Rita was the kindest host. The place was perfect and beautiful. We didn’t wanna leave, it’s not in the city centre but that’s what we wanted. We even saw northern lights from the Airbnb. We had the best stay especially thanks to Rita’s hospitality. She went above and beyond to help us in every way she could. The place itself was short of nothing, amazing views, great space, very well decorated and clean. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a group of 8 stay at Anette's home and we had a wonderful time. Annette was a great host, she was flexible and kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late. The home was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our week there. Annette had a binder with all kinds of local recommendations for restaurants and activities that we found very helpful. We rented a car to use and were able to get around to downtown Tromso and the surrounding area very easily. It was the perfect home base for our arctic adventure!

Díky za možnost u vás bydlet, moc jsme si to užili. Lyžování na okolních kopcích bylo famózní. Jen by bylo dobré lépe vybavit kuchyni když vaříme pro devět lidí- větší hrnce, atd. Nicméně moc díky Martin

Séjour très agréable dans un environnement calme. Nous avons pu observer plusieurs soirs les aurores boréales depuis le terrain situé derrière le sauna. Il y a une belle vue sur le fjord depuis le logement.

Nosaltres hem estat a la casa del 27 de gener al 6 de febrer del 2025. La casa s´ha alineat amb les expectatives que teníem. Molt ben situada, prop de la ciutat (30 km) però prou allunyada per tenir la foscor per veure aurores (em vam veure moltes) i estar molt tranquils. L´equipament de la casa era impecable. tenia de tot (nosaltres vam arribar a ser 5 persones) i estava ple d´instruccions de la Line. A banda amb la Line i Kim vam tenir una comunicació permanent, tant abans d´arribar a la casa (vam preguntar per la carretera, que podíem fer, restaurants on anar...) com a l´estada. Resumint, és un lloc perfecte per anar a passar uns dies i tenir la sort de veure aurores. Si algun dia volem tornar per aquesta zona segur que intentarem repetir en aquesta casa (i la recomanarem als nostres amics)

We stayed for 4 nights in Soranas apartment. It was perfect for what we needed, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, not far from the city and an easy bus close by. We even managed to see the northern lights a couple of minutes walk up the hill! Sorana was very responsive and helpful through our stay! Would highly recommend

We stayed for 4 nights at Thorleif’s place and had the best time. Thorleif was so kind and really wants you to have a fantastic time in Tromso - he was so generous with lending us warm winter clothes and firewood for the cabin at the top of the hill. The location is wonderful and the best place to see the northern lights. If you are in Tromso don’t hesitate to book this place. You won’t regret it! I really recommend and wish we could do our holiday all over again!

Kamilla and Eirik were the best Airbnb hosts we've met. They were impressively responsive to the many questions we had about the area and helpful with suggestions for skiing and trails (a number of which are right out the front door), and also with information about interesting places to visit. The house was warm and welcoming and we felt at home right away. The 4 of us enjoyed the comfortable living room where we had mesmerizing views of awe-inspiring mountains and the fjord, which is a few steps from the front door. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up feasts which we did every night. And what a bonus to find we had northern lights in the field in front of the house! Thank you for providing the perfect setting for our family reunion!

Sandra is super nice and the place is amazing! The view is stunning and the kitchen has everything we needed. If you are coming during the snow season, be careful of the icy slope in front of the house.

The house gives you a home-feeling instantly and the style of the facilities and furnitures is tasteful and modern. The beautiful bathroom and the fireplace in the living room with view on the Ersfjord make this place so special. Ellen is a great host and gives a welcome-feeling to the guests. Good spot for outdoor activities such as skitouring, hiking or watersports in summer.

Mille mercis à Merete pour avoir contribué à rendre ce voyage incroyable. Cela n'aurait pas été pareil sans elle. Je ne peux que confirmer tous les très bons commentaires qui m'ont poussée à réserver ce logement. On se sent comme à la maison et Merete tient à partager ses conseils et à prendre soin de ses voyageurs. Logement à 15 min du centre-ville, facile d'accès en bus. Quartier très agréable avec de jolies balades à proximité. Magnifique vue depuis l'appartement. Je recommande fortement et d'autant plus pour les voyageuses seules.

Notre avion est arrivé tard le soir et l’hôte a accepté que nous arrivions après minuit. La chambre était très confortable dans un appartement grand et propre avec une très belle vue. Le quartier est accessible en bus très facilement depuis le centre-ville.

Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

We had the most wonderful stay at Linn and Hans’ place! It was absolutely perfect. We paid a little extra for Hans to give us a lift from the airport as we didn’t have a car. At the end of our trip, we walked to the bus stop to get back to town. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, incredible views, a sense of space, this is the one. The cosiest cabin, and snowshoe walks you can take straight from the door. It’s not very far from a cross country ski track, so if you had xc skis you could reasonably get out on them. The walk up to the cabin is about 15 minutes if you’re a little unfit (like I am!) but it’s worth it for the extra elevation and views you get for it. Of course - one thing we were anxious not to miss were the Northern Lights and you can see these from the garden! We had a fantastic show for a couple of nights and could pop in and warm up while waiting for them to come out! If you want an authentic Norwegian cabin experience, a reasonable distance from Tromsø, this is it!

The space was more than enough for us 4 with the extra kids room left empty. It's a cozy cabin and newly installed sauna(just outside of the cabin). The neighbors were some chatty cows that definitely bring you some giggles. On a clear evening you can see the aurora directly from the cabin. the best sightings are from the new bedroom to the left of the garage entrance. It is quiet and relaxing with a lovely view of the Tromsø island. Since you are already outside of town, you cut your driving time to some of the best hikes in the Tromsø area. The best local grocery store is 10min drive down the street from the cabin with great local offerings like reindeer meat at smoked salmon. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools/utensils one needs and even a dishwasher. We had a great time and Rebecca and Werner were absolutely lovely. They were very attentive, answered all of our questions/requests for recommendations promptly and even brought over wildlife ID books for us. <3

Turid and Hans place truly is Paradise! The photos don't do it justice! Turid was so helpful from the moment we booked until we departed, making sure we had clear instructions and plenty of great recommendations. Hans made sure we knew everything we needed to when we arrived. He had a roaring fire going for us, explained everything and left us some very well received welcome goodies. Both Hans and Turid stayed in touch during our stay to make sure we were settled in and to see if we wanted any more recommendations. The place itself is utterly perfect! We are already planning another stay in winter and also a midnight sun trip as well. We both slept so well in the beds, super comfy! Lovely kitchen/dining area with everything you need and the kitchen has everything you need. The wifi is super-fast and there is a Smart TV if you need to be connected to the world. The Sauna and Hot-Tub have the most amazing views over the Fjord. We cannot wait to stay again, as we didn't want to leave!

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und perfekt um die wunderschöne Umgebung zu genießen! Es war so schön ruhig und perfekt für eine kleine Auszeit. Die Unterkunft lädt dazu ein einfach mal entspannt in den Tag zu starten und den Blick auf das Wasser und die Berge zu genießen! Maya hat immer schnell geantwortet, Tipps gegeben und eine sehr gute Beschreibung zur Unterkunft geliefert, sodass alles perfekt ablief. Immer wieder gerne!

Do you look for a good break from the noisy city life and if you want to get in touch with the nature and live a basic countryside life? then this is absolutely the right place for that. Also, the polar lights there looked amazing and the Cabin offers un ultimate coziness. Oystein was really nice and helpful. We never waited long for his responses. I'd be happy to go there again.

The place has just everything - amazing location (shop close for car, a great spot for chasing northern lights), fast wifi, wonderful countryside, access to beautiful walking paths (even the winter ones), and the aurora truly just from the balcony! :) Every day when the weather allows! Trine is so friendly, supportive, and helpful every time you need it! also left on the table many cultural and adventure trips, we truly enjoyed all the surroundings and also, when the weather was bad, we were able to do such a pleasant movie night thanks to the quality TV/sound inside while the stove kept the romantic fire in it. The kitchen is just perfect for your own cooking needs, the cabin is wonderfully warm and we literally felt like in a fairytale. You might only have an issue with the small bathroom, but hey - it is cabin. And what cabin allows you such a view (aurora even from window!) and also has everything you need inside. It perfect place for couples looking for romance in the middle of Norwegian snowy nature, but also for aurora chasers looking for truly pleasant base.

We had a lovely time at Nicklas’s cabin. The surroundings are beautiful. We loved using the hot tub and sauna. We were treated to a gorgeous aurora. Nicklas was friendly and responsive in the chat.

Die Unterkunft und die Lage sind fantastisch. Wir waren schon 2019 hier zu Gast und sind auch dieses Mal sehr begeistert. Morten hat uns wieder einige Tipps zu Schneeschuh-Touren gegeben und immer sofort auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet. Die Nordlichter haben wir fast täglich direkt ums Haus herum gesehen, was für ein Schauspiel. Sehr empfehlenswert.
