Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Amazing place. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were extremely comfortable. Hot tub worked great. Location so close to town center. One of the best Airbnb rentals we have ever had.

This house was amazing for our group of 5 guys that were in town for a mountain bike trip. It would be equally amazing for a family or even a couple of families. The house itself is well appointed with lots of fun, funky surprises (lighting, silverware, countertops, shower floors...). The beds were very comfortable as were the recliners in the living room. There are some tools and a bike stand in the garage if you want to fix your own bike, or you can easily walk across the street to Squatch Bikes and Brews and their friendly crew will fit you in! The rooftop is a fun additional perk, especially with the hot tub. Then there's the location - walkable to downtown, but we didn't even find the need to go there because we had everything we needed within the Lumberyard district (don't skip out on Morning Social for breakfast). Highly recommend Ryan's place, he was a great host!

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

Only thing is that once in the cabin, no internet or phone connection. I believe it’s x the location. Still it’s great for Whoever wants a real disconnection from the world and enjoy nature!

Absolutely beautiful house with an extraordinary view of the mountains! House was very well kept, and plenty of room to spread out in the place. Comfy couches and blankets upstairs and down that allowed our family to relax together after our hiking! The windows in the house allow a lot of natural sunlight and provide breath taking views even from within. David was very helpful getting us to his place and providing clear instructions of how to get in and of what he expects. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you!

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

Awesome place to stay with a big group. Amenities were great for staying in, and the location is great for heading into Brevard or going out to explore. Would highly recommend the spot.

We had a fabulous girls trip at this property in North Asheville. Woodfin is a great location and had walkable restaurants nearby. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. 16 minutes to the Biltmore House. The property itself was amazing. We had six ladies on the trip and we all felt that there was more than enough space in this home. Plenty of bathrooms. Nice open concept kitchen and living room. The gas fireplace was an awesome perk. Hot tub was very enjoyable in the cool December night. And the wine fridge upstairs near hot tub was a delight. Highly recommend this property as well as the other YONDER properties. I would definitely use this property again when I return to Asheville.

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we have stayed at. A rating higher than 5 stars is needed to separate this from the other 5 star ratings. Well stocked for large groups/families, and Christina was very responsive to every inquiry. If it is available, this is the one you want.

There is definitely good reason for all the 5 star reviews for this property and its lovely host, Julie. Her attention to detail down to the lovely welcome treats made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. She never failed to respond to my questions very promptly from the moment I made the reservation, and was always friendly and engaging. The location is incredibly private and peaceful, and the views just can't be beat. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated, and the mattress is outstanding! Everything feels fresh, new, and clean, and the views from inside are just as beautiful as outside from the deck. Overall, it is such a cozy and comfortable place to be, and so hard to leave. My stay here went by way too quickly, but won't soon be forgotten. Without a doubt one of my absolute favorite AirBNB stays ever.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

This stay was amazing! It had so many family friendly amenities, from pickleball, basketball, yoga, life size chess, arcade games, shuffleboard, hot tub and sauna. We couldn’t peel the kids away from the back yard! The fire pit at sunset was so relaxing. The inside was clean, cozy and inviting. We loved watching movies in the theater to wind down after a fun filled day. We will definitely be back!

This was a great place to stay with a large group of friends. We had 3 families (6 adults, 5 kids) and we felt like there was plenty of room to spread out and do our own thing, but we also appreciated being able to gather in one of the large living spaces when we wanted to hang out all together. The house and property are both beautiful - the pictures don't do them justice. The property is secluded and private, but not so far out that local restaurants won't deliver (we ordered takeout almost every night). Overall we had a really great stay and would recommend to anyone travelling with a large group!

Sundog was a fantastic host. Great communication before, during, and after the stay. The cabin was beautiful and everything we wanted for our family Christmas gathering. Highly recommend Sundog and the Havilah Falls house.

Beautiful home, very spacious with plenty of places to place and hang clothing. The bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. The fireplace made the room feel so cozy in the evening! Peaceful back porch, plenty of seating with quick walk to a beautiful stream. We had a great few days with our kids!

Hugh's place is a real retreat. Hugh was very responsive. We used the jacuzzi each evening, a real treat. We also walked around the area and drove to waterfalls, hikes and restraunts about 25 minutes away. We look forward to going back.

Cabin was great for a weekend getaway! Kids loved feeding the fish and the bunk beds. Traveled down to Brevard for the day for groceries and a meal. Even got to see a white squirrel!

This is probably the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. Everything from the scenery to the peace and quiet of being in the woods. Everything was perfect. I usually am skeptical and worry about traveling and where to stay but this place was top tier. The hot tub was our favorite haha. This is a perfect place if you want to be secluded while also being close to the main attractions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely be our place when we come back!

A well appointed cabin perched in the mountains. It was a wonderful base camp for our family spring break. We loved the location to all the activities we did. We really enjoyed coming back to the cabin after hikes and exploring and enjoying the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast before we headed out and reheat left overs too. If we would have had a few more days we probably would have taken advantage of the grill and cooked a full meal too. The hosts were very responsive and gave us some great suggestions too. We totally recommend it and hope to return.
