A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

Sarah’s place was our home away from home. It was just perfect for 3 couples visiting Whangarei for a sporting event and Sarah couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We had a fantastic time at Gordons beautiful place. We got greeted with a very warm and personal welcome and it was very easy to communicate with Gordon. The house is perfect for children, but even us adults had fun with all the different games. The location is perfect, we prepared a BBQ and watched a stunning sunset from the terrace. The beach is one of the most beautiful ones I have seen. I can highly recommend the house

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

This is an absolutely fantastic location. We particularly enjoyed the large dining table, piano with sheet music (Beatles), the games in the lounge. The beach is great, there is a natural seam of fossilised wood in the cliff face, though the current is pretty strong if you’re swimming. Being able to watch the sunset over the Tasman sea from the front deck was really special.

Beautiful apartment in a private location with spectacular views. Very clean and spacious, with comfy beds, and the kitchen was particularly well-stocked. Easy walk down to the beach. Excellent communication by Maree throughout.

Beautiful secluded air bnb in a prime spot. The house looked exactly like the pictures 😊 quick and responsive communication as well which helped a lot. Would highly recommend and will book again when I head back up. Thank you again x

We have stayed many times at Comfort on Cobham. We highly recommend this beautifully appointed home surrounded by gardens, orchard and immense green lawn. The house is spacious and well set up for any length of stay. It's in walking distance of vibrant and charming downtown Kerikeri. Carolyn and Chris are excellent hosts and we look forward to our next stay with them.

Wow what a delightful little pocket of serene paradise. Coming from the city and fast lane of hustle and bustle this place was definitely a slice of heaven. Thank you so much Gordy and Carol. The communication was awesome. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet you in person however your beautiful little retreat says it all about you both. Just a little side comment not that it mattered the internet wasn’t up due to previous ones who had played around with the settings. Yet the communication was on point. Would I stay there again? Of course I would and would recommend this to anyone🙌

Wonderful location overlooking the pacific. A had bath at main level would have been helpful. Washer dryer took a long time. Updating them would be helpful.

A nice and modest studio apartment with a fantastic view and a great bed. Just a few steps to the beach. The beach is a tidal beach (so no waves), the water is clear. There were no other people there, so peaceful and quiet. Don’t expect too much luxury, but the price is according and great value. Very friendly hosts that helped us out (thanks for the nespresso machine!).

My mum lives in Ruakaka so Tony and Nora’s is a great spot for us to stay. Comfy bed, good shower, very private and great views. If you are couple we highly recommend this place.

A beautiful apartment right in the Opua Marina. The view of the boats was peaceful. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and super-clean. We had everything we needed for our six-night stay. It’s a short drive to Pahia, and the car ferry makes getting to Russell easy. The hiking track from Opua to Pahia is fantastic. The Marina has a great cafe (live music on Sunday night), a well-stocked general store with pizza and ice cream, and a great take-away spot with fish and chips, burgers, etc. If you’re looking for crazy night life, this isn’t for you. But if you looking for a lovely apartment in a peaceful setting with fantastic views, book it!

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

This is not just accommodation; it's#a first class experience that inspires & rejuvenates! It was hard to leave!

Vicki hosted me, my partner and our cat as I had business to attend to in Whangārei. The place was just as described in the listing with clear instructions and prompt communication which suited our needs. Vicki was also understanding of our travel arrangements and was able to accomodate our added request which I appreciated. I didn't get a chance to write in the visitor's book but I sure would've shared the same positive feedback. A highlight for me was seeing a kererū in the tree (which I don't get to see in Auckland). Our cat had a blast and was settled.

Margaret and Glen were perfect hosts. Their place is spectacular, with views that are hard to beat. The only down side was that our stay was too short.
