Although we only stayed for two nights we really enjoyed Fee's home. Great area and so peaceful. We would certainly use it again.

I would highly recommend Forty winks, to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle. It is the perfect home away from home, in the country side, with all one can need for a peaceful break. Peter was a gracious host, his communication was clear and he is such a friendly, warm person. My sister and i thoroughly enjoyed our break at Forty winks. The pictures don't do justice to the attention to detail. Having drinking water (the tap water is safe too), fresh rusks, milk in the fridge. Comfortable beds. Divine shower. Seeing the Zebras stroll by was such a treat. The surrounding area is beautiful. Nature at its best. Thank you Peter for a memorable weekend.

We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Thank you Kirsten for being so friendly & welcoming. Best host we have ever met. ..sharing your little haven with us ...feast for our senses.

Can’t wait to go back! The property lived up to its name “Ekuthuleni” - so tranquil with the most picture perfect views. Sduduzo was an amazing host, with great communication from navigating to his property, the where everything is in the house to the local recommendations, regular check-ins up until we checked out. Highlight of my weekend was the boat cruise on the property and the board games. Great location and the host has thought of everything - highly recommend ❤️

Grant's place was exactly how it was advertised. A very peaceful and beautiful area, with great views. Sue was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing weekend away.

Crest Farm is an absolute gem of a place. The owners are wonderful people who communicated with us right from the start regarding an earlier check-in time, which they allowed. Instructions regarding our stay and the home were proactively sent out. Even accommodating our GSD and last minute additional guest. We were utterly impressed with the living space, from the moment we arrived everything was spick and span. Exactly as described, in fact we found ourselves short of nothing as the home offers so much more than one would usually get for the price we paid especially over a long weekend. Phenomenal value for money and absolutely a home away from home feel. There is not enough that could be said about how wonderful Crest Farm is for someone looking to retreat into the serenity of the countryside while still enjoying the comforts of home style modern living. My family and I spent Christmas at Oakvlei Farm and we absolutely loved it! The house was perfect in every way. We were amazed by how friendly and responsive Carol and her team were during our stay as they never hesitated to assist us. I have to condone her for the extremely comfy beds and quality linen on the beds. We were able to bring our two little dogs in which they were able to run around the whole day, seeing as the big garden is completely closed off. If you are looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat with friends or family, I highly recommend Carol's place.

We had an unforgettable stay at Summerfield! Marion's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The farm's serene atmosphere was the perfect antidote to our busy lives, and the kids loved exploring the surroundings. The little touches made all the difference - homemade rusks and fresh milk every morning were a delightful treat. The house was immaculately maintained, and Marion's exceptional hosting skills made us feel like part of the family. We can't wait to return to Summerfield soon! Highly recommended for a tranquil and memorable getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful and large farm house! The little kids loved the farm with its sheep and the dam! We will definitely be back! Robyn was a delight to deal with and made the whole experience even more wonderful, thank you!

An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

Loved our stay.

The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable. The farm is stunning and the farmer was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed walking around among the ducks, sheep and cows. My son particularly enjoyed milking the cow. The road to the farm requires a 4x4 vehicle, and the roads around the farm can be very muddy in the rain, if you would like to walk it is essential to bring hiking boots or wellies.

The accommodation is spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. The accommodation is nice and central if wanting to explore the meander.

If you're looking for peace and quite then look no further. We had a truly relaxing stay and will definitely be returning.
