I almost don’t want to write a review so I can keep this place to myself. We were lucky to get into to Jenny’s cabin last minute - Jenny’s communication has been quick, detailed, and packed with so much warmth, just like her cabin. The space is beautiful and the location (right in front of the river) is naturally healing. It does take some effort to start a fire for the hot tub, but a truly one of a kind and rewarding experience.

Great place to stay in the Catskills. If you’re into cold plunges, sauna, and hot tubs then this place if for you. The sauna and hot tub are heated by an attached wood stove so you need to be pretty versed in starting and maintaining fires. Since we were, this place was awesome. Thanks for a great stay and thanks for being so responsive.

I had a great time staying at the blue cabin. The place was very cozy, the scenery was gorgeous and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all you need and the bed was very comfortable. Sara’s communication was outstanding and quick. We couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor space due to low temperatures but enjoyed all the games they had available in the house. I would love to be back during warmer weather and enjoy the beautiful lake and surroundings. Thanks White family for sharing your home with us!

Had a great stay here for a girls weekend in the Poconos. Was an intimate space but we made it work for for the 5 of us! The gated community was very empty in early spring which was nice, and we loved the hot tub!

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway

Great stay, nice cabins nestled in the woods by the lake. Pet friendly, well taken care of grounds. Flat and very walkable docking. Dock slip was really nice, accessible and convenient. Great modern cabin. Will be back again!

Beautiful cabin. I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for families or couples or even a friends trip. The cabin is cozy, stocked with a few games, TV, and the backyard + patio puts you at peace. I had an amazing trip. If you want a little peace outside the cabin, I recommend heading out the cabin to Dingsmans Falls not too far away.

Perfect location for a small family looking for a ski weekend at big bear. Conveniently location just a quarter mile away from the ski area. Cabin was clean, well equipped and well maintained.

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

Great location with a great host, Bridie’s home is a wonderful place to experience NY state. From the privacy and comfort, to the peacefulness of the area, this was a much needed relief from the city life. Bridie as a host was very accommodating, had great recommendations and info about the local area, and made our stay welcome to where I’d recommend to anyone considering!

OMG, I am so glad we found this place! We live in the city and needed an escape for a long weekend. We wanted something cosy, private and in the middle of nature. That is exactly what we got staying here. The cabin was clean, had every amenity we were looking for and it was so peaceful. The creek provided lots of entertainment for our kid, there were lots of wild dear to ogle at and the cabin was so spacious we managed to get some private time without stepping on one another's toes! Can't recommend this place highly enough. We will be back! Thank you Claudia :-)

Exactly as pictured. Cozy home, with all the kitchen items you need to cook. Beautiful property and comfy beds. Appliances are easy to use, and WiFi works great. The hosts are communicative and thoughtful; they were flexible when bad weather interrupted my stay. Definitely use the directions they provide for smoother roads; it was a breeze getting there with the little detour they suggest.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

The place was gorgeous- exactly like the pictures. We celebrated my birthday this weekend. Our stay was cozy surrounded by nature. A great place to disconnect. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

My wife and I came to this cabin for a peaceful getaway, and that was exactly what we got. We loved the cabin and all the accommodations. We were able to play games the host has for entertainment. We also loved the coffee bar. The outside seating was perfect. Our getaway was spent half the time inside of the cabin and half the time enjoying the outdoors as well. It was a lovely getaway. The host was quick to respond and very friendly. We recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking for peaceful getaway.

The place was great, we felt right at home and fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the door. Beautiful area, and everything you need can be found 15 mins in either direction down the road. Absolutely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet cozy getaway.

We enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful and quiet! The woodstove kept the cabin toasty! The Elk Mountain Ski resort is just a few miles down the road! There was plenty of towels, necessities to last us thru our stay! Was able to bring our doggie with us which was a plus as we stayed a little over a week. Thanks!

I was looking for a quiet place to spend my girlfriend's birthday weekend. After looking at several options we decided on Julie and Catherine's cabin and it was definitely the best choice as every single review on Airbnb falls short when describing this place. Julie and Catherine were always in touch and made the whole process simple, clear and well detailed. The cabin is in a very quiet place surrounded by forest where on several occasions we had deer wandering around the cabin. The cabin itself is very cozy, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. We loved enjoying a good wine by the fireplace, having breakfast in the dinning table watching the snow fall outside as well as having coffee on the deck listening the wind through the trees. If you are looking for the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy a place full of good vibes, this is definitely it. El Bosque is beautiful. Quiet. A lovely stay We will definitely be back soon!!!!
