George is a wonderful host and explained all the housing stuff clearly, very good hospitality overall. Great man to discuss all the subjects and stayed a short period, its worth to be for it.

Peaceful and accommodating

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

My cousin and her parents came for my graduation and loved the place. They felt at home and had all the things needed for them.

First of all unfortunately i didn't get a chance to meet Sheila as she was out of the country at the time of my visit. I would have really liked to have met her. The location of Sheilas apartment was perfect for me as it was close to the metro and the bus to and from Newcastle were only meters away. The room itself is really large and bright and there was many comfortable seating options. The bed was so comfortable and i slept so well during the 10 nights that I stayed there. Jesmond is a very well to do area of Newcatle and there are a variety a shops, pubs and restaurants near by. I will definitely stay here again the next time that i am visiting Newcastle and I hope that next time I actually get a chance to meet Sheila in person.

I felt at home immediately. I unfortunately had to leave earlier than I'd hoped, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and it's owners to anyone. They were responsive and flexible and understanding with my changing timeframe. If I needed to come back, it's be top of my list. Thank you again. Rich

This is a great flat in a central location, handy for public transport and plenty of eating and drinking options. This is the second time I've stayed and would highly recommend it as a brilliant base for the coast and Newcastle. Matthew is an excellent, responsive host and dealt with a problem of my making with generosity and kindness.

It is difficult to rate the experience at the property without heavily referencing Syed as a host. This was my first guest experience at an Airbnb and it has proved to be a fantastic way to start. I had certain challenges when it came to the trip and Syed was highly communicative and more than accommodating to a degree that I fully recognize was beyond his scope as a host. From a late check-in, to needing to stay longer than anticipated due to a storm, to extending my stay multiple times. Syed had been calm, industrious amd welcoming in all facets. Every question i asked was answered and any challenge was swiftly addressed. I had his number to call and he would reply as promptly as possible. Suggestions for exploration of the area was answered with the knowledge that only a seasoned local can provide. It was a pleasure to stay at the property and enjoy the area for as long as I was there. Truly hoping a host like this is not a rarity! Refreshingly pleasant experience. Many thanks

You can't grumble at the price for this place. Allows you to live independently and privately but keeping you close to transport, amenities and almost any supermarket you want is walking distance. I'd stay here again.

I have been hosted by Cristina for the entire month of March. She truly has been a lovely host, her place and the room made me feel comfortable in Newcastle from the beginning of my journey. Although it's outside the city it is very manageable to reach the centre and also the sea. Definitely recommended

I loved my stay at William's. The property was very safe, very central and I was able to walk to every place of interest. The room was warm, clean and very well planned out for long term stays. Of the 57 days I stayed there I experienced no problems and only twice did I hear any late night noise from other guests which didn't continue long enough to be an issue. All the facilities were in good condition and as described. There is an abundance of toilets & bathrooms and they are all marked out well. I especially appreciated the women's bathrooms and consideration that William has given to ensure every guest feels safe. Apart from the actual bedrooms, all other lighting was automatic using sensors which was really handy. The cleaning & maintenance team do a great job. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Sunderland

This is a great stay - comfortable and warm with lots of space, particularly in the kitchen. Suzanne can’t do enough for you. Big parking area, if a little hard to find in the dark!

Friendly host, and always responded when I had a question. Place was nice and clean.
