what can I say? it was heaven. the cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pics if that's possible. it was warm, clean, cosy and had all the amentities you could want. the views were incredible. the hosts came back really quickly to any questions, I really can't rate it enough. we're not even home 24 hours and already planning our next trip!

I almost don’t want to write a raving review just to make it stay a hidden gem! This is truly a fantastic place to stay, hosts are amazing and everything is well maintained and taking care of. If you want to be in the most beautiful region of Norway, hike, drive, enjoy northernlight and the luxury of activities and ammenities, this is your place! We will definitely come back!

Am struggling to write a review without sounding over the top or insincere - Finn and Marianne were the perfect hosts in every way. The cabin and surroundings are even more spacious and beautiful than the photos. Finn was the most responsive host, he gave us tips to see the Northern lights and even messaged when they were the most active! They gave advice on a car borrowing site when we had to amend our dates last minute (Getaround) when there were no other hire car options during the busy period in Norway. They legitimately saved our trip (and us alot of money in the process, as this option was also far cheaper than traditional car rental agencies). They and the cabin both exceeded every expectation, would recommend hugely! Was the perfect, peaceful stay.

Eine wirklich perfekte Woche bei bestem Winterwetter durften wir in diesem tollen Haus verbringen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, wir sind angekommen und konnten sofort den Urlaub genießen. Alles sehr sauber, Küche gut ausgestattet, Holz für die ersten beiden Tage war bereits vorhanden, die Betten bezogen, das Haus war schon warm, der Whirlpool sofort nutzbar. Die ausgezeichnete Lage mit dem wunderbaren Blick auf Wasser und Berge, die absolute Ruhe, die gemütliche und hochwertige Ausstattung mit den riesigen Panoramafenstern, der großen Terrasse, dem toll platzierten Whirlpool und die Nähe zu unserer norwegischen Lieblingsstadt Tromsø machen dieses Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Nordlichter vom Whirlpool aus beobachten zu können, war natürlich irre. Kurzum: es gibt keinen einzigen Minuspunkt, volle Empfehlung :-) ! Danke an Ørjan und seine fleißigen unsichtbaren Helfer, die das Haus sauber halten!

Wir hatten erneut eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem außergewöhnlichen Haus!!

Wirklich ein wunderschönes Haus und alles hat toll funktioniert! 😍 Haben sehr viele Polarlichter gesehen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Der Whirlpool war das absolute Highlight und der Ausblick war großartig. Teilweise war etwas wenig Abstellfläche. Die Anreise war aufgrund der eisigen Straße trotz 4x4 etwas herausfordernd.

Alles war super. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und flexibel. Die Küchenausstattung ist natürlich sehr beschränkt, weil es klein ist. Schliesslich ist es auch auf einem Camping. Duschen und WC sind ausserhalb, aber nicht weit weg. die Hütte hat kein fliessendes Wasser, keine eigene Dusche und kein WC. Dafür ist ein grosser Wasserbehälter vorhanden. Unbedingt eigenes Badetuch mitnehmen. Es war sehr ruhig und schön und ich hatte in der Nacht (es ist Ende Februar) sogar das Glück, Nordlichter zu sehen. Die Hauptstrasse (E6) liegt zwar unmittelbar neben dem Platz, ist in der Nacht aber kaum gefahren. Ich habe wunderbar schlafen können.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich dort wo sich Fuchs und Hase gute Nacht sagen. Hase haben wir immerhin einmal gesehen, wie auch ein flinker Wiesel und schon fast zutrauliche Rentiere. Es ist ruhig und bietet eine Sensationelle Aussicht auf das Meer und in der Nacht auf Nordlichter. Beim Welcom hat uns Ann-Karin ein Brot und ein Konfi übergeben, vielen Dank, durften wir hier einige Ferientage verbringen

