There is only great things we can say about our stay! Perfect and stunning ocean views! We loved hearing the ocean hit the rocky beach each day! It was a pleasure to meet the on site host and maintenance team members. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and helpful! The beds were very comfortable! The layout of the apartment was very cozy and well planned out. The location was great, we rented a car and hopped over to Tulum for a beach day, up to Chichen Itza and of course enjoyed a day at Akumal beach as well. Our favorite thing to do at this home, was to sit out on the deck, overlooking the gorgeous ocean view and watch the sun rise. So lovely! We highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at Fernando’s place in Tulum. The apartment was fully stocked with everything I needed for an extended stay and is conveniently located in Veleta, about a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute scooter ride from the main area on Calle 7. It felt very safe and secure, and being just far enough from the main road meant no traffic noise at night while still being close to everything. Fernando was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had. As a remote worker, I really appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, desk, and office chairs. I would definitely return!

Gabriela is an incredible host- far exceeded expectations! The condo was just like the photos and very clean. It’s in a developing neighborhood with some fantastic nearby restaurants within a short walking distance. There is construction on the street which the host mentions in the posting. It can be noisy most days (except Sunday) but we just put our headphones on and still enjoyed the outdoor spaces. One minute away is a small Cenote! And at least 3 others within travel distance on bikes or a scooter. It is about a 20 minute bike ride to the beach. You can walk to downtown Tulum (15 mins?) from the condo, some directions will lead you through some quite impoverished areas to get there. However, Tulum feels extremely safe and welcoming at all times. We loved our visit and our stay! Immerse yourself in the Mexican culture and you will love it too!

Santamar by Tao is a great new condo complex. This 3 bed 3 bath unit is very well appointed. Has Rooftop pool plus swimming pool at the beach a 5 minute walk away. Prices are very reasonable in this complex and you get great value even compared to elsewhere on the Riviera Maya. Would recommend this unit and this complex generally for a completely chill Akumal experience.

This Airbnb was perfect for our group of 3 couples staying in Tulum for 2 nights. The fact that we all had separate entrances to our rooms was amazing but there was also a shared space where we were able to hang out together during the day. The private pool was amazing, as was the shared pool area. It is truly a beautiful place and a great place to stay while in Tulum.

Beautiful ocean view! Wake up to the sunrise, waves crashing in on the rocks, it’s stunning. The condo has beautiful tile decor, comfortable beds and kitchen is well-equipped, drinking water supplied. Amazing place! (Wifi is not good if that’s important). When we arrived, the power was out. JP greeted us and the team kindly helped us with our bags, apologizing for the inconvenience. They got the fridge working but we did not have use of power for approx 24 hours which made the beginning of our stay tricky. *We did not ask for nor receive any compensation for the inconvenience.* Our kids loved the pool. Although it was the middle of the day we received some odd looks and comments about how loud our kids were from other residents. We did not find free beach access near the Airbnb, just rocky areas and private property. We had beach and pool access at nearby restaurant/bar La Buena Vida which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed Lol•Ha Snack Bar and free beach access at Akumal Bay.

I loved my stay! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Fer gave a ton of recommendations and was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the stay and always responded quickly ! We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Amazing stay!! In a great location, very walkable and easy to get around Tulum. Loved the rooftop pool and private cinema. Would 100% recommend booking this apartment.

Miguel’s condo was absolutely exceptional!!! Beach access through the beach club was extremely easy and the beach area was amazing!!! Snorkeling was magical with all the beautiful sea life! Everything was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and we felt like we were the only ones there! We would without hesitation book again with Miguel!!

We absolutely fell in love with this space, and Akumal. The jungle setting and view was stunning. We enjoyed walking across the street to the beach, playing in the waves and searching the tide pools for treasures and creatures. The kids loved the pool time, (all the pools). Casey thought of absolutely everything one would need to make a relaxing fun vacation with a well stocked and fully equipped condo. From beach chairs, and water socks, to snorkel gear. My personal favorite was the coffee bar and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed making meals and grilling out in the common area while the kids enjoyed more pool time. Lastly, beds and linens. Absolute heaven. I’m going to be thinking about that bed for a long time. Thank you Casey for helping make our family vacation memorable and all your fantastic suggestions.

