Renee's place was great and my group of friends really enjoyed our winter stay. The cottage was modern and cozy, and the views were great from both decks. We had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well equipt with pots & pans of various sizes, cutlery, and dishes which was a welcomed surprise. The amount of beds really came in handy with a larger group, and they were comfy with clean sheets. The location was great for us as we were there to ice fish so didn't really need any entertainment or amenities, but there's really no grocery stores or shops around so make sure you bring everything you need. The driveway just fit 3 SUV's but we needed to manoeuvre the cars to get them to fit and getting them out was a bit of a struggle as the driveway is a little steep and slippery when iced over. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again!

Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

We are so happy with our stay! The property was beautiful and the amenities were an added bonus. We mainly booked this location because we needed something that was wheelchair accessible and this home absolutely meet all our needs. Door were wide enough for the wheelchair, beds were high so we could get a lift under to make transferring to and from the wheelchair possible. It was also easy to get in and out of the home with a wheelchair. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was also great communication before and after our stay. We felt right at home and the location was wonderful for a stay in PEC. We plan to go back again!

Our second time staying with Jenny, just as good as the first! Perfect house for large groups. Jenny is great to deal with and always quick to respond. Great location if you would like to stay close to PEC.

I don't know where to start! Steph and her family supported us in our tough time when we had to leave our prevous airbnb due to safety issues. She accomodated us with short notice while we were stuck in a storm and didn't have anywhere to go with 3 little kids. she was so kind and nice to us, warmed up the place before we get there and gave us clear instructions on where to find what we needed. This was a really great experience and she is a real angel with all the support during the family weekend and we ended up having a great time for the rest of our trip!Their place is spacious and it has a mesmerizing view even in wintertime,can't imagine how cool would be the view in summer time! Definitely recommand this place and the hosts to everyone!

Wonderful fall weekend at Leah’s place with a small group of women. The home is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into the details - we commented all weekend on everything from the artwork to the light fixtures to the rugs to the well-appointed kitchen! The property is stunning, especially in the fall - beautiful view of a quiet lake, large deck, dock, and outdoor firepit area. Appreciated that firewood was supplied and we loved the kayaks! We enjoyed the cozy living room. Lots of space for 5 of us. Close to Bon Echo for hiking and directions were clear so space was easy to find. Highly recommend for any small group getaways!

I was looking for a quiet and cozy place to escape to for a few days in middle of the winter where I could sit by a fire, write and relax. Stephen’s cottage went beyond what is listed. The decor and details are part of the charm. The place is a gem from top to bottom. Clean, well stocked and updated with many thoughtful experiences from family games and videos that would make BlockBuster proud. Older generations would understand. Stephen was always very prompt answering any questions before my stay and while I was there. He is a gracious host and it shows with everything that he has thoughtful included in the rental of this amazing four season cottage. We look forward to our next visit.

This was a lovely getaway. Kevin was so easy to communicate with and the place was in good shape. We had just had a pretty serious snowfall and the time was taken to not only plow the driveway but clear all decking, stairs and even the walk to the hot tub. I can’t tell you how much appreciated that was! The ability to bring our pups was also very appreciated. They highly enjoyed the group of turkeys that took a tour down the driveway while we were there! We’ll be renting again.

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

our stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge was great! it was such a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and wildlife. We had an issue with the tv the first night and it was fixed the next morning once we had let the host know! The welcome package and videos included were super helpful for getting to know the property and how to use the wood stove. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived but that was an easy fix and about where the list of downsides ends. I would definitely recommend booking this place for a nice getaway!

Great location for a winter get away. Two small towns 15 minutes away where you can get anything you need. Felt like home. Beautiful forest setting All amenities that any house has and more, including a lovely glass front wood stove. I do enjoy the feel of wood heat, makes life cozier. The cottage has Roku and.a 35 inch TV which is good, but personally i would like a bigger TV as i found it difficult for me to see without my glasses. The internet i tested was about 7-8 mps, adequate for streaming 1 person. 4 thumbs up for this place. If the two of us had 5 thumbs it would be 5 thumbs up. Good on you Linda and thank you so much. Michelle was an amazing host, very communicative and proactive. Her place was the perfect and quiet family getaway on a pristine waterfront property. The house was spacious, bright and incredibly clean and very well stocked. We were very impressed by how modern and homely her place was. It was incredibly easy to navigate and use the space. Our two pups really enjoyed their stay as well.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin where we spent two days remote working and a weekend (internet connection is reliable). It is peaceful, we saw some little animals outside the cabin like a rabbit and a deer. Snowhoes are available to explore the domain and there is an access to the lake. It is beautiful, recharging and very homy. Thank you Magret
