly as described, the outdoors were beautiful. Although we spent a lot of time out and about, it felt comfortable and made us feel right at home when we came back. It’s a small cabin, but packs for much into it. I loved the bar tops out on the deck and indoors. He had charcoal for the grill and even fire wood for the fire pit. We had a great time, even playing a few of the games Chris left in the cabin. Perfect location, private, quiet. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you Chris!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host! This cabin is so beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and private. Words do not do justice to the back deck and the view. It felt like we were in a treehouse! We came during nearby wildfires and planned burns and Marian was so communicative and flexible (and warm and friendly too!). Even with the smoke and the later rain, we had a wonderful time with our toddler and golden retriever. The cabin is secluded yet very close to SO many amazing trails, waterfall, little restaurants, and to downtown Brevard. This place is truly special and we certainly hope to return.

Miss Bee Haven is a wonderful place to spend time. My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and we found the experience to be perfectly suited for us. The surrounding area of Brevard has a beautiful small town atmosphere and the location of Round Mountain is nothing short of magical. The cabin offered a remarkably uninterrupted view of the nature surrounding us. Our stay was early in the year, allowing us to bear witness to the seasons first budding of the trees just outside of the windows. Jenn was a gracious and most knowledgeable host. The tour of her beehives was a true highlight of the trip. Though it was early in the year, her bees were actively building their combs giving Jenn the perfect opportunity to describe their work to us in full detail. It was a fun and enriching way to get some hands on experience with a bit of harmonious agriculture. It may be a bit off the beaten path, but that is what I was looking for. And to that end, it wasn’t too hard to find, Siri got us there.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. We loved the fireplace it was the highlight of our stay. The cabin was very homey. The kitchen had everything you needed to feel at home. It was a little too cold for us to spend anytime on the porch’s but they were set up really nice with rocking chairs. I would recommend the cabin for a quiet and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

This cabin in the woods was just perfect. Great location for us to join our Family in Pumpkintown, SC. We were able to be near them with a nice quick drive early or late into the evening. The cabin was cozy but very spacious. Our kids enjoyed waking and playing the board games provided or cuddling up and watching televison, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning sipping coffee and watching the sunrise with a book. There is a nice paved road for walks or morning runs with very little traffic. We will absolutely be staying here in the future and sharing the location with family and friends.

Five stars! We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. Loved the hiking trails behind the house (if you head to the left you'll see an awesome waterfall!) and saw deer and even the white squirrels! Great location—close to town with charming shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Quiet and quaint cabin. We felt welcomed from the start. The hosts had great communication and asked questions in a timely manner. The fire pit was a fun addition that we took advantage of on the cooler night. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway that is close to The Pretty Place and downtown Brevard. Shoutout to the Canteen. One of the most unique family feel type of bar you’ll ever go to.
