I loved staying with Christine. She was so welcoming and warm and I felt right at home! The room was lovely, quiet and clean, as was the whole house. I would highly recommend staying here. It's also an easy bus ride/drive away from the famous Beamish museum!

That's the place you'd like to find when you finish the day....sooo lovely! Very nice home and super kind hosts. And also wonderful and rich breakfast. TOP!!!!

Thank you for having me! Nadia was a great host, she has a really calming and friendly energy, I absolutely loved the care and love she put into her home and how inviting it is. The little hints of her personality and femininity really stood out to me and made me feel at ease. Of course, I can’t forget to mention Bo - the IT girl ✨ I had the best time, really comfortable bed and privacy, very local to both the city centre and shops, easy to get to the seaside. I also appreciate the flexibility when I needed to extend my stay for 1 more night at a very last minute. Thank you for being so lovely Nadia, I wish you and Bo the best of luck with your next adventure!

From even before we arrived at the house richard was on the phone to make sure we were all ok and greeted us on arrival. House was beautiful and richard gave us a tour of the house and showed us where everything was had all facilities we needed and were told to help ourselves to teas coffes croissant biscuits toilitres etc everything you can think of and need richard had for us he even drove us all in and out of the city multiple times nothing was an issue. Would definitely visit again and i think we can all say we are going to miss Richard as he was just the best 👌

Ruime kamers, waar je ook kunt zitten, maar daarnaast kun je ook gebruik maken van de keuken en de eetkamer. Er zijn veel regels, maar daar staat tegenover dat de gasten erg hun best doen. Goed verblijf

Wow, what a great studio. The ensuite bedroom is fantastic and the bath is so luxurious. The kitchen has everything you need and the lounge is lovely and relaxing. Just a short stroll and you are in the centre of Hexham for bars, cafes and restaurants. It's also a great base for exploring g the wider Northumberland countryside. We will definitely be looking to return again soon. Thanks for hosting us.

I booked as a treat for my mum and myself as a Mother’s Day surprise! The process of booking, the venue and hosting couldn’t have been any better - just brilliant! Stunning rooms and decor, gorgeous location, the views and walk around the area were a dream. Zoe was so welcoming and we really felt we could relax and enjoy. Highly recommend! Great place to stay before doing the Great North Run. Spacious, clean and quiet flat, with parking and about 15mins walk to Metro station.

One of the nicest apartments we’ve stayed at through AirBnB. Great light in the living room, lots of space and big kitchen. Having two bathrooms with toilets was super convenient with multiple people staying. Already booked another visit.

Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Joyce's lovely home. She kindly offered me a lift from the station and I appreciated the plentiful items provided for breakfast. The guest's sitting/dining area makes for a very comfortable stay. I will definitely consider booking with Joyce again when visiting this delightful old town in the future. The area is absolutely beautiful and there are plenty of nice places to eat the town including a Buchon a French bistro and Saathi an Indian restaurant recommended to me by Joyce which was excellent.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding at a local venue, was 10 mins away and easy enough to book a cab to get there. Very clean, friendly staff (lad on his first day did a great job) and in one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K. I’ve ever visited. Portable heater in the room was very very useful as well and easy enough to figure out. Staff even returned an item I left in the room after checking out before I left, which I was really grateful for.

I had a really lovely stay; I was visiting my daughter and chatting with Rosie added an unexpected very pleasant element to my weekend. I can highly recommend as the place was cosy, clean and full of small touches that made me feel more like a member of the family than a paying guest. Rosie cooks a brilliant breakfast and had made a fresh fruit salad for me too ! Having the whole top floor was a treat as I could relax and not worry I was disturbing anyone. Wonderful !!

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Gorgeous house and a lovely couple! Tania’s place was beautifully decorated, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. Communication was great throughout, and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again!
