The place is big and was perfect for our office party. Everybody enjoyed their stay and had everything we needed. We will be back definitely in the summer.

Wonderful house the property looks like it is set up to be some type of retreat or venue, which was absolutely perfect for our large family gathering. You won’t be disappointed staying at this lovely home.

This home was just lovely. Super comfortable and perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. Trampoline was a huge plus! Directly across the street from a large park and a very very quick drive (could have walked) to restaurants and shops. Hosts were very responsive, flexible and friendly. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful and comfortable escape in Mechanicsville. Shannon is very responsive and her home is very clean and inviting in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Convenient location for food, shopping, and popping into Richmond. Plenty of space to relax and unwind and the pool table was a bonus! Amenities were outstanding and my son wants to copy the coffee bar :) Highly recommend this property!

I've stayed at quite a few AirBnbs. Some have been ultra luxe, some have been bare minimum types where I couldn't wait to check out. Others, like Jennifer's, feel like my own house. This place is just so comfortable. It reminds me of what AirBnb is supposed to be: people opening up their homes for others so that a stay away from home still feels like home. My family and I loved staying here. It was close to everywhere we wanted to get to and my kids loved the pets, which were easy to care for. It was nice to have exercise equipment available and the fenced backyard and trampoline and playground were a big plus for my kids. Jennifer was a flexible host who made sure I had all the info available to me that I needed. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was an AMAZING stay! A group of us came to Richmond to celebrate my 30th birthday and our plans consisted of staying in, cooking, watching tv, and playing board games. We wanted to feel at home and be comfortable cooking and spending time together. This Airbnb certainly delivered! The rooms were big and spacious, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE and we immediately felt at home. If we needed anything, it was likely already provided and if we had any questions, the hosts were very quick to respond. They certainly went above and beyond. It was well worth the money we paid and we enjoyed ourselves so much. The photos came out beautifully too! What an incredible house and even better facilities. We can’t wait to return — this time in the summer!

A truly beautiful and recently renovated Home that exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating as we were bringing our special-needs child with us. The home was generously stocked with everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean with luxurious touches throughout, namely, the beautiful gas fireplace. We will for sure be back.

Great cottage! Large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Everything brand new. Very relaxing porches. Beautiful, woodsy surroundings.

Very charming and tasteful renovations. The house was spacious, clean and cozy. Had an issue getting into the house due to the lock, but the host was quick to respond and was able to let us in within minutes of notification. So thankful for the excellent communication and customer service. Will definitely stay here again!

We lived here for a month while house hunting after PCSing to the area. It cost the same as staying in a hotel but with James we had an older, but well-maintained townhouse with a nice living room, two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, private laundry, and a fully functional eat in kitchen with extra amenities like a Keurig, an air fryer, a toaster, in addition to the normal fridge/freezer/oven/stovetop/microwave! The neighborhood was friendly and quiet, and James was always very responsive. The area lost power one of the days we were there and he got in touch with the power company to make sure they were aware and updated us about when the power was expected to return. A great and honest host!

My family and I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Bill & Brian’s home while we toured VCU with our son. Our hosts were super understanding and accommodating of our last-minute schedule changes. We will definitely consider staying at their home again if our son decides to attend VCU next Fall. Our overall experience was A+++!!!

Great host and all the privacy

Scott and Michael were such gracious hosts and so very helpful. They were extremely responsive. I felt right at home with my baby and family for the 2 months I had to stay in Richmond. I really appreciated their hospitality and help. They also kept the walkways clear in the middle of a snow storm. I really appreciated that so that I didn’t slip while I headed out to work. I also loved the nearby trail and how fast I was able to get downtown! I already miss the place because it was a cozy home away from home. My only complaint: I seem to have missed out on the pastries everyone has been raving about lol! Just kidding—they did graciously gift us with coffee and local snacks that we truly appreciated :). Thanks again for being awesome hosts and all around good people!

This is a charming gem of a house. Plenty of room, well appointed and having a large front and back porch to enjoy is a fabulous bonus. The location is wonderful. Lots to see and do nearby but guests are also very close to Richmond if there are events/ activities that interest them.

We really enjoyed our stay. Mayra’s home was cozy and comfortable, and she was a great host! The home provided a great base from which to spend the weekend visiting our daughter at VCU. And when my wife realized that she was missing a ring, Mayra went out of her way to find it and get it to our daughter. The only minor drawback were the trains that ran throughout the night.

The house was perfect and the area was beautiful. We liked that the parking accommodated our needs as we were in the area for a fishing tournament and parking our boat was not an issue. Everything in the kitchen you could ever need and more also provided some snacks as well and if you forget a toothbrush or any other toiletries they have you covered. By far one of the best stays we have had looking forward to booking again next year

Great big house that is well suited for large family gatherings. Plenty of dishes and kitchen items for a large group. The seating in dining and kitchen is a bit limited given number of guests but workable. We loved the 4 season porch!!! We had a bit of a challenge with the heat on the coldest night of the year but the host was very responsive when I raised the concern- brought space heaters and a technician within a few hours. There is plenty of space and comfy couches to spread out. Overall, the basics are provided for a comfortable stay! Our family had a great time!

Crystal’s house was everything we expected it to be, neat, clean and a little on the funky side. We were in town for a wedding and had our two children, their spouses and five grandchildren, all under 10. It was really nice to have a yard the kids could play in so they could burn off some energy. We would definitely recommend Crystal‘s house to friends.

Beautiful house full of amenities and privacy within a short drive of historic downtown Petersburg where many hidden gems are located. Basia was very communicative and made our stay stress free. What a wonderful home and host!
