Ingrid og Tommy var fantastisk verter, veldig service minded. De tok imot oss på Altneset hurtigbåt kai, ønsket oss velkommen og kjørte oss til Bestefar huset på Hakkstabben. Der hadde de sørget for at brød, egg og troll krabbe, som vi hadde bestilt, var på plass. Bestefar huset var veldig koselig og innholdsrikt, alt vi trengte av utstyr for å tilberede et godt måltid. Ingrid og Tommy var veldig hjelpsomme verter, de sørget for båt og bil skyss når vi hadde behov for det. Dette er stedet for å senke skuldrene og vi kommer nok tilbake. We had a fantastic trip to Alta and William’s house was the perfect base for our adventures. The house is clean, modern and spacious and in a nice quiet area. Our hosts were always helpful and responsive to any questions, giving good advice for places to visit. Highly recommended

Really good, lovely place in the main house. In the middle of nowhere, but you’re still surrounded by a peaceful neighbourhood. I love it! Everything looked beautiful & good. We got clear instructions and it’s east to find as well. A cozy getaway for us.

A perfect stay! We had an amazing stay at Katarina’s place. Everything was perfect, and we truly felt at home. The accommodation was cozy, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. The location was exceptional, with the Alta River nearby, offering a peaceful and stunning environment. Katarina was a wonderful host, always available and welcoming. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Where do I even begin... If there was an option with 1000 stars I would give 1000 stars. So amazing. The house is just awesome, it has everything and more. It's spotless, cozy and nicely furnished. The nature surrounding it something you don't see every day. So peaceful and serene. There are many different birds in the area, reindeer and bunnies. It's great for birdwatching and hiking. Wherever you look, you see a postcard scene. This island is so beautiful, I almost don't wanna tell anybody about it, so it remains pure as it is. Me and my dog had the best time ever and even the dog was sad to go. Beathe is such a lovely host, she picked me up upon arrival and was there, answering in seconds when I had any questions. Really the perfect host. Her aunt and uncle even brought my heavy backpack to the harbor upon my departure. What I really liked about this island is, everyone was Norwegian, so it wasn't full of tourists, it was truly Norwegian experience. I think I acceded the amount of w

Sehr schöne, moderne Blockhütte. Auf einem Hügel gelegen, mit Aussicht. Die bequemsten Betten auf unserer Reise und die schönsten Nordlichter durften wir am See unten bestaunen. Einziger Nachteil jetzt im Winter war, die schmale Strasse zum Haus die etwas eisig war und unser Mietwagen hatte leichte Probleme hochzukommen.

Very nice cottage for a christmas getaway. Mette made sure we had everything we could need, the accomodation was clean and nicely prepared.
