This was the 2nd property we stayed at of Kathy's. Great hosts in a perfect location and we will absolutely stay here again! very walkable location and a bus stop close by as well if needed. the room of beach equipment is a huge bonus! can't wait for our next trip back!

we couldn't have been any happier at the Emerald Mermaid! lovely space with all the necessities: kitchenette, bed, nice size bathroom and a sitting area with comfy chairs! The beach is just a few blocks away! also loved the artwork and "ocean" touches!

I was looking for a place on Cocoa Beach that would allow immediate access to the beach, a hot tub for my husband and daughter, a dog friendly beach and a host that was welcoming and Ken’s place fulfilled all my wishes! Ken went out of his way to welcome us even inviting us for dinner feeding us delicious grouper and time on his boat in the Banana River! The apartment is private but the size is perfect for 2 but we made due for 3. The bed is very comfortable and king sized. Bring ear plugs and a sound machine if you like to sleep in and are sensitive to noise as the bedroom is near a busy road. Ken was very responsive to any request so thank you for that Ken, including helping my husband grill some Florida shrimp for dinner. We had a wonderful time on the beach and paddle boarding on the Banana River seeing dolphins and manatee. We also loved The Cape Canaveral National park area at Playlinda Beach that we saw on the way out. Manatee park was a good place to see turtles. It was great!

We enjoyed everything about the little house! It was a great location,quiet, and spacious! Very homey, we loved it! Michelle was so nice and helpful! We will definitely be staying again! 🫶❤️

Little House on the Beach was everything we had hoped for. The home was just the right size for my husband and me with our two small dogs. The furniture, two rockers on porch and the beds were VERY comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked of any vacation home we've ever rented, both in kitchenware and pots along with all the basics.....dish soap, spices, hand towels, etc. But the highlight of this home is the back deck and view. Soooo very relaxing as you watch the waves and the birds with all the natural ocean sounds . And incredible sunsets and sunrises. I love that you walk down the back steps and are on the beach and that the beach itself is very peaceful with people playing with their dogs or collecting shells. No loud music or crowds. Would highly recommend this home and hope to come back next year.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It was very comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated how clean it was and that the pups could wander in the back yard. Loved that the beach was so close and we could walk to many restaurants and sites.

Excellent location, safe and just across the street from a nice beach. Walkable to restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed our stay with 4 teens. Would recommend.

Location, location, location. This was perfect for us to spend time in both Galveston and Freeport. The peace and privacy of this place were perfect. Just a few steps to the beach it was great. Melanie and Daryl

This home provided my husband and me a terrific beach vacation for the entire month. The two decks offer diverse, beautiful views, the neighborhood is lovely, and the beach access is great. Also, the private tiered back yard is a pup paradise. Nolan provides wonderful, warm communication.

This was our 2nd stay at this home with our 3 children, their spouses, and our 7 young grandchildren (ages1-9). We love the open layout, the patio area above the beach, and the single floor living for all but the master suite. The hosts are exceptionally responsive. The reverse osmosis water filter tap is a big plus that most homes we’ve rented do not have.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The 2nd floor was an unexpected bonus with a nice view of the Gulf. The unit is ideal for 2 people with maybe one or two children. Easy walking from the unit to the beach and long the paved foot paths. I suspect things could get a little noisy during busier times in the summer with street traffic and voices outside, but that is likely true with any location along the beach. The thermostat was fun to figure out. I definitely recommend this location to anyone look for a small space close to the beach!

Our group of 5 had a wonderful time at the condo. The location was excellent and the view was spectacular! The amenities of the building were helpful, since the weather was cool. The unit was simply equipped, but we appreciated that all of the basic supplies were provided. Additionally, when we cooked, the basics were available! The provision of beach towels was helpful, and there were lots of other beach items available. Note: The assigned parking space in the attached deck does not accommodate a full size SUV/truck! (There’s a public parking deck available on 9th Street.) We would have appreciated more comfortable seats in the main gathering area, as we prefer to play games and watch TV together; however, there were folding chairs provided! Our family would definitely like to stay again!

This place was amazing. The location and the amenities were the main reason why I wanted to book this place. I had a wonderful time there with my family. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy some family time by the beach. :)

Great location close to everything very clean and comfortable

It was a great place with all the needed amenities and more. Perfect view, great beach amenities, VERY walkable to beach/pool/etc. Very roomy. The only thing I’d say is that being the only group of younger individuals at the complex was not a problem on our end, but we ran into many disrespectful, judgmental, and outright rude neighbors when just trying to mind our own business :(

I loved the private access to the beach and i was very pleased that there were chairs and other activities that were provided in the condo for us to take to the beach. Two adults and two teenagers slept comfortably, and the washer and dryer came in handy. I would stay again for sure!

Such a great place! Very clean and exactly like the pictures! A great place to spend a beach vacation! The beach is so close! There were lots of things to do nearby, and the boardwalk is also a close drive! Loved staying here!

We had another fantastic spring break at the Beachcomber. I was reading different reviews to get a sense of what to write, and I was struck that so many people have stayed at this location multiple times and continue to choose to come back. I think that speaks a lot to how great this place is. And we have already reserved a return trip!
