Was the perfect night away location and home, private and quiet but close enough in the car to shops and takeaways. Gorgeous views. Lovely outdoor sitting area and the hot tub was great. Very clear instructions all around the home and great communications from the hosts. Highly recommend

A wonderful 2 night stay at Mollies Cottage. The most ideal getaway when looking to escape from the world for a few days and take in all Donegal has to offer. The cottage itself was stunning. Everything you need for a memorable stay. The hot tub outside is a lovely touch, cold windy night in February it took 4-4.5 hours to heat the hot tub using the outdoor stove - yes it took some time (adding fuel every 30 mins) but it was 100% worth the wait. Slieve League, Narin/Portnoo and Dooey Beach were personal favourite spots. The Rusty Mackerel at Slieve league offered the perfect Irish pub with open fires and great hearty Irish food with fantastic Guinness. Dooey beach might be the most tranquil beach in Ireland. A little off the beaten track but well worth the drive (12 mins) Can’t recommend Mollies Cottage enough. 10/10 all round. Owner very responsive also which made our trip even better. If you get the chance to book this property don’t think twice and make it happen.

This stay truly exceeded all my expectations. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing detailed instructions, easy check in and even a few local recommendations that made my stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to prepare meals with ease, and the living area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down. What really set this Airbnb apart, though, was the attention to detail. The host had thoughtfully provided little touches like a welcome basket with snacks, and even a selection of games and plenty of apps to choose from on the tv. The location was also ideal with breath taking views . Will definitely be back . Thank you for having us .

Annette’s house was lovely and cosy. Everything we needed was at hand, beautiful range cooker in the kitchen. Clean and tidy and really comfortable. Annette had a really detailed guest book with all local amenities making everything really accessible. 5stars and would definitely stay again.

Ricky’s place was wonderful from the moment we got there, we had a peaceful time, and with the shops only 10 minutes away, was able to have everything we wanted easily. Ricky was a great host, really quick to respond and helpful as anything.

We stayed here for our anniversary and there were many options to pick from but we are so glad we chose here! The cottage itself was so cute and 10/10 for decoration. Everything was really clean and it has everything you could possibly need. A really nice touch is the board games supplied! The reason we chose here was the wood fired hot tub and it was honestly our favourite bit, we spent hours in there! The only slight downside is that you do have to wait a good few hours for it to heat up, it was only 5 degrees outside so it took 3.5-4 hours for us but it was definitely worth it and then it stays warm for the duration of the stay and only needs a slight heat up the next day. Conor and Sophie are also on hand for any query’s and really friendly and responsive. Overall a 10/10 stay!

Had the most amazing time at Joan and Michael’s place. The welcome basket was such a lovely thought, very much appreciated. Their house is lovely, so quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would stay again!

If I could give Audrey 6 stars I would! The cottage was cosy, clean and we had everything we needed. Audrey was welcoming and spent time explaining things, telling us about the surrounding area and ensuring that we were comfortable. I hope to visit Riverstown and Audrey's cottage again one day.

Beautiful cottage, stunning views from every window. Warm, cosy and inviting. Really comfortable living space and great size kitchen to cook in. Very welcoming including welcome gifts including bubbles, cake and flowers, making you feel special. Would definitely come again

Noreen was a great host and very friendly. Any questions we had before booking she was extremely approachable and gave great recommendations when we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, very rural which is what Donegal is all about. The views of the mountains whilst sitting at the table outside for a coffee was the view I needed after Christmas week. Ardara centre about 10 minute drive away with a vary of different bars and food places to tickle your needs. Will definitely consider booking again in future.

