We had a really nice time and enjoyed the lovely neighborhood, the convenience of being close to great restaurants and downtown, and the genuine kindness from James and his sweet pup, Lola. The home provided a comfortable place to wind down after busy days out and about. We got a kick out of the visit from the neighborhood wild turkey, Monty.

Beautiful downstairs apartment with private entrance. Felt very private from the main house. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large space and spotlessly clean! Lots of thought went into everything you might need. Snacks and drinks in kitchen and bath amenities. Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows top notch. Easy walking distance to beautiful Main Street with great food and shopping.

This sweet place is lovely, peaceful, private but also social if you prefer, walkable, safe, and has everything you could need. I appreciated having a dedicated off-street parking spot during my stay. Everything is clean and fresh and well thought out. The bed was a dream and the linens were exquisite, must have been a very high thread count. This was the perfect base to explore Asheville from and thanks to Emilie’s recommendations, I had exceptional local experiences. I will definitely be back for another stay at the Chestnut Street Inn!

So glad we found this place! The location was perfect for an overnight stay as a family of 4 (young kiddos and a large puppy 100+ lbs). The host was super easy going, very quick to respond, flexible regarding checkout time, + went out of his way to assist us in booking a future reservation at this listing. The apartment was spotless + the fenced in yard with a swing set was ideal for the kids + dog to burn up some energy once we arrived. The pillows and beds were comfy as well. The large updated bathroom was great and the shampoo, body wash, and hand soap smelled SO good—I even took pics so I can get some for home. Most places seem to have the tiniest sinks and very little space for personal items, so I really appreciated the large bench beneath the bathroom window, right next to the sink—perfect for accessing items easily. The desk in the bedroom was also a nice touch—worked perfectly as a vanity. There aren’t ceiling fans, so if you’re used to sleeping with one, pack a travel fan.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable- I wish the weather was warm enough to take advantage of the beautiful balcony! Definitely loved that the complex was right next to the Greenway, a walkable path next to the river. Walkable to campus and downtown. Windy was super easy to work with- very responsive when we had plans change at the last minute. I'm looking forward to staying with Windy next time I'm in Athens.

We love it! The space is very quiet. You couldn’t hear the doors or bathroom from the bedrooms! It was great for multiple people! We walked to New Berlin and back, loved Taco Billy’s! We would book again for sure!

Perfect for what I needed- a quick place to stay for the night, close to the airport, before an early flight home. 6 minutes from the Airbnb to ALV. Cozy spot with everything we needed for the night. 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Thanks Elizabeth!

This was one of the most adventurous spring breaks I’ve ever had. Glenn’s place was not only relaxing, scenic, and had wonderful accommodations, but Glenn has been the best host I’ve ever had. After having car troubles (busted radiator), Glenn drove me and my friend to a local mechanic he knew to get the job done. Glenn and his wife, Christy, always made sure be and my friend were having fun and I’m safe hands. If you ever stay in Glenn’s cabin, which I highly recommend you do, you’ll have to ask Glenn about his life, one of the most interesting stories I’ve ever heard from anyone!

This property made you fall in love with the family who owned it. You could tell they worked very hard to make it unique. The hand built furniture gave it an old world cabin feel. It is located 1 mile from the train station and was just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything, absolutely beautiful view. This place is worth every penny. Comfortable furniture, easy to get to, close to Waynesville and Asheville. My only complaint (and this is entirely personal preference) is the artificial fragrance used on the sheets/towels was very strong. I have asthma and allergies and found it a little overwhelming. But again this is personal preference and doesn’t take away from this beautiful place. Thank you Jose!

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Air! The spot was lovely, and Michael was a super responsive and friendly host. The place was clean, cozy, and safe. We loved our time there and would visit again!

Loved our stay in Candler. The host was easy going, dog friendly, and obviously cares about the property. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and a lot of extras. The hot tub was perfectly balanced and relaxing. There were ample linens and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture. And beautiful landscape. Not far from Asheville and had several hiking options within a few minutes drive. We will plan this trip again!

Denise’s home was so beautiful and cozy! It was wonderfully peaceful, great for a little getaway after my busy season at work. The house was incredibly clean and I enjoyed the hot tub and fresh pumpkin bread!

This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. Frank and Peter made our visit so comfortable, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay in Asheville. They were quick to respond to messages and kindly greeted us upon our arrival with a quick tour of the space. They were so welcoming to our dog, and they left such thoughtful gifts for all of us! The space was very clean and extremely well-stocked with everything we needed. The beautiful neighborhood was easy to walk around with our dog and great restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops were a close and convenient walk. We were in town for the Asheville marathon, and we had everything we needed to make the race weekend easy and comfortable. It was also SO nice to be able to enjoy the hot tub afterwards. We will definitely come back again!!

Our host, Alex, was terrific. Very friendly, responsive and kindly lent my husband a belt for an event we attended as he forgot to pack his own from home! The space is perfect and meticulously clean. Bed is very comfortable and kitchen has lots of pans to use for cooking which we appreciated. WiFi is good as we needed to work remotely for a day there (desk, kitchen table and covered outdoor picnic table provided lots of space). Not to mention aesthetically, it is a gorgeous place. Alex suggested a great park around the block (Bent Creek Community Center) and the neighborhood is walkable. Of course Bent Creek has fantastic trails close by. Highly recommended staying here! You won’t be disappointed.
