So far our most beautiful and cosiest accomodation in Sri Lanka. The elevated palm-leaf coverd huts located in a lovely garden with palm trees, pepper, different kinds of fruit and flowers at the edge of the lake is outstanding. The waterbuffalos are grazing in the water right next to the bungalow! We also were very happy with the safari organised by the host. Our driver Bindu always found a way to avoid the big crowd and had a unique sense for beeing at the right place on the right time without any rushing (as it seems to be common in Yala NP). Thanks to him we were able to see anything the park has to offer almost on our own.

This has been our favourite stay of Sri Lanka. Dileepa was so attentive, helpful and friendly, always there to assist. The room and balcony is beautiful with amazing views across the jungle. Don’t be put off by the distance into town - it’s so worth it for this slice of paradise. Thank you Dileepa and family!!! 🥹🤗

Pleasant Stay with Great Food! The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and we felt at ease during our stay. However, due to the location in the valley and the nearby road, it can be a bit noisy at times. A highlight was definitely the food – the cooking class is a must! The dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients straight from the garden and were among the best we had in Sri Lanka. The host family was very friendly and helpful. Although the accommodation is slightly outside the town, they organized transport for us at any time, making it easy to get around. Overall, a very good stay – thank you!

Lasitha war äußerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und hat uns jederzeit ein Tuktuk organisiert, um in die Stadt und wieder zurück zu kommen. Auch waren wir im Check-out flexibel.Wir hatten ein köstliches Abendessen und ein tolles Frühstück. Die Unterkunft liegt etwa 30min zu Fuß von Ella entfernt und die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Das Baumhaus ist sehr gemütlich, aber recht einfach ausgestattet. In der Hängematte auf der Veranda kann man Affen und Eichhörnchen beobachten. Ein echtes Erlebnis!

Nuwan's place is a calm destination located at a reasonable distance from the hustle of Ella city. We stayed in a treehouse which though came with its own challenges such as some insects (coz it's a tree house ultimately), but the team there tried their best to resolve the issues. They were ready to help 24x7.

DasHausliegt mitten im Dschungel, das Team von nilanatha war inmer freundlichund hilfsbereit, wir wurden rundum mit Essen versorgt. Das beste aber ist die geführte dschungeltour mit den Guids.wasserfälle, naturpur und tolle Ausblicke . Für trekking Liebhaber genau richtig. Zusätzlich gibt es die Möglichkeit eine tagestour per tuktuk zum Mini littles end zu machen.

We had the best time in Ajith's amazing treehouse, which is built in and around a giant Mango tree. The treehouse itself is marvel and absolutely beautifully crafted. It feels spacious, yet cosy inside and we wanted for nothing. We loved spending time out on the deck watching beautiful birds and playful squirrels jumping through the trees and feasting on fruit that Ajith leaves for them. The property as a whole is beautiful and full of wonderful fruit and spice trees. Ajith is also a talented and passionate gardener and we had several conversations about about our shared love of gardening and botany. Ajith was a kind and friendly host, as was another gentleman who was always present to provide us with anything we needed or provide us with tips and advice for activities. They were so considerate, bringing mosquito coils or tea up into the treehouse for us. Also, the food we had for breakfast and dinner was exceptional, the best we have had in our two weeks in Sri Lanka. We fell in love.

We loved our stay at The Treehouse! We stayed with our 18m old and had a lovely time. We loved it so much I even tried to stay an extra night but they were too busy! The location was just so relaxing and peaceful. It rained during our stay and laying on the hammocks on the deck watching the mountain side and monkeys in the trees was gorgeous. Location was a short Tuktuk into town and Damith’s staff were able to take us in or around to local sights. The food was such a highlight. Everything was home cooked and just so delicious!!! It was some of the best food of our trip.
