What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

We had a very relaxing weekend break in Ljusterö with our dog. It was worth the trip for the birdsong alone ❤️ and the super sniffs in the grounds for him! The house was spotless and lovely and warm when we arrived. Self check in was easy. Helene had sent perfect directions, instructions and recommendations for us. We loved sitting on the verandas in the spring sunshine and enjoying the peace and quiet. There is a lovely swimming spot a 5 minute walk away. The house is surrounded by forest and there are neighbours but it feels really private and secluded. We had a gorgeous hot tub under the stars. It was off season but Helena and co in the Torg was open at the weekend for great coffee, food and deli goods and the tempo supermarket had most things we needed. A car is essential I think, although you could walk to the bus, if you’re feeling energetic! Highly recommended, especially as we booked last minute and Helene was super responsive and accommodating!

We loved our stay at Per’s home! Our family of 5 had plenty of space for our stay for 2 weeks. The home has everything you need for cooking and feels like a cozy home. Our kids loved playing in the pool. Per and Jennie were super responsive and helpful. The home is a very short drive from Mörby Centrum where you can get all your groceries and do some shopping. You can also easily catch the subway from there into the city. Driving into the city is also easy with just a quick drive (maybe 15 minutes) to the center of Stockholm. The park down the street and the nature trails nearby were also delightful.

Our family had a lovely stay here- for our 4 kids ages 6-12 there was so much space and fun options to play- soccer, table tennis, a play house, san box, kubb, trampoline, small pool etc. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. Cecilia was a welcoming host and always responsive. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10! Beautiful home with amazing view of the water. Walk to train which is super easy, and you are in Stockholm within 20 mins! wonderful place for family vacation or for perhaps a few couples - wine on the deck, wonderful kitchen, and a sauna! Für Naturliebhaber ein Traum, Eichhörnchen hatten wir ab und zu auf den Balkon. Rehe die vorbei liefen vor der Haustüre. Die Reise zur Insel selbst war auch immer sehr entspannend mit der Fähre. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nähe. Tomas hat toll für uns vorgesorgt und wenn was war hat er gleich sich bemüht zu regeln. Wir wurden vor Ort von ein Mitarbeiter toll empfangen und betreut, er hat uns auch tolle tips für die Gegend gegeben einfach toll Danke. Wir fühlten uns Willkommen und gut aufgehoben, besser könnte es nicht sein. Danke an Tomas und auch an Lasse lg Daniella, Silvano & Ray

Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr pflegeleicht und familienfreundlich. Emelie war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wichtig zu verstehen ist, dass die Extrawohnung nur auf Anfrage und ab bestimmter Anzahl dazu gebucht werden kann.

Absolutely perfect Airbnb! It’s got everything you need - spices, kitchen essentials, and all the little details that make a stay super comfortable. The location is perfect, and Peter, the host, is super friendly and responds really quickly. Really well-equipped and just an overall great spot. For the price, probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely recommend!

Vi åkte från Stockholm för att fira Nyårsafton bortom raketer och smällare, Huset var en riktig fullträff och inte bara vår hund utan även vi fick en otroligt mysig kväll. Så lantligt och fridfullt, men ändå så lättillgängligt från storstaden. Vi blev väldigt väl mottagna och fick tydliga instruktioner kring allting. Huset var ett klassiskt svenskt torp med vedspis och brädgolv. Inredningen var trivsam och omsorgsfull; krukväxter, broderade dukar, trasmattor och handvävda kökshanddukar. Köket var mycket väl utrustat. Ett ställe vi gärna rekommenderar för andra och även tänker att vi vill återkomma till under en varmare årstid.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Har besökt detta ställe flera gånger, och det är perfekt för ändamålet. Det stora utrymmet på tredje våningen är som gjort för ändamål som behöver mycket plats. Köket är socialt, och sovrummen är bekväma och mörka.

