We had an amazing stay at Lijie’s place. Beautifully decorated, spacious & very comfortable; centrally located. Lijie was very warm & welcoming, as was her spouse Kostas. And at their restaurant Albion, right next door, we enjoyed some absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend this wonderful place, a home away from home, & we would choose it again next time we are in Sunderland!

Could have done with being a bit cleaner especially under the bed , toilet seat needs replacing and bathroom sink tap to tighten but overall decent for a night or weekends stay. Pubs check-in computer could do with updating or leaving switched on as we had to wait for it to warm up before being able to check-in. The rooms central heating radiator goes cold / off at 11pm which isn’t the best if your up later than that , maybes on the pubs CH timer but could really do with being on all night especially in the winter/colder months. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short in the end but we were so impressed with the place we are already talking about coming back. Comfy bed. Friendly staff and easy check in/check out. Nice spacious and clean room with an amazing view of the sea when stepping out the hotel in the morning. Thanks for having us and see you again 🙂

Great service, friendly and helpful - I will come back to Bentley's and have already recommended Bentley's to friends. It's an amazing place to stay especially as a solo visitor to Newcastle wanting a single room rate. There is a social area where you can make a drink+ prep food downstairs as well as a cafe for breakfast and a small space upstairs so we'll cateted for. everything was clean, the room is small and basic but well planned and not cluttered. Just perfect!

Stacey is very good at making your stay enjoyable. Communication was very good
