Yvette was a great host, particularly with the flexibility she showed with check in. My bus got in late and she stayed up late to meet me and gave good instructions. Probably the cleanest AirBnB I have stayed in the city. Great restaurants nearby and close to Subway and Central Park. Really worth the value.

My gf and I were in town for a show, and Yvette’s place proved to be the best value and location for us. Her place is easy to get to by subway, and is in a very walkable neighborhood. Our room had to be arranged due to unexpected changes, but Yvette worked with us to find a solution, and even ungraded our room. She is an excellent host, with great communication, and plenty of recommendations. I will definitely keep her place on my list for places to stay in NYC.

Yvette made sure to welcome us with open arms and was ready to help us with anything we needed. The place is 5 minutes from major subway lines and easy to travel to. There’s also target/Trader Joe’s 5 minutes away, along with other shops and restaurants too. Plenty to do in Harlem, but the location makes it easy to travel to Manhattan, Brooklyn, etc via subway.

I love staying in unique Airbnbs when I come to NYC for work and this was definitely a treat. It was very much out of a movie and times gone by and yet so reasonably priced, comfortable and easy to access. Walk or ride to Columbia easily. LOTS of walkable shops and restaurants and easy access to trains. Don’t stay if you’re not keen on sharing a bathroom (I didn’t mind and it was never a problem) but note there’s only one shower (the floor I stayed on had just a bathtub) but it’s easy to get to either bathroom if one is occupied. There is a smell in the air that is perhaps the age of the home showing itself but worth mentioning because it might be off putting if you are sensitive to fragrances or other odors but I want to stress that it was VERY clean and nothing I co couldn’t fix in my own room with essential oils. GREAT communication and flexibility on Rene’s part.

Yvette was a great host She was communicative, welcoming and warm. I could not stay as originally planned but my son stayed & she was kind and understanding with this. He enjoyed the space finding it comfortable. We are originally from NYC & lived in Harlem so it is nice to be able to stay close to where we once lived and have access to family & friends. We highly recommend and would come here again.

The bedroom has a lovely view of the NYC skyline. The neighborhood is stunning. Montclair restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. Sean and Kathy were responsive and so helpful. Grateful to have been able to spend time at this space!

Geralde has created a lovely basement unit: private entrance, tons of natural light, homey, spacious, good feeling layout with comfortable furniture, bed, and no clutter or over-furnishing junking up the place! Big kitchen and closet was an added bonus. She and Pierre were also friendly, helpful hosts quick to respond. Was also reasonably priced! Definitely recommend if in the area. Santiago and Mariella are the awesome host of this cute Airbnb! They were so polite and showed us the place like a house tour. We wanted a place to rest and stay for the evening, and other options were not open to make the place available in short notice, I messaged Santiago and he made it available for us within half hour. Love the place, so cozy and beautiful. Will definitely visit again!

This place is quiet and very private, as someone in the area for work this is exactly what I am looking for. I work night shift and the host was understanding about odd sleeping hours and adjusted check out time for me. Wonderful all around, will definitely be back!

Beautiful and cozy. Perfect for a short or extended stay. Clean and modern decor. Everything you need they have and Lissett adds a welcoming touch upon check in but I won’t give it away! I hope to stay again, if you are going to stay in North Bergen or exploring the surrounding areas I highly recommend staying at this property.

Absolutely STUNNING place - even better than the beautiful photos... Perfect for a few days of R & R with plenty of grocers and restaurants nearby. A completely luxurious home away from home with every amenity one could think of, including individual heating units for each room. A perfect place and one of the loveliest accommodations on this site...........

The host was understanding and kind enough to allow me to check in early since i was leaving a previous air bnb. I def recommend anyone who is looking for a stay in jersey to pick this spot... it is def worth it.... only thing that i will say that scared me was on the 2nd night there was a shooting right outside of the air bnb, it was an idiot who was walking down the street and decided to be heard and not seen.... Other then that it was an amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect for exploring Brooklyn and getting into Manhattan easily, with the subway just a short walk away. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One thing to note is that you can hear the highway traffic throughout the stay, but for us, it was simply part of the authentic NYC experience. What truly made this stay exceptional were the remarkable views—hands down the best we've ever had in an Airbnb. We didn’t even turn on the TV because every corner of the apartment offered stunning views of the city. We could even see the Statue of Liberty and were lucky enough to catch fireworks! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was fantastic with great water pressure, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Without a doubt, this will be our go-to place whenever we return to NYC. Highly recommend!

Staying here was a no brainer! And would absolutely do it again! Loved the space and the street and neighborhood. A true authentic NYC experience! Flexible check in which was massively helpful also.

Great location and set up, conveniently close to downtown Morristown. Amy was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect for our Thanksgiving trip to see relatives -- close by to family & meeting places, big enough for 4 of us to spend time on our own including separate rooms/bathrooms from kids but no wasted space, detailed instructions made checking in & finding everything easy, ability to do laundry before leaving was appreciated. I'll try to book for next year if we visit again!