Well you can't get much more peaceful, the cottage is perfectly described in the name. it's a beautiful cottage, a decent size and has literally everything you'll need for your stay. We had an amazingly relaxing few nights, chilling in front of tge fire and enjoying the place. ten minutes drive by taxi your in gorgeous Drumshambo, few tasty pints in Conways and a taxi home in no time, the locals were so friendly and it was such fun. Next morning we were fishing for pike in the beautiful Lough Allen, only minutes away again, no luck this time unfortunately. Everything was arranged easily with Margaret and we got some great advice from her colleague Gerry. We will definitely return soon. Thanks Mags x

Loved our stay, it’s a real escape, very tranquil and the window seat with the view was the perfect spot to read my book with a morning coffee. The interiors are great, really nicely laid out, scandinavian feel to the house. Kate has thought of everything you need, including a spare dog lead which came in handy as Olive, our dog, chewed through hers! Beds were comfortable, great shower and perfect for a relaxing break- just what we needed. It is worth noting that you do need a car and any eateries, bars etc. are not within walking distance. We did some amazing beach walks and loved the little cafe in Mullaghmore. Also Harrison’s bar/ restaurant in Clifton’s was a nice spot for a Guinness and great pizza. Next time we will be doing the sauna and swim. We would come back and stay again in a heart beat!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Very homely, warm and comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and absolutely all aspects were catered for from an amazing kitchen with all the appliances you'd ever need right down to dvds to watch and books to read! I especially loved that it was a pet friendly location and the garden was completely enclosed so my dog was able to go out into the garden to sit without me worrying about him running off out of the garden onto the road. We felt right at home here and Christine was a great host who made sure every detail was covered and that we had the best stay we could ask for. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and I will definitely book here again myself. The cottage is within a few minutes walk of the start of The Granite Trail on Slieve Donard which is an amazing route to hike if you like the great outdoors. There is a beautiful sea/harbour view from the front of the cottage as well. I can't wait to come back!

Fantastic weekend away with my wife. Very peaceful, lovely scenic walks. Very clean, everything you need. Breakfast and milk provided. Ciaran was very responsive to any messages, definitely will be back!

Absolutely beautiful place! Donna is an excellent host, taking care of all the little details. The fireplace was an added layer of cozy! Highly recommend staying at this cozy cottage!

This cottage was the perfect place for a chill weekend. It was quiet, cozy, warm, and in a beautiful area. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get some rest and get away from normal busy life. We had a great time and the nearby town Manorhamilton has some great spots for food.

We had such an incredible stay the cottage and can't wait to go back. Vince had brilliant communication throughout, met us to let us in and show us around, but also gave us privacy throughout our stay. The cottage is finished in a very modern and clean way - absolutely pristine. The heading was on so it was lovely and cosy, and we made use of the kitchen to make dinner so were very glad of all the amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets very high quality. The hot tub was ready for us and we loved looking at the stars from it after the sun set. There was also a chiminea set up which we would have used had we more time! Hospitality was incredible and a fantastic property. Thank you so very much Vince and family, we hope to see you soon and will definitely be recommending to friends!

Wow what a place this cottage is. From the minute we drove up it was everything we wanted in a cottage and more. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful ☺️ loved all the quirky interior and no WiFi was just what we needed. It was a wonderful break from reality and the dvds were a blast from the past . Will definitely be back again . Wonderful hosts were always quick to respond. I have nothing negative to say apart from we did not want to leave

I booked the cottage at very short notice for a family funeral so I hadn’t read any of the reviews. I was a little anxious on arrival as what should await. However I was pleased to find that it was a really cute cottage with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The cottage was immaculately clean with everything that we needed. The cottage and surrounding area was beautiful even in the depths of a cold and snowy winter so I can just imagine that it must be really gorgeous in the spring and summer and I hope that we can return to see this. Many thanks to Catherine for allowing us to stay in her lovely home.

Am avut o ședere foarte plăcută in casa lui John. Locatia din zona rurala retrasa cu foarte multă liniște și intimitate, exact ce aveam nevoie. Casa are toate utilitățile necesare, practic a fost ca si acasă. John este o gazda foarte receptivă si raspunde foarte repede oricăror nevoi/solicitari.

Exceeded our expectations for sure. Enjoyed every minute. Host went out of her way to meet with us. Cottage did not lack anything. Area was quite and in the middle of nature.