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

Die Unterkunft von Malin und Sven ist einzigartig schön! Wunderschöne Lage in Mitten einer traumhaften Natur. Das Anwesen war einfach nur ein Traum, keine Wünsche blieben offen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen, welche sich auf dem Grundstück hervorragend beschäftigen konnten. Gemeinsames Kochen in einer wundervollen Küche, Boule spielen, Kanu fahren oder einfach nur den wundervollen Garten oder die Schärenwelt geniessen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei❤️. Die Kommunikation mit Malin war immer top, sie hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und war immer erreichbar. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen! Vielen herzlichen Dank Malin und Sven🥰

Stefan et Anna ont été des hôtes très accueillants, la communication était très facile. Anna nous a accueilli avec un délicieux gâteau à la cannelle. Le logement est situé sur une petite île dans le magnifique archipel de Stockholm sur une île entre mer et forêt où l'exploration est facile. Nous avons voyagé avec mes deux enfants de 11 et 13 ans. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des daims, des biche et un élan sur Byholmen.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! The highlight of the property is the huge back deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. The large swimming pool adds to the charm, creating a perfect relaxation spot. Sigtuna itself is enchanting, with its quaint streets and rich history. The house embodies this charm, making it a delightful retreat. The peaceful location truly enhances the experience, allowing for a tranquil getaway. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting. You won't be disappointed!

Rekommenderar detta boende om man värdesätter trevlig trädgård med pool och grill. Enkelt att ta sig till Stockholm och skönt att dra sig tillbaka till ett välskött, lugnt och relativt tyst område med trevliga promenadstråk och en sjö alldeles nära. Huset är mycket välskött och hade gott om plats för 2 familjer (6 personer).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sofia & Fredrik’s place. The house was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. There were flowers, tomatoes from the garden and even goodies for the kids (who felt at home straight away). Sofia and Fredrik are the most lovely hosts. Thank you!

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt mit der ganzen Familie in Helenas Haus. Auch unsere Hündin Molly war herzlich willkommen :). Das gesamte Anwesen (Haus inklusive Gästehaus) ist perfekt geeignet für eine große Familie. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Pool, die Sauna, die Outdoorküche, die Nähe zur Natur sowie die Lage. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und top ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! :)

Erik was a fantastic host. Responded really quickly to any messages or questions during the stay and was very hospitable. The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures (if not better). It is a beautiful house and the garden and pool are lovely. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice quiet neighbourhood with good transport links to Uppsala and Stockholm. There's also a supermarket around a ten minute walk from the property. If we ever return to Uppsala we will definitely book Erik's accommodation again. We had a wonderful stay and cannot fault Erik or the property at all.

We travelled from Canada and stayed at this beautiful property in July of 2024. Four adults and two children were very well accommodated and the host was very responsive. Small details like childrens books and activities left for use were so kind and appreciated. All information regarding the house itself, the grounds and pool and many local recos and tips were shared which made our stay seamless. The home is large and beautifully decorated. Our children enjoyed the pool during their visit, making our vacation that much more enjoyable. Pool depth is such that older children can touch bottom but deep enough to cool off, even for adults (shoulder depth). The property is private and lush with beautiful gardens. The neighbors are friendly and the area seemed family oriented and safe. The metro station is a quick walk away and from there you can get to downtown Stockholm easily. Should we return to Stockholm, the first place we would check for accomodation would be with this host.

The house was absolutely stunning. We were three adults and six kids. The first thing the kids did when we reached the place was to jump into the swimming pool. The house was spacious, clean and family-friendly. A beautiful garden too. They had table tennis, board games, and lots of other facilities that the kids loved. Not to mention, the neighbourhood-cat that comes around for a visit. Anna-Karin was very responsive and friendly during all communication. It was definitaly the perfect stay. The kids did not want to leave. Thanks for everything.

We were 3 families with teenage children and had a fabulous week staying in this house. So much space to eat, hang out, play games and cook. It was so well thought out and we’ll equipped that we didn’t need to think about anything extra. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home Henrik.