Wonderful apartment with a lot of charm!! I stayed here for a month and had planned to extend my stay. Unfortunately, the construction noise from a nearby site was quite loud. This was beyond the host’s control, but they were very accommodating and understanding. Despite the noise, the apartment itself is fantastic—very safe area, a lovely spa, and a cozy ambiance with thoughtful attention to detail. I especially appreciated the beautiful plants and the book collection. As someone who works from home, I can confirm the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Highly recommend this place!

I stayed for two months and it was a good experience for the most part. Great home and great environment as well.

We really enjoyed our month working and exploring the area from Marias place! The apartment is top floor with a private and peaceful balcony surrounded by the jungle with exotic birds and a great view of the sunset. Inside is clean, modern and appointed with everything we needed. Maria was always quick to respond and super helpful throughout our trip! A great place for long term stays! 😄

Echoing the sentiment of all the other reviews… This place is top notch. It’s clear that they’ve been operating this Airbnb for a long time and everything is taken care of exceptionally well here. Getting in and instructions are easy and clear. Communication is fast, friendly, and clear. The beds are incredibly comfortable with premium bedding. Most unique for Tulum: it’s quiet and it feels home-like (unlike many of the other places here that feel like sterile rental properties).

Beautiful place that was wonderful to stay at with my family. A short (and inexpensive) collectivo ride to Centro as well further north to many beaches.

Absolutely loved the apartment and the neighborhood. Gorgeous apartment! Everything in the apartment is very high quality. Loved the large sofa and that there is so much seating the in the living room so we could all relax together in the evenings. Has a washer that is also a dryer, plus a drying rack. The private rooftop is beautiful and relaxing. We loved that all windows and doors had screens so we could enjoy the natural breeze. Tons of great restaurants on the main street of the neighborhood within 10 minutes walking. Very safe, we walked at night too. 15 minutes drive to Tulum Ruins and Tulum Beach, very convenient. Roads inside neighborhood are rough so be careful if driving. Many nice common areas in the building. Comes with a parking spot in underground garage which was helpful. Have someone that works there walk you up to apartment, not just tell you how to get there, all sections of the complex look alike. You will not regret booking this place!

What a gem of a condo! The building is beautiful, pool is stunning and everything was peaceful, safe and very comfortable. Best way to get around the area is by bicycle (we rented electric bikes from Twist and Glide for not much more than pedal bikes. This gave us access to all of Tulum!) The location of our condo was so easy to find no matter where we ventured off to! Gustavo was fantastic at communication. Helped us with everything we needed very promptly. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would! Looking forward to my next trip to Tulum! Beautiful area, wonderful airbnb host!

Would easily stay here again. It was low season so it was quiet but the place was just as the pictures. There was a small ant infestation, but nothing that can’t be taken care of. The hosts were super responsive and check in was super easy. I’d recommend this place to my friends and I hope to come back and stay there again. Super safe and good community vibes. Loved riding my electric scooter around the neighbourhood

This place was a jungle oasis in a secure complex in Aldea Zama (10 mins drive to the downtown center, 10 mins drive to the beach zone/clubs & a 25 min drive to Akumal Bay to swim with the sea turtles)! Looks like the photos (although the pool does need to be cleaned often of leaves), and it was gorgeously decorated, well maintained, clean and very spacious for two people (the beds were extremely comfortable. The front patio was very spacious, relaxing & private and the pool was very refreshing when the sun came out. The small back patio off of the bedroom was nice to sit on in the morning as well. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as the birds start quite early and are loud, but it is to be expected in a tropical paradise. The location was great (7/11 and some shops and places to eat were across the street from the entry gate and more cafe's/smoothie bars/restaurants were a 10 min walk down the street) but you do need a car /atv/scooter to get around for sure.

Very nice apartment and the private rooftop and pool are a big plus! The place was just as advertised and clean. The common areas are also quite nice and the store downstairs is really convenient. We had breakfast every morning on the rooftop and it was perfect :) Just like they say in the description, the location is a bit remote and you definitely need a car. My partner got to Tulum 2 days later than me because of flight cancellation so I did not have a car initially and it was complicated to get by. They had bikes downstairs to rent but somehow they didn't have the keys and couldn't rent me one, and the taxis are very expensive (they charged me 350 pesos for the 2 km to the beach). Walking is not fun (or safe) because the road is very busy and there is no sidewalk. However, with the car the location is great - quiet and only 5 minutes from the beach and Tulum Centro. I highly recommend this accomodation and will hopefully come back!
