This was by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Tobias was the kindest host and responsive and attentive from the first moment. Our flight arrived at 1PM and Tobias managed to arrange an earlier check-in for us, the house was beautifully presented and even more gorgeous in person than in the photos. During the visit there was a small issue with the hot tub and we messaged Tobias and he had the issue resolved within 15 minutes of our message. We have been completely blown away by Tobias' hospitality and we all lamented leaving the property today and nobody in our group wanted to head home!

Great place. We stayed at 3 different places on our Tromso visit, and wish we would have booked this one longer. Location is outside of city proper, but very easy to drive into Tromso. Up to date amenities and generous host, very helpful and nice welcome. When we return to Trom, will book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The location is perfect – close to the city and many great spots in the area. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view: we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the hot tub or the terrace – truly magical! The house is cozy and well-equipped – everything we needed was there. The two bathrooms were especially convenient and made our stay even more comfortable. Communication was excellent – always quick and reliable. Thanks to Lill Heidi’s great tips, we even got to see reindeer, which was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for the amazing hospitality – we would love to come back anytime!

Ever was perfect. The house, the surroundings. Perfect place to see the northern lights. And we were able to see a seal as well. Nice sunny days and also to experience the real winter has given the real wow feeling.

Beautiful house and the hot tub was great. The lower floor is rented out as a separate unit (we didn't realize this) but aside from a bit of noise late one night we had no issues.

Really nice house in a quiet spot at the fjord, we saw the northern lights nearly every day infront of our door! Perfect spot to start day trips with a rental car! Jacuzzi sadly didn’t work but we were offered to use the other jacuzzi :) We had a lovely time!

Heidi is such a communicative and thoughtful host! The house is beautiful overlooking the water - it almost looks like you're in a cruise ship when you're in the living / dining area. It's a little far from center of town, but there's a bus that comes every 1-2 hours, so we made sure to catch that whenever possible. The house was spotless and the beds were superrr comfortable. Beautiful Airbnb, very good value for money. Host was very accommodating as we viewed before we booked. Beautifully decorated house, well equipped kitchen and the host was very generous with supplies. Spa tub, sauna and cinema room. Although a little outside Tromso, a cab cost £18 into the city centre and is walkable if snow not too deep . Good supermarket a short walk at the top of the road. Would strongly recommend a stay, you won’t be disappointed.

Das Haus ist wirklich toll und sieht genau wie auf den Fotos aus, die Lage ist mega und obwohl ich alleine eine Woche dort verbracht habe, kann man dort gut mit 2-4 Personen (für 5+6 gibt es dann nur noch Hochbetten und für 7+8 ein abgetrenntes Bett im großen Schlafzimmer) bleiben. Es ist ruhig, man hat einen schönen Ausblick aufs Wasser, alles funktioniert soweit (außer vieler kaputter Deckenleuchten) und man kann von dort aus viele Unternehmungen starten (z.B. Hundeschlittenfahren nur 10min entfernt und nach Tromsø sind es auch nur 20min). Leider wurde die Zufahrt nicht regelmäßig geräumt, trotz täglichen Schneefalls lediglich zweimal auf Nachfrage. Selbst mit einem Allrad-SUV benötigt es also etwas Erfahrung, um den Berg wieder raufzukommen. Zudem sind ein Großteil der Töpfe in der Küche nicht für den Induktionsherd geeignet, was das Kochen stark einschränkt. Wenn man dies weiß, kann man besser planen :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Frank's beautiful house. Lots of space and a nice jacuzzi! Frank is a kind host, responded quickly if we had any questions. There is a busstop close to the house, the bus goes to Tromsø often. You can also take a taxi. To Tromsø center we paid NOK 1000 (one way)

Tore Gjert hat ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer spektakulären Aussicht auf das Meer. Es ist sehr persönlich und gemütlich eingerichtet und man findet alles was man braucht. Man sollte allerdings nichts im Supermarkt vergessen haben, denn der Weg dorthin ist zwar schön, aber weit. Das Café ein wenig die Straße weiter ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tore Gjert ist ein toller und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, mit dem wir einen guten Kontakt hatten.

this was honestly ideal. the view from the yard and from the living room is what you imagine a tromsö view to be. the house itself is spacious, great location (bus stop 3 min, bus ride to city center 10 min, suburban, quiet, the sea is right there), great taste in furniture and decor, we (a family of 5) felt really good there. sippie the cat was a hit with our 4yo, the trampoline was also a major highlight with the kids. the store is just a walk away. on many nights we simply wandered around the beachfront looking for "the perfect rock". this is not a generic "made for airbnb" space with just the essentials. this really is a home away from home. 10/10 would reccommend.