Très bel endroit. Proche de la nature. Nous avons eu la chance d'observer un aigle pêcheur depuis la cabane le matin et des aurores boréales le soir. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter si l'occasion se présente. Un grand merci à toi May-Tordis pour nous avoir hébergé dans ta cabane.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Melissa ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, sie hat immer schnell geantwortet und war jederzeit erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und kann den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen. Besonders schön war der tolle Blick. Eine klare Empfehlung.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. Rune and Ove really went over and above to help us have an enjoyable and stress free visit. The sauna was amazing and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights dancing over Narvik. I hope i get the chance to revisit, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Wir waren für eine Woche in dem wundervollen Haus von Raymond und Kirsti. Als wir spät Abends zum Haus kamen, wurden wir mit warmen Räumen empfangen. Es war einfach wunderschön und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und haben die Zeit genießen können. Das Haus bietet viel Komfort und auch für die Gemütlichkeit war gesorgt...es gab Holz für den Kamin und Kerzen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Sauna haben wir uns Abends entspannen können und für einen Spieleabend, sind jede Menge Spiele vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit Raymond war perfekt und sehr schnell. Wir sagen nochmal von ganzem Herzen "Danke".

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The location was one of a kind—super calming, beautifully remote, and unlike anything we had ever experienced before. Being away from civilization while still enjoying complete comfort and coziness made this trip super special. We would do it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended! In addition, Anton was an exceptional host—remarkably friendly, warm-hearted, incredibly hospitable, attentive, and flexible. By the end of our stay, we felt like we had gained a new friend, even though we had just met. That is something truly special.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been ! The view from the lounge room didn’t feel real ! I spent hours just sitting , reading and watching the world go by ! It was magic , the place, the area and the support we had from Jan and Ingrid made this a trip to remember ! Definitely coming back in the future !

La casa è davvero accogliente in una posizione strategica vicino alla fermata del traghetto, ma comunque immersa nella tranquillità. Da un lato c’è una bellissima vista sul fiordo sul mare e dall’altra parte ci sono una vista sulle montagne e questa posizione ci ha permesso anche di vedere l’aurora boreale direttamente dall’appartamento. L’appartamento appena equipaggiato con utensili per la cucina, asciugamani, phon, divani e il letto è stato molto comodo. Silvia e Thomas veramente gentilissimi è molto disponibili anche nell’aiutarci a capire come funzionava il traghetto. Davvero assolutamente consigliatissimo!!!

Beautiful location, the house had everything you need, the host family was very kind and helped us with everything! Only thing was hard to access the house with the snow sometimes but they helped with some dust and rocks to help the path! Very strongly suggested!

We stayed in the cabin for 2 days. It was a amazing stay. The view from the cabin was incredible and peaceful. We had to chance to go a walk around the cabin. Anders help to us to make a fire pit in front of the cabin. We saw Northern Lights during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for a couple of days with northern lights.

Parfait rien à dire !!! Merci beaucoup pour cette nuit dans votre cabane !!!! Un paysage absolument magnifié avec un lever de soleil de soleil à couper le souffle !!

Une petite cabane parfaite, cosy, agréable, décorée avec soin, dans un cadre idéal (nous avons eu droit à un ballet d'aurores boréales juste au dessus de nos têtes 3 soirs, le rêve) à deux pas de la mer et une vue à couper le souffle. Lisa et Tor sont des hôtes adorables, toujours souriants et pleins d'attentions, nous avons même eu de bons légumes de leur ferme et plein d'autres petits cadeaux 😊 Ils nous ont même aidé à sortir notre voiture coincée dans la neige 🥰 Pour moi le meilleur Airbnb dans lequel je suis allée, un petit paradis cosy en Norvège 🩷

It was an amazing time spent at Bente's and Trond's hytte. The house is super clean, cozy and fully equipped. The stove is a great addition to overall feeling like in movies :) The view outside the windows is breathtaking. It is also a great spot for car trips for different directions. Bente and Trond were very responsive and helpful ♥️. I addition to that there was and Aurora shining for us above the house. All in all perfect winter vacations. We truly recommend for singles, couples and families.

Beautiful cabin in an amazing location. The host was friendly and quick to respond. I wish we could have stayed longer!
