Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

On point. The house was stocked with everything you need for a really enjoyable time. Location second to none. Made for a very relaxing holiday to recharge for the time ahead. Thank you for opening your home up to us. We would love to come back. Doggies say thank you too 🤗

What a beautiful place, it is well equipped, lovely and clean and comfortable. The views are wonderful and having the spa on the deck was such a treat. I would highly recommend staying here for families, friends or couples. The house layout works really well with the bedrooms at either end of the living space.

This roomy, comfortable house, located near water and across from a nature preserve, is perfect for either big-city folk looking for a relaxing getaway or international travelers looking to kick back as a respite from hectic sightseeing. Built high, with living spaces on the second-story, this house gives you the illusion of being in a ship’s wheelhouse, plunging through the reserve’s rolling green landscape. Recent renovations deliver a gleaming, white bathroom with soaking tub and an expansive kitchen and counter bar outfitted with top-notch appliances. Decorated with a pleasing sense of design, with potted plants growing verdantly. Comfortable lounge furniture. Housewares of all kinds. Primo barbecue/dining pavilion out back. Attractive landscaping. This is the rare place that not only lives up to its pictures but is better. A possible downside for tourists: The house is 20 minutes outside Kerikeri, so not near the “sights.” Then again, this place is its own experience.

Incredible stay. The house has everything you could need and more. The outdoor deck is beautiful with a view everyday to match. The location is so lovely, quiet, remote with plenty to do. My whole family was very comfortable here the whole time, loved every second.

Sally and Kevin’s lovely place was just what we needed at the end of a very fast-paced and active trip. There was plenty to do (hikes, beach, kayak, diving one hour away), or we could just enjoy looking at the water in stunning surroundings. They were very responsive and proactive, we felt truly welcome. We will always remember the peaceful time we spent here, as we absorbed the trip of a lifetime in friendly and beautiful New Zealand. Simply the best location. We had beautiful weather so spend the days lying out front hosting family. A step or two to the beach for a swim in the tropical water - high tide the best. House had everything we needed and more . A small/cozy space, plenty enough for drinks and games when the sun goes down. Hosts very helpful, highly recommend.

Ross's place was perfect for a family holiday. Great little towns nearby with good cafes and markets. Beautiful beaches. Snorkelling. Kayaking. Not too far out of Auckland. The hosts were very responsive and flexible and even offered us a late checkout and another nights' stay as the place wasn't booked the following day.

We absolutely loved our stay here, we had a large group staying across the two houses. The setting is very peaceful, the view was incredible and the lawn was perfect for games. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tides Inn. The peaceful surroundings, easy access walks, swimming, and use of kayaks when the tide was in, all made out stay in this very homely place very relaxing and restful. The pantry was well stocked and we appreciated the gift bag on arrival very much.

From the beginning till end, I felt right at home and was warmly welcomed by Chris, the owner. She gave me really helpful info about the Mangawhai Art Trail on that weekend which was awesome. The 'Cosy Cove Cottage was easy to find & just so lovely. I got to feed the alpacas & meet Charlie (wee dog) & Lewis (girl cat) one morning. I was also lucky to see inside Chris' cool Art Studio too 💗 Thanks so much for an awesome stay Chris & I can highly recommend your gorgeous place. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Linda’s place is beautifully organised and very clean. Lovely starry nights there. I didn’t explore the surrounds as I was too busy helping set up for my sons wedding, etc. next time I’m in Rangitane I’ll visit her studio 🩵

You can’t go wrong with this sweet 2 bedroom home. It felt like home. It was completely comfortable and perfect for what we needed. The grounds are amazing and lit up at night. Yummy fruits to snack on. Oh! And the wonderful items left for breakfast. Diane is so kind and helpful. We could not be more happy to have stumbled on this fabulous Airbnb.

Absolutely loved our stay here, very private and Belinda and Phil were so friendly and helpful. Was a great little space for some relaxation time in Mangawhai. Close drive to nearby shops and some walking distance too! Would love to come back when it’s sunny and stay in this great spot. John was exceedingly friendly and quick to respond to us throughout the process. We were two Americans traveling by the seat of our pants, and even though this was probably the fourth Airbnb we contacted in our search of the area, we could not have chosen a better place to spend our time in the Bay of Islands. Location was fabulous both for the location and view, as well as for the simple amenities provided. Thanks so much!

Sean and Becs are outstanding hosts, and the cabin (particularly it's location) exceeded our expectations. We are walking Te Araroa and stopped here for a rest day- so had no vehicle. Sean was more than happy to take us to the shops (5km away) when they were heading that way and dropped us back to the trail when we left. They offered us veges from the garden, helpful advice and were all 'round great hosts and really nice people. The location is amazing and not mentioned much in the listing- the cabin looks out over a grapevines and a sloping lawn to the harbour. It's peaceful and relaxing, and the shower (in a small separate cabin ) is excellent. We didn't use the sauna but it is located right on the waters edge. Highly recommended!

Just one night at Kevin's and John's spectacular cabin with the best view on the Pahia bay. The cabin has been built by Kevin and John (you will find in the bedroom the cutest booklet showcasing the project development) and has everything you need for a great stay in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Everything has been built, furnished and decorated to provide a warm environment, especially for couples. Kevin and John are extremely welcoming and a few steps from the cabin if you need help. Needless to say, that the next time we will plan a trip to the area Kevin and John are at the top of our list for our accomodation preferences. Great job!!!
