Dawn is a lovely host with a beautiful, warm, cosy and clean home. The garden and pets are just adorable. We had a wonderful break and made good use of the pool. There are so many castles and beautiful gardens located a short drive away. Great place for families. I will be recommending this flat and hosts to my friends.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Our second visit to Gaynors place and it was even better than the first. Everything was perfect. I could not recommend it more. Although I hesitate to as it means it might be booked next time I try to book.

Felt at home right away and i would have stayed a lot longer if possible.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Paddock. It’s in a very central position to explore beautiful Northumbria while being in a quiet and peaceful location in the countryside. Our host Maureen was very friendly and helpful. The Paddock was clean, decorated beautifully and suited us very well. There were a few kitchen items which Maureen provided when we asked for them. We would highly recommend the Paddock as a place to stay. Jim and Anne

lovely apartment and thoroughly well appointed. we loved using the large kitchen table for playing board games Great location within walking distance and pubs, restaurants and amenities High ceilings and original features gives this apartment real character. Good to have secure free parking. Lots of space

My mum, sister a mnd I had a fantastic stay. The pictures really did not do it justice. It was well decorated and had everything you would need and more! Once I had downloaded the app it was easy to get inside. The car charger was great and again easy to use. Although it is right next to the railway crossing this didnt disturb us. It was a short walk into the village along a quiet lane and once there there were a number of paths to run and walk through a conservation area past lakes and lots of wildlife. It was also easy to get to the coast and other areas of interest. We wished we could have stayed for longer than one night. There was a lot of tech in the house which we didn't need to use but I'm sure others would enjoy. We had a lovely quiet night and would love to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newbiggin. The house is a great base to explore the north east and we had days out to Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle, Cragside, Lindesfarne and Newcastle. There is so much to explore in that area - our kids didn’t want to leave! The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Nikki communicated promptly and personally and was a great host. The house was a 5 minute walk from the beach and there was a superb chippy nearby (the Front) which was so good we went twice! It was a bonus to have an overnight electric car charge point at the end of the road. Thank you - I imagine we will return!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. It's so peaceful, with lots of birds and wildlife. A short drive from Amble which is lovely. We felt really at home and had a great time!

Absolutely fantastic host, very responsive to our messages and was very flexible to accommodate our very late check in. Very understanding as we booked under difficult circumstances. Lovely spacious house and in immaculate condition.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

We had a fabulous stay here and felt very at home. Everything you could want was available in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped and cleaning stuff available if needed. The neighbourhood was very quiet but near local amenities and sea front. I would highly recommend staying here if your visiting friends or family or looking for a getaway for a few days. The hosts were friendly and available if needed.

What a stunning place this is, we absolutely loved our short stay here! Everything in The Kennels is finished to an extremely high standard and the log burner is outstanding (plenty of logs provided too)!! We really appreciated the information provided by Tessa regarding the local area, we really felt that she’d gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable, including the house being lovely and warm on arrival. Cannot rate highly enough!
