Dr. Maitreyee’s home stay was one of the best places we stayed during our 3 week trip throughout India. The host and co-hosts were super responsive and took care of everything for us to have a comfortable stay. I really liked the fact that the house is away from noisy streets. Dr. Maitreyee, David and Raja were very responsive and helpful with recommendations. They have an art shop, worth taking a look at it and learn how they keep this intricate tradition alive. The place is comfortable, enough and even plenty of hot water and the beds are comfortable. They even provide with some water and few snacks! I would definitely recommend to any guest!

Great hospitality of Mr Laxman Singh. Very nice, neat and clean place with big rooms. Good view from balcony and terrace. Definitely worth going for it. Food is bit costly.

Photos given online don’t do justice. We loved every minute of our stay here. So don’t think twice and book it if you want to relax and have a serene and quiet place. Since it is not in the middle of the city chaos, we absolutely loved staying here. In fact, traveling to city to any other place was not an issue at all. Cabs/Ola/uber was easily available. We loved their food as well; they always cooked whatever we asked for - be it heavy or light food. The entire staff was also so courteous and soft spoken. Paradise for book lovers as you get so many books to choose from, along with great location, quiet surroundings with only sounds of chirping birds, peacock and other little animals. They have a cute little dog Olive and four turtles 😍. I am sure we will come back here again. Just the kind of place we love!!

Jai Villa HomeStay....Indeed a home away from home. As we reached Udaipur, our booking got cancelled for some reason & they came in as a blessing in disguise. What impressed us was the interiors and how thoughtfully the place has been built up! The view from the terrace is breath-taking and it was amazing to have spend quality time with our pet up there especially during the sunset time!The hospitality and the warmth of our hosts Devendraji and Uma ji was out of the world. We travel the country & today we can proudly say, "We have a home now @Udaipur!" All Thanks to our gracious hosts:)

The hotel located in strategic places and close to most of the attractions and shops. The room is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for those visiting Udaipur.

The property is located 4-5 kms from the city center but is very peaceful.There is a lake at a walking distance, good for morning jog. Though the rooms are compact, they're neat, there's ample of space in the lobby to chill around with a group of friends. The owner (Mr. Singhi) and caretaker (Rajendra) were very cooperative. We had a comfortable stay! We would like to recomend for future stays.

One of the best decisions to stay at Oolala. As a solo traveller, I wanted to rely more on the reviews, and I must say, it was all perfect! The caretaker Manish is extremely polite and respectful. Jitu and Lovely have always been so responsive throughout, I felt sooo comfortable while speaking with them and my check-in experience was really great. Highly recommend their place. The location is perfect!

Replicating the review from our concurrent booking here: - Location is excellent, it's very accessible to all the prime tourist spots but also in its own secluded area so you can enjoy your view in peace. - The property itself is quite old fashioned, but it has its own vintage charm and the listing very clearly describes what the place is like. It's very authentic to how older houses in Udaipur are constructed. -The hosts are very kind and eager to help out in any way to make our stay smooth. the housekeeper is also a very professional and helpful gentleman. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time and would love to visit again someday.

This was an exquisite Airbnb with tasteful decor all around. We mainly dealt with the host's daughter Shivika, who ensured our comfort throughout our stay. On arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a bigger and better room, on a complementary basis and we were very grateful for this! Additionally, communication was easy throughout - we pre-ordered our lunch so this would be ready when we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious and even better served on the rooftop of their boutique homestay with a gorgeous view. We unfortunately had very limited time in Udaipur but Shivika proactively provided us with recommendations on things to prioritise whilst in Udaipur and these were spot on! She also helped organise a taxi for us the following day to the airport and this was very helpful. Fantastic stay! Would definitely recommend and return! It was a shame we didn't stay longer.

Oolala HomeStay - A home away from your home. Lovely and Jitu - A super host in each and every manner. More than super host they are super duper host. Manish - Care taker of Oolala always smiling and very attentive. Lovely, Jitu and Manish all three of them are very helpful, co-operative, always ready to help, very attentive and all three always wear a smile on their face. Rooms, authentic traditional embiance and their hospitality makes our trip more beautiful. Coming back to our experience in oolala. That was absolutely mind blowing. We actually felt like we are staying at our own home in Udaipur.

I loved Shivika and her staff, what a beautiful place they have and how warmly they hosted us.This was my first bnb stay and man it was great. Even though the place is a little away from the city, that is what I loved about it, the place is located in a village, it takes around 15 mins to reach old city. It was very calm and mostly very peaceful something we don't get in our cities. Next to the house is Military containment area, so there is no lighting at night but the view from the room balcony of the Lake Pichiola and early sunrise are just worth it. I am back to work and trust me I still miss it. A special thank you to Shivika and her husband for picking us up at night from the city as it was late and we were 2 girls and were a little scared, a gesture we both are very grateful for. As I told Shivika and the property manager Jaisingh Ji, whenever I come back to Udaipur I will stay at there property. Thank you for hosting us!

Siamo arrivati e l’host ci ha accolti e ci ha mostrato la camera. Molto pulita grande tranquilla. Purtroppo non ci siamo fermati per cena. Il loro ristorante è molto bello e i piatti che abbiamo visto sembravano essere molto buoni. Colazione la mattina presto organizzata solo per noi. Ci ha accolti il marito e ci ha portato quello che volevamo ampia scelta nella colazione. Consiglio questa dimora storica. L’host ci ha contattati una volta partiti pregandoci di tornare ancora a trovarla perché suo papà avrebbe voluto incontrarci per raccontarci la storia della sua casa e la storia della città . È stato un peccato essere partiti presto. Se torneremo ancora sicuramente torneremo qui

Jyeshtha's cozy place ended up being the perfect fit and much more for my solo trip to Udaipur! My friends and I had originally booked the two units on the ground floor of the property, but because those units were undergoing renovations during the time of our stay, Jyeshtha called me and asked whether I would be comfortable with the two upper units instead and updated the listing so that I could see the photos. My friends got sick, so I ended up traveling on my own, and I absolutely loved the space! I had my own dressing room, courtyard, and en suite. Jyeshtha was most helpful in making recommendations for restaurants, tours, and shopping, and ensuring that I was comfortable touring the city on my own. Udaipur is a lovely city with lots to explore, and it is very accommodating to tourists. What I also loved and is very convenient about Jyeshtha's place is that she offers breakfast in the morning - a great way to start the day! A highly recommend, and will be back!
