The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Tucked along the quiet northern edge of Antioch, this house doesn’t just offer a place to stay - it gives you something to feel. Vaulted ceilings, custom barnwood beds, and raw concrete countertops set the tone: warm, solid, and built with intent. The private beach isn’t flashy - it’s better. Soft sand, still water, and no reason to rush. Grill outside, gather at the big family-style table, then sweat it all out in the sauna that feels like it was made to erase stress. The beds hit the sweet spot between firm and forgiving. Every corner of the place feels curated without being pretentious. Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

Alex is a great host! Dog friendly places are hard to find and his place made my dog feel super comfortable. Love this place and definitely will be back.

When my parents come to visit, they stay here whenever possible. The hosts are very responsive and made the check in and check out process seamless. The home itself is very well-maintained and has board games and things for little kids to do. There are clear instructions (with pictures!) to use the gas fireplace and the grill. This is such a great place to stay and the neighborhood is nice and quiet, perfect for a family or an older couple!

Truly a nice stay! The house is within a convenient 5-10 minute walk of Libertyville's downtown, which boasts a ton of restaurants/bars and boutiques. The only noteworthy thing to mention to future stays is that this is a considerably older (renovated) home, so there are some insulation issues. For instance, the master bedroom on the first floor (with its door shut) was easily 10 degrees warmer at night than it was in the common spaces of the house. Additionally, the kitchen was notably, but not considerably cooler than the rest of the house - I assume this was due to the door that led out to the back of the house. All-in-all, a great stay that easily accommodated our party of 5.

We had a great stay during our time in town visiting family over Christmas! The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed during our time there. It was great having a dedicated parking spot in the back. Super clean bathroom, plenty of clean linens, nice shower. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in town!

Need to spend a night in the Racine/Kenosha area and stumbled upon this gem! There were four of us and our little dog and it was perfect. I think each of us said, “it’s too bad we’re not staying for another night!” The pictures don’t really do it justice but Mindy’s house is homey, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy, and the backyard/river view is wonderful. Thank you Mindy!

Will had the home very well prepared. and stacked with the essentials. He even had delivered all we needed to grill for our son who graduated from boot camp & was starving for a home cooked meal. The neighborhood is beautiful & felt safe. We will definitely come back to this home on our next vacation.

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Noam was very communicative and friendly. His cabin was cozy and everything I wanted. He had disc golf on the property as well as a beautiful private lake. We will definitely be back next year and highly recommend this spot!

Great house with all the amenities for a wonderful family vacation. Enough room for 10 people to enjoy comfortably. Definitely would recommend!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

Debbie’s place is perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. We came to Lake Geneva to bring in the New Year with two other couples and it was a Perfect getaway! We cooked a feast on Jan. 1 and were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen. This place is great, highly recommend!

The pictures don’t do this place any justice… beautiful home and great amenities provided like linens and towels. Plenty of activities, great for families or a group of friends.

great place and I loved being able to bring our dogs. they loved the gated yard to run around in while we chilled in the hot tub. we'd love to visit sometime in the summer to check out more of the lake activities.

We looked at a few other places but are so glad we chose Monica's lakehouse. It's simply gorgeous, close to everything and well laid out with so much space. Our whole group loved it, and my mom and kids said it was their favorite AirBNB ever. It's near everything and honestly worth every penny. We played pool, cooked every day, rented the hot tub, took walks in the snow with our dog, and even went snow tubing at Wilmot. The whole house is recently updated, and just the perfect place for a large family. Monica even helped us with a Christmas tree and decorations, and groceries and shopping are just down the street. We also loved Antioch Pizza, which delivered super fast. There was everything we could possibly need for our winter holiday. We plan to come back in the summer now, to check out those kayaks and fully enjoy the lakefront Boathouse

The little blue bungalow was the perfect getaway for a weekend! We are new to the Midwest and enjoyed a snowy picturesque weekend at Chelsea and Cale’s awesome place. Very cute decor, environmentally friendly, lovely hosts and great location. We’ll have to come back in the summer sometime!

I think this was my fav Airbnb yet. Convenient, very clean and a great kitchen! My dog enjoyed the backyard and the neighborhood was nice. My family of 8 people stayed in Craig's place for 8 days and we really enjoyed our stay there. Craig is very hospital and my sisters like to cook and he has provided us with all the necessary cooking utesils, big refrigilator and a big stove and really big micrawave oven. We hosted a few meals for friends and we had a good time there. It is a great place for big group of people. I wish there will be more mirrors in the room so that ladies can do the make up in the rooms rather than the bathrooms as there is only 1.5 bathrooms. We need a scale and Craig ordered it right away. I am impressed. Street parking is free and there is also a reserved parking at the back, very convenient. 我和家人住在八天，感觉不错，煤气炉很给力。冰箱超大，适合家庭居住。
