Courtney was a great host and very responsive! The location was beautiful and has plenty to do for a winter getaway away. We loved our time here.

This was the perfect location to stay for our fall golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. A beautiful home less than 20 minutes to the course. Highly recommended.

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely home in an amazing location. The access to Silver Lake with paddle boards and kayaks readily available was amazing!

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

This home was so amazing and we had the best time. Very clean home, with many items that we were able to use to cook our meals right at the house. Spacious, and absolutely LOVED that there were so many night lights around the home making it so nice when all were in bed and needed to get up to use the bathroom and did not have to turn on any lights, because lots of night lights placed in the right places to light the way to restroom. Highly recommend to anyone needing to host a big group of people comfortably!!! This location is also so amazing and peaceful!!

The cottage was exactly what we expected, and more so. The view of the lake was just as spectacular in the morning as it was in the evenings!! Extremely comfortable, homey, and a great place to relax!! First time visiting Michigan, won't be the last. Thank you John & Melanie for providing such a wonderful place to stay!! Lynne & Bryan

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

The Blue Pearl Cottage was a wonderful experience. A group of guys went for a weekend snowboarding trip and it was the perfect cabin. The bathroom was stocked with everything you need and saved us with some items we forgot. This cabin felt like home and was a joy to be at.

The house was exactly as described and spotless! The location is perfect and setting is beautiful. This was a weekend girls trip and all three of us were so happy, we hope to come back in the summer. Thank you Theresa for a wonderful stay!

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

The woods and river on the property were absolutely beautiful in the snow. Lots of firs and cedars that caught the snow. I wasn’t sure how close the nearest neighbor would be and how private the cabin would feel but the trees and gentle slope provided perfect privacy even in winter. The cabin is situated ever so slightly downslope from the road, offering privacy there too. The photos of the cabin and view don’t do it justice—such a lovely home with big beautiful windows, kitchen things, and bathroom essentials. The well water is super good too—fresh and clear, no taste! I loved that it felt like we were deep in the woods without having to actually rough it. The cabin size and style was just right to feel cozy, well-appointed, and comfortably at-home (not one of those crazy lakeside mansions, which some may love, but I do not ;). It was also nice to find a place where dogs were welcome without getting slammed with pet fees and big restrictions. Wonderful getaway! :D

We loved our stay at this cabin on a cold winter weekend. We greatly enjoyed the wood stove, and everything was well thought through amenities-wise. John was very friendly and helpful. I’m sure it’s lovely in the warmer months with Bar Lake in the backyard and Lake MI just down the road!

Tom was great! he helped us out with a trailer issue, highly recommend staying here! will be going back again

A very cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The fall colors were amazing.

Great place and location. The house was cozy and well appointed. It is an older home and comes with quirks. If you are familiar to "up north" cabins this will not be a matter to consider at all. If you are used to champagne and canopy beds and you know who you are look elsewhere like maybe out of state. I have nothing bad to say about this place. You will love it!
