We had a wonderful stay at Yu’s place in Kyoto. Please follow Yu’s instructions as the location by Apple and Google maps may show to be slightly different (location is on Yoancho and not on the pedestrian walkway). The home is completely renovated with top notch Panasonic fixtures throughout. Area is convenient on the subway line from Kyoto Stn and beautiful near Gosho (former Imperial Palace).

Nomura’s place is a gem especially for a big family like ours during vacation. Everything was so easy, organized, and even the location is the sweet spot because it’s a very peaceful neighborhood. If I would go back to Kyoto, I would try to have this airbnb again!

We loved the place, and the area is very accessible. The owner was very kind to lend us bikes, and when we noticed the tires needed air the next day, they made sure everything was ready to use. Overall, it was a great experience and stay :) We’d love to go back if given the chance again

We booked Discovery Ship last minute and it turned out to be the best surprise of our trip. The house is new, very clean, and beautifully decorated like a spaceship. Our kids loved exploring it. Kazuya is a wonderful host—great communication and very kind. He personally showed us how everything works. The location is very convenient too. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto! 最後に予約したにもかかわらず、最高の宿に出会えました。家は新しく、とても清潔で、宇宙船をテーマにした素敵なデザイン。子どもたちも大喜びでした。ホストのカズヤさんは返信が早く、親切で、到着時に設備も丁寧に説明してくれました。駅からも近く、アクセスも抜群。次に京都に来るときも、必ずここに泊まりたいと思います！

Lovely time at Kyoto House! A really fun space, mix of classic Japanese and western style. The doorways are a little low if you’re tall but really no complaints. Would stay again!

The place is really clean and comfy. Most importantly, the landlord constantly responds right away when needed.

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......

Always nice to be one of the first to stay at a brand new Airbnb. Place was very new and clean. Location was great, and lots of rooms (4!) and space for our group. Nice to have western and tatami bed options. Really nice amenities like Dyson hairdryer and clothes steamer which was very handy. Walkable to a supermarket and food options. Only thing was a lack of hooks in the bathroom and shelves to put toiletries on but I know Tabi will add those as she was very thoughtful about the other amenities there! Would definitely stay there again if I’m in Kyoto!

A lovely authentic Japanese home. Well designed with all of the essentials. A nice quiet neighborhood close to amenities and the city center.

La llegada fue muy fácil con las indicaciones que se me compartieron antes de la llegada. La estación de autobús 17 que sale de la estación de Kioto te deja muy cerca de la casa, hay que caminar muy poco para llegar, lo cual lo hace super accesible. Zhang siempre fue muy atento y amable conmigo, respondía muy rápido los mensajes y tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo, una persona muy respetuosa y atenta. La casa no tengo palabras para describirla, es una casa de ensueño, el jardín, el estanque, la casa por dentro, todo estuvo increíble. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente. Nosotros requeríamos esa ubicación porque fuimos a una convención y tiene una conexión muy sencilla con el tren y con los autobuses que conectan toda la ciudad. Sin dudarlo, volvería a elegir la casa para quedarme; es una zona muy tranquila y pasa un río muy cercano, lo cual lo vuelve aún más bello. Gracias Zhang por brindarnos tu lugar y por las atenciones. ☺️

This home is beautiful. It’s been recently renovated and it looked, felt and smelled new. The decoration and furnishings were really lovely. It’s in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes from the main shopping and sightseeing area, 10-15 minute walk to station and 3 stops to Kawaramachi markets. It comfortably fits 7 people in 3 different bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. Appliances and tableware were all high end. It doesn’t have closets in the bedrooms, just a couple of hangers, which seems to be common in Japan hotels. Shogo, our host, was very friendly, super communicative and helpful. Also very generous with his hospitality. This place is not in the middle of the busy sightseeing areas, but it’s relatively central and easy to get to places with public transport. There are also some shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Very cozy and spacious, and equipped with everything we needed.

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

周边🈶一家叫做永旺的超市和购物商场、离京都站大概步行时间在15分钟以内。按照国人的习惯，这个地方叫做弄堂里。适合全家出游或者闺蜜、兄弟一起出游。性价比高。以后有需要会继续光顾的。

Excelente localização. Casa muito bonita e tradicional, com excelentes comodidades e detalhes de requinte. O dono foi sempre muito atencioso e cooperante em tudo. Adoramos!!!

We had a short 02 nights stay, the location was near sub-way station and bus stop, which can lead directly to some attraction place. This is a traditional Japan house, fully equipped with all necessary daily needs, great experience. A Special Thanks to Mr. Takeshi on some local recommendation. Nice and memorable stay.

Great place to be with family in especially with kids. Perfect location if you plan to visit bamboo forest, monkey park and still only 20 min train ride to Kyoto station

O local é muito bem localizado, a 3min do trem, do family mart e de templos. A casa é bem tradicional e organizada. As camas são muito confortáveis. A limpeza não estava 100%, mas não impactou a viagem.

What a reprieve and gem this place is. We stated 2 nights and loved the bath house. It's about an hour taxi ride from Kyoto train station where we arrived (we stocked up on some groceries at the 7/11 next to the Taxi station) knowing there weren't options to eat nearby the lodge. We also used the car available to drive and explore on our second day. I will mention there are only 2 wooden chairs to sit on in the entire home unless you sit on traditional floor cushions on the floor so really not comfortable to lounge around on and no outside furniture to relax on while enjoying the surroundings. Other than that we loved the space and getting away from the busy city for a few days.
