Place: you get what you're expecting from the listing, which is wonderful. The house is sizable -- we had 3 people -- with plenty of space. There are also lots of games, a well stocked kitchen, and a nice fire place. It was very cold, so we didn't use the outside spaces (there's a screened in sun room, a fire pit area with chairs, and a picnic table near the fire pit), but they all seem perfect for spring/fall/summer. Area: Kingston/Woodstock area has grown tremendously in the past 10 years. Lots of good food, including but not limited to fine(r) dining. But be mindful that you should expect NYC prices. recommend Silvia's, Cucina, Bennys pizza, + Half Moon cafe (love the owners). Host: Eli is EXTREMELY proactive, informative, responsive, and flexible. The ideal host, frankly. He reached out proactively with neighborhood recommendations, gave early check in, and clearly wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Our family of 5 had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Stephen's house. We had lots of room to spread out but also great common spaces to be together. Kitchen was well-stocked and location was beautiful.

We had the best time! The house was clean and tidy, filled with every amenity you could need from towels and cookware/dishware to spices. The property is very well kept and exactly as pictured. The hot tub water was hot and clean, all utilities worked and we loved the bathroom steam shower. We had a very enjoyable time both hanging in the house and the area, as it’s only a quick 12-15 minute drive to New Paltz with tons of shops, restaurants and hiking trails. Thanks for a great trip!!

Shane’s place is lovely and I would highly recommend it. It was perfect for our group of 11 with enough space for us to eat all together and also to have separate areas for people to relax during the day. The deck has a nice view and the hot tub was a good amenity. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need. It is by the main road but as others have said, you really don’t notice that. We would definitely stay again!

Jane and Klay were great hosts and their home in Stone Ridge was beautiful and spacious with great amenities. We loved the fireplace and our dog loved the huge front and backyard with easy to access trails right from the property. The hosts were proactive with communication and gave really nice recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. We had a beautiful snowy weekend and would definitely love to come back. Thanks again!!

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

We loved our stay here. Beautiful lake and river view. The host has a book with instructions and local restaurants to n the dining table. This house is cozy clean with breathtaking views. We will definitely try to bottle k this place again and have a longer stay. It is 12 minutes away from Belleayre Skiing facility.

Spent the night in Kingston after going to a concert in Woodstock. The location was great (walkable to coffee and restaurants) and off-street parking was a plus. Carin provide clear check-in and check- out instructions and some great local recommendations. We hit up Rough Draft before leaving town for some excellent coffee and grabbed a new book.

A super clean, charming apartment with a very warm gas fireplace. The couch also converts into a bed. We especially loved the electric kettle and the gallon of spring water the host provided. Paul was a great host, and this house is minutes away from a hiking trail, which we enjoyed the next day. We had a great time!

Beautiful location for a perfect getaway from New York City

This place is beautiful. The decor is lovely. I’d love to stay in the house to have more space. I will say that I overlooked one aspect when booking, which is totally my fault, that there was not a tv. The enclosed porch is so pretty, unfortunately it was too cold to use. Katherine pays attention to details—from linens to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Staying here felt like going back in time historically. The neighborhood is amazing, everything is walkable, you won’t regret staying here.

This is a beautiful spacious home on hill with a mountain range view. The host told us about a hike that started in the neighborhood and it led to a pond and creek, which our whole family loved. Then Kingston restaurants were a very short drive to enjoy. The host left little snacks which I thought was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed.

A beautiful stay in Poughkeepsie! Anjelica’s Airbnb was extremely well stocked for cooking. There was filtered water, the option to make fresh juice, and even a complementary bottle of wine! The bed was very comfortable, and all of the linens felt fresh and clean. I also liked the soft warm lighting in the home, as it made it feel very homey and inviting. The parking was also very accessible and it was an easy walking distance to the downtown area. My only criticism was that due to the property being an old building the pipes were very loud at night. But that was a quick fix once we shut the heat off before bed. The downstair bedroom stayed a comfortable cool temperature throughout the night. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a luxurious comfortable and convenient stay in Poughkeepsie.

Nicola’s place is one of our absolute favorites. The serene home reflects a kind and responsive host who communicates with great warmth. This is the second time we stayed there and would love to return.

My friends and I had an amazing time here!! The kitchen was incredible and we were able to make a multi course meal. The yard was beautiful, we felt safe and were able to unwind and hang out. The hosts were amazing and responsive, answering all of our questions and accommodating all of our needs. The house was clean and comfortable and I would happily stay here again :)

Came for a 9 person family thanksgiving. House was very well laid out for cooking, eating and relaxing. Had a few issues and The hosts and manager were very responsive, especially considering we were there on a holiday weekend. Property is beautiful For walking. Fireplace is lovely and there was plenty of dried wood. Kitchen very well appointed and stocked. If you stay in the winter bring slippers and layers, especially if you are using the basement rooms.

Absolutely beautiful home! Carl and Rebecca were wonderful hosts - they were super responsive and accommodating. And their home is lovely down to all the little details, from the soft bathrobes to the warm spaces to hang out in. We had a wonderful stay at their home and would love to come back!

We had a fantastic time, the highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and it also had heating facilities making it perfect for a refreshing swim. The stay was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to cook meals when we wanted to. The bedrooms were cozy, and the bathrooms were spotless. Our host, Israel, was incredibly welcoming and responsive. He provided us with all the information we needed and were quick to address any questions or concerns we had during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway for a large group of people with a great pool. We hope to visit again soon!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in New Paltz. We were nine family members, ages 6-75, who enjoyed four days here after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to decompress from a very exciting and magical wedding weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable with a number of areas to relax and enjoy- indoors and out. The pool was a lot of fun, and the house was well provisioned and nicely decorated. It was a rare treat to find a rental house that included basic supplies such as spices, pantry staples like flour and sugar, etc. Ken was an amazing host, very responsive if we had a question and provided a great list of local resources and recommendations that was very helpful. New Paltz is a fun town with a number of good restaurants and more to do in the area than we could manage in four days. Highlights included a day trip to Storm King (fabulous!) and another day to Hyde Park where we visited the Roosevelt homestead and Vanderbilt mansion.

The place is breathtaking. Located in an incredible land with awesome trails is a marvelous house nicely decorated and amazing rooms. We had an incredible time with my family that we will remember forever. Many thanks to Paula. Always there and really helpful with everything.

I stayed at Alluvion Vacations' property from 12.29-1.1 to ring in the new year with my family. The property is extremely well-designed and very beautiful, it's minimalist modern aesthetic drew a nice contrast with the surrounding nature. Every room in the house was pleasant to be in—it's the type of special experience you'd expect from Airbnb. The host was also very responsive and flexible with my requests, always very friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this house.
