Absolutely lovely home surrounded by beautiful nature. Home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and great for cooking. Bedrooms are comfortable. Living room is cozy and comfortable, with access to Netflix and HBO. Kuba is a great host, highly responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again the next time I’m in Lofoten Islands. This was a beautiful little house looking over the water and mountains. It was spotless and so well equipped with comfy single beds and washer/dryer in basement. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you

We stayed at Freddie & Marianne’s place as part of our honeymoon for a week. It is such a stunning house and location. We both said that it was our favourite location we had ever visited. The house is kitted out with everything you could need and both Freddie & Marianne were very responsive if we needed anything. Easy to find on the map. We were initially planning to arrive by bus but instead chose to rent a car last minute which we are so glad we did. There is so much to explore locally as well as in the more classic spots like Svolvær. Can’t wait till we can come back here. Thanks again Freddie & Marianne for an amazing stay 😊😊

We had the most amazing time staying at The Fridda House. The property is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean and I think the bed maybe one of the comfiest we have stayed in. The views from the house were stunning with each window offering a better view than the one before and the location was perfect and we were able to explore Lofoten easily from there. Our hosts couldn't have been better and absolutely made our trip for us - they sure know how to go above and beyond! They helped us make the most of our time with the best recommendations. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived and we are already planning our trip back. If you are looking to visit Lofoten then this is the place to stay.

We have had 4 wonderful days. The sorroundings are wonderful, we went hiking and swimming, we ate blueberries, cloudberries, raspberries... Your beaches are spectacular. The lady at the shop has been amiable and friendly. And we really enjoy your house, its vivid colours, its ancient roots, its old wooden floor, its vintage forniture.

This was our favorite place we stayed while on our trip to Norway. We wish we could have stayed a few more days. The loft is spacious, had plenty of places to sleep for our family of 6, loved having two bathrooms, and the open kitchen/ family area was perfect. Note that there are two bedrooms on the main level and two loft bedrooms that require climbing ladders. Our teenagers were fine climbing up and down. There were plenty of plates, cups, and utensils. Communication with our host was wonderful and it was so nice that we got to meet Susanne. Probably the best thing about this property is the location. The area is beautiful and we loved being by the water. Renting kayaks was a must and using the sauna was great. We were only two hours from Å, so we had plenty of time to explore a lot of the Lofoten islands. And there was no cleanup required upon check out. 10/10 for this awesome rental.

Place with a great view

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The positioning of the home allows for inside viewing of the Northern Lights. We also were treated to a NL performance in the spa! If you are looking to relax and seek calm, this is your place.

Wir waren als Familie zu viert neun Tage in Cecilies Familienhyttte. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist sehr schön, für Kinder traumhaft geeignet. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr authentisch und gemütlich. ohne modischen Schnickschnack. Man kann somit auch Regentage sehr angenehm verbringen, wenns Kalt sein sollte sorgen die beiden Kaminöfen für Gemütlichkeit. Das von anderen schon berichtete Thema mit dem Toilettenpapier hat uns nicht gestört. Trinkwasser muss man regelmäßig kaufen, weil das Wasser aus der Leitung etwas salzig ist. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut geeignet um von dort die Lofoten zu erkunden, auch mit dem E-Auto absolut problemlos. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist aus unserer Sicht im Hinblick auf die Wasser- und Toilettenthematik nicht ganz angemessen, auch wenn die tolle Lage und die sympathische Einrichtung dies schnell vergessen macht.

Had a great stay at this place in Lofoten. Great views, a nice and well equipped kitchen, and comfy beds. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights right outside the cabin. Highly recommend.

We loved the cabin very much, it felt like a home. Petter and Thea were very responsive and friendly, and all was as described. The highlight was an hour-long display of Northern Lights that were visible right from the porch in front of the cabin! We will come back, should we visit this part of the world again :-)

We had a lovely stay in Vegard’s cabin! The house was VERY well equipped with anything you could possibly need during your stay. The hot tub is huge, and he provides helpful instructions for use/chemicals before check-in and written in English on the bottle of active oxygen. Being from Florida, we shamefully struggled to light a fire to heat the house, but Vegard offered tips and support including offering to spread our ashes in a beautiful location should we burn down the house! The location is perfect for exploring Lofoten, and we were very comfortable during our stay!