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

The cabins are beautifully located right on the sea front, the island is stunning and its so so quiet, it is impossible to describe how peaceful it feels, I absolutely loved the fresh snow each morning like a blank canvas to start each day. We used the hot tub 2 nights and had the northern lights dancing overhead due to the amazing location which is ultimately what we went for. The cabin was warm, well equipped, clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The cabin was plenty big enough for 6 adults. Maria was super responsive and even popped round when we couldn’t get the hob to work which she fixed, she was also very helpful with where to go walking on the island and lent us spikes for our shoes. The shop is well stocked and we managed to get most things we needed for the weekend we stayed. The only limitations are the ferry’s to and from the island and the bus service to the ferry terminal but that adds to the quiet and isolation in this amazing place

Meravigliosa baita con una vista incredibile sul fiordo. Luminosa e confortevole, con un sacco di spazi comuni utili per le nostre esigenze. É stata la base perfetta per la nostra settimana di scialpinismo a Lyngen. Inoltre, la chicca è la vasca idromassaggio esterna dove ci si può rilassare sotto le stelle a fine giornata. Maria e Andreas sono sempre stati disponibili e molto amichevoli, accogliendoci anche nel cuore della notte a causa di un ritardo del nostro volo. Consigliatissimo!

The property is as described and Fabiane was extremely responsive to all communication. The property is 1.5 hours south of Tromso. It’s a beautiful drive but if it’s snowing, it’ll take longer and if you’re not used to driving in the snow, could be a bit scary. You’re kinda in the middle of Senja and Tromso which I don’t think is that convenient if you’re going to either, 1.5 to 2 hours each way. If you want to be away from it all, this is the perfect place. The igloo is the showstopper for this property. It’s heated by either electric heater or a fire, or both. The bed is super comfortable and to be inside while it snows is magical. The hot tub is also wonderful. Being inside while watching the northern lights is glorious. The main house is fine but takes a little to get set up when you get in; water has to be turned on, house is super cold and all the rooms have space heaters. Not a fan of the owners food and toiletries left out but it’s their home. Overall, great…

Ronny’s place is beautiful, very neat and clean. It is one of the best stocked Airbnbs we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in lots (and I’m also a Superhost!). Ronny was very responsive and answered kindly. Thanks again!

Une pépite! Marius a construit de ses mains un nid à la fois épuré et cosy. À 30 minutes de l'aéroport et 45 minutes de Tromsø, pratique pour un séjour en nature, loin de la pollution lumineuse pour attraper les aurores boréales. Un havre de paix finalement assez facile d'accès en transports publics, en anticipant un peu les activités. Marius est très gentil, réactif et serviable. On sent qu'il a mis tout son cœur dans son chalet! Mention spéciale aux spectacles magiques des aurores boréales depuis le jacuzzi! Enchanteur!!

Absolutely amazing place with beautiful a beautiful view of the mountains, ocean, and Northern Lights. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to call “home” while visiting Norway. The deck, hot tub, and viewing deck were a perfect place to view the Northern Lights. When staying at Wenche’s place, you can take a walk on the beach, dip your toes in the ocean, drive to Sommarøy, view Northern Lights, head towards Tromsø, or simply sit in the living room and look out the massive windows at majestic mountains. In addition to all of the beautiful nature, the house also had everything you’d need: kitchen items, plenty of towels, smart TV, and EXTREMELY comfortable beds! I hope I get to come back to Brensholmen and stay at this house again in the future…I was able to check off so many bucket list items!

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Die Lage am Wasser, top modernes Haus mit vielen Schlafmöglichkeiten, die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und die Aussicht aus den großen Fenstern ist einfach traumhaft. Andre war immer erreichbar, hat uns geholfen die Situation vor Ort zu verstehen (da wir mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gekommen sind) und hat klar Anweisungen für den Check-in und Check-out geschickt. Alles in allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt und wir würden sofort wieder kommen.
