The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique dans un cadre exceptionnel et un logement fonctionnel et cosy. Un véritable havre de paix qui mérite très largement le détour!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wundervoll. Das Haus bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer, den wir täglich genossen haben. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir benötigten. Die ruhige Umgebung und die Nähe zur Natur machten unseren Aufenthalt besonders erholsam. Der Gastgeber war äußerst hilfsbereit und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Wir vier waren für eine Woche bei Jenny und Johan. Die Unterkunft war wunderbar und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit!!! Vor allem der Ausblick auf den Fjord, die Umgebung und unfassbare Nordlichter muss man herausheben. Der Jacuzzi auf der Terrasse war das i-Tüpfelchen. Besonders möchten wir uns für die Hinweise zur Anreise bedanken. Die Straße war durch Lawinen gesperrt und Jenny/Johan haben uns Tipps und Infos für die Umfahrung gegeben. Einfach super. Vielen Dank!

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

We struggled to find the cabin but I don’t think we would have had any difficult if we had arrived in daylight. The host was very responsive and arrived on site within 3 minutes to show us where to go. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was basic but just as described and what we expected. It was nestled in a lovely peaceful and tranquil environment. A perfect place for a nature lovers get away.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

Grandiose Hütte mit schöner Aussicht und ruhiger Lage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, geben viele hilfreiche Tipps und geben aktuelle Informationen für die Gegend weiter. 👍🏼 Die Sauna war ein wirklich klasse Feature das wir mit Schnee-Baden sehr gerne genutzt haben 🧖🏽‍♀️ Mit dem Ofen und der Heizung bleibt die Hütte schön warm was das Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer noch gemütlicher macht 🔥 Auch den Weber-Gasgrill mit Aussicht haben wir sehr genossen! 🌭 Alles in allem war es wirklich ein sehr schöner Urlaub im Winterwonderland und wir würden alle auf jeden Fall gerne wieder kommen! 😊

Die Hütte ist wunderschön gelegen an einem kleinen See mit perfektem Blick auf die wunderschönen Nordlichter (die stärksten die wir bisher überhaupt gesehen haben!) Wir konnten die Lichter sogar vom Bett aus durch das große Fenster sehen und beobachten. Es ist ein ruhiger Ort und perfekt zum Entspannen und den Alltagsstress zu entkommen. Die Hütte ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und man hat alles was man braucht. Durch die großen Fenster fühlt man sich der Natur sogar noch ein bisschen näher. Wer im Winter mitten im Wald in Ruhe vor einem Kamin entspannen möchte, zwischendurch einen Saunagang machen und dann nach Nordlichtern jagen will der ist hier genau richtig. (es gibt auch die Möglichkeit für Schneeschuhwanderungen etc. Das haben wir allerdings selbst nicht ausprobiert)

Hytte som passet oss veldig godt som familie. Veldig god plassering nært bakken og også langrennsløypene. Enkel og fleksibel innsjekk/utsjekk. Hytta er godt utstyrt og vi hadde alt vi trengte. Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet!

The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely unforgettable. We spent three nights here and were thrilled to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights during our visit. Hytten er fantastisk fin, bra beliggenhet. Alt av fasiliteter. Koselig bål gruve rett ved hytten. Scooter løype rett i nærheten, fine fiske vann , denne hytten anbefales! Takk for oss😊

We are no strangers to Tromso but this was the first time we had stayed at Monica's place. We were very pleased to have chosen to do so though and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The instructions on how to get there were good although we perhaps wouldn't have tried to drive the final 400m to the house at all if we'd appreciated just how tricky that can be even when it's been 'cleared' and the car tyres were studded. Better is just to park in the garage at the top. The guide to the house also covered everything and we enjoyed in particular the sauna and fire (lots of wood provided). The hot tub is a more basic one but we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. The location is great for the Northern Lights with low light pollution and possibility to walk all the way round the house on the veranda. The house is very well equipped and we discovered the local reindeer whilst making good use of the snow shoes. We'd thoroughly recommend Monica and her beautiful house and happily stay again.

Die Hütte ist ein absoluter Traum und hat alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein unglaublicher Panoramablick von jedem Raum aus, sauber, sehr gemütlich, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet und lädt zum Kochen ein. Die unglaublichen Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse sowie die Nordlichter fast jeden Abend, bleiben für uns sehr in Erinnerung. Skitouren und Schneewanderungen vor dem Haus und Umgebung möglich. Christopher ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter, aufmerksamer und fantastischer Gastgeber. Er hat uns jedes Mal vor einer atemberaubender Nordlichter Show informiert. Ganz herzlichen Dank für diese unvergesslichen 9 Tage Urlaub in dieser wunderschönen Hütte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
