A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

We had a very pleasant stay! Everything was as described, great and calm location but still close to Hikkaduwa. Especially having wonderful and helpful housekeepers made the stay very relaxing.

Crocodile Rock villa was a superb place for me and my family to stay. We had the best time and the house is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The staff were really helpful and helped make our stay even better. The food at the place was amazing and was such a luxury having delicious authentic Sri Lankan home cooking made for us. The house is surrounded by the most incredible wildlife and we enjoyed watching the monkeys and bats from the garden. Truly magical!

This is a lovely little bungalow, 5 minute walk from a super empty, massive beach! The house is surrounded by plants/ flowers/ coconut and mango trees. The patio area is lovely with ample seating and the sun-beds are perfect for lazy midday sunbathing moments. The area is great for us, very local, peaceful experience but just a short drive to Hikkaduwa or half an hour to Galle… renting bikes or tuktuk is easy if you want to be mobile and Gayan will help you out! Gayan the host was extremely proactive and was eager to show us the area and provide any necessities needed. Very friendly and welcoming. The amenities mostly work well and the air on is fab. Unfortunately, whenever we used the toaster or oven the electric went out so be aware of that. Also if you are looking for more of a completely private stay be aware the host lives in a different house on the same property. So he will be around all the time in the garden ect. Overall great time! Great value!

Dom jest olbrzymi i bardzo ładny . Położony poza turystyczną częścią co jest dodatkowym atutem . Łatwy dostęp do sklepów , apteki czy plaży . Dom ma 4 sypialnie niezależne ze swoimi łazienkami , dużą przestrzeń wspólną - salon , jadalnie - kuchnię . Mable nowe i bardzo wygodne . Łóżka też olbrzymie i super wygodne . Duży ogród i piękne tarasy . Chętnie zatrzymamy się w domu następnym razem . Polecam wszystkim to miejsce . Komunikacja z opiekunami domu bardzo dobra .

Darshaka and his mother are very kind and helpful and we had a warm welcome. Darshaka advices and helped us booking all kind of tours. His mother is an absolute cooking queen! If you want she can cook the most delicious dishes for you or she can give you a cooking class so you can learn and experience Sri Lanka’s local tasts😋. I would certainly recommend this place if you want to feel at home!

The old chilli house really did feel like a home from home. In a great location Kris and his family were very warm and welcoming. Kris is a natural host and had contacts for anything we wanted to do. From Tuk Tuk and Scooter rides when needed to his amazing knowledge of the area. We were so lucky to experience this little slice of paradise. The old chilli house has beautiful rooms, with attention to small, homey details. Do not hesitate to book, it’s a popular airbnb for a reason!
