Great family friendly house. Clean and well equipped. Ben was helpful and responded quickly. House has aircons and a pool which helps with the bushveld heat. Great bush break away!

Had a wonderful Christmas weekend at Luna Rossa. The host was very responsive and attentive. The house is spacious, private and has all the amenities from the photographs including a pool and jacuzzi. Zebula Golf Estate and Spa, that the house is situated on, has various activities and amenities to enjoy. Would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kileneni Ranch. It was incredible to see all the animals up close, right from the front porch. The kitchen supplies were well stocked. There was more than enough wood for a bonfire every night. It was fantastic to get away from the city for a long weekend in nature. Although the dirt road is 21km in length, it is well worth the drive. We were so greatful to be able to take our dogs along, just remember to inspect your dogs for ticks after the trip. Can't wait for our next visit!

An absolutely fantastic getaway! The Bungalow exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect escape from the city. The natural hot spring was undoubtedly the highlight—soaking in the 50°C mineral-rich water under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautifully secluded, offering complete privacy with stunning riverfront views, mountain scenery, and an abundance of birdlife. It’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature at its finest. The bungalow itself has a unique rustic Mediterranean-African charm, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The braai and pizza oven were great additions, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. We also appreciated the fast WiFi, which worked even when there were temporary power trips (to clarify—there was no load shedding during our stay). A standout experience was the magical three-course meal Schalk arranged for us atop one of the nearby mountains.

We booked John’s place for the weekend with a group of 12 friends. The place is absolutely amazing, even better than expected. The rooms are big and beds are very comfortable, the common space was perfect for our group. John was also extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!!

Sometimes getting completely OFF THE GRID and spending time with family and friends with no distractions, no wifi, no cellphone reception, solar electricity and a donkey geyser, collecting freshly laid eggs in the morning etc is so good for the soul. What an amazing place for a break from our busy lifestyles, a working farm/game farm with wildebeest and farm animals on your stoep, at night light a boma and watch the stars and milky way and listen to jackals in the distance, I will remember this getaway for a long time 🤩🙏🙏🙏
