It was a wonderful stay with our daughter as she got company of 6 friendly corgi dogs. It was nice chit chatting with Donna and her husband. We felt right at home. Kitchen was well equipped with all essential stuff. The location of the house was very peaceful and it had quite many artistic touch. Definitely would be recommending my friends.

Such a nice little place. Short drive into town and to the zoo. Very peaceful surroundings and a nice garden vibe. Lorna is lovely and the place had everything we needed.

Our subcontractor team had a fantastic stay at Anne’s house while working on a project in the area. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything they needed for their stay. Anne was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend their stay unexpectedly. Her flexibility and understanding made a big difference for us. Welcoming host, proactive and provided with more facilities than one can think of. Great place to bring kids. We visited in April so it wasn’t too hot or too cold and used oil heater only late into the night. TIP: Move the oil heater closer to bed in peak winter before going to bed.

We had an absolute amazing days. So relaxing place to be at. Enormous space and amazing views. Loved watching and listening to the birds flying around the vineyard. Close to the town centre, the zoo and aquatic swimming centre. Would definitely come back.

This place is like a theme park A time travellers delight It is niche but if you want a piece of living history then you don’t go past the homestead Yes, its a bit dusty- but then so is history Seriously a grand experience Tied it in with the Elvis fest in Parkes and could not have been happier The host was super helpful and really clear With communications . Just so much fun

Very enjoyable. The ambience of the Heritage house was wonderful. Extremely comfortable. Lovely hosts. Vanessa gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed very interesting conversations. Vanessa was warm, hospitable and kind.

So beautiful and peaceful, it was the perfect escape. With the gorgeous bathtub and breakfast ingredients provided, it was everything we were after! And our dog was thrilled with all the space and their beautiful dog in the neighbouring garden! If we ever need a break from the city again, this is where we’ll be!
