The house was as advertised and worked well for our family. A couple things to note- we were told that check-in time was at 4pm, we arrived at 5:45pm and there was a man in the driveway who was just sort of milling around, he said he had been cleaning the gutters and knew the host by name. I thought it was odd that he would be there when the host knew we were supposed to check in at 4pm, it almost felt as if he was waiting for us to get there. Additionally, later that evening we found out that there was a window in the basement that had been left open. That made me very uneasy since I was traveling with my children. The house was mostly well cleaned but it looked as if the stove had been used and not wiped down. The stair handles were dingy. I wish the host would have left any sort of all purpose cleaner, but I usually try to travel with clorox wipes. Overall it was fine and worked well for us to travel back and forth to the city from.

The house was exactly as described and shown in pics. Clean and well decorated. Sean allowed us to check in early due to very early arrival flight. Had a few hiccups at the house but he was very responsive. I am from St Louis but live out of state now and was back visiting. His place is within a 20 minute drive to most places you may want to visit and major highways. FYI for the short girlies like myself, the house was designed for taller folks so you may have to hop a bit to get into tall bed and use microwave but well worth it 😁 I would recommend Sean’s place and would stay again on my next visit.

Great spot! Place is a short car ride from downtown and as quick walk from local restraints. Place was super comfortable and relaxing as a home base as I explored more of what St. Louis has to offer.

I had a great stay! No problems with finding the location and it was located not far from a lot of stores, activities and things to do. the actual home was beautiful had no issues with my stay! Will definitely look at booking again!

Justin's house was clean and everything was as advertised in the listing. There was easy access (15-20 minutes ) to the major attractions in St. Louis. Justin was super responsive as a host, and he was able to get a maintenance person out within a couple hours of us checking to replace a hard wired smoke alarm that was chirping. The neighbors have dogs that barked at us since we were strangers, but the dogs are friendly and after we made friends with the dogs they didn't bark as much. Overall I would recommend Justin's house, and we would stay again.

The air b&b was my home away from home for 11 weeks, it felt like home instantly. Matt and his wife are very friendly and responsive. I loved the home, the space and the walks to the best downtown ST. Charles shops and restaurants. I was here for a law enforcement training and all agencies around stated this was the best and safest area to be staying, I couldn’t agree more. I would recommend this home over and over again. Thank you for making my stay a great experience especially from being away from home for so long!

If you are looking to stay in the downtown Clayton area, the Le Luxe condo is an excellent location, directly across the street from lovely Shaw Park for morning or anytime walks. Also conveniently located for quick access to all major transportation arteries anywhere in St. Louis or St. Louis county. The building is very nice with numerous amenities, very secure, modern & very well maintained, easily accessible parking garage, fast elevators, a nice pool table on the main floor which I enjoyed playing on, and other amenities as described. The condo itself is accurately depicted. Rare for a condo high rise of this sort, you can actually open small vent windows at the bottom of each of the tall glass window sections in the living room and bedroom to get a bit of fresh air into the unit, which we appreciated. Communication was very good when needed.

Our family had a great stay here. It was our first time visiting St. Louis, and the location gave us convenient access to all the major sites in the city with a car. One night we walked to a restaurant in the Hill, the neighborhood in which the AirBnB is located. The hot tub was fun and I could imagine kids loving the pool in the summer. The home was large with three bedrooms and room to sleep up to 4 adults and 3 kids easily. The host was very communicative, responding very quickly and was always very friendly. The only drawback is that it's right next to a large highway with lots of traffic. There is no problem with safety -- the highway is below the house, and there is a bridge going over it right in front of the house. But the bedroom with the king size bed is in the front of the house and noise from passing cars can easily be heard from the bedroom. It didn't bother us at all, but it was noticeable and might bother a light sleeper. We would happily return!
