You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

My wife and I spent two weeks in French Polynesia, and visited four islands. Raiatea was our favourite and Thierry and his place are what truly made the difference. The location is stunning, with a beautiful deck right on the ocean, and the possibility to snorkel or kayak in the lagoon. The bungalow is exactly as described, it has a tropical and authentic vibe and has everything you need for a lovely stay. But the best thing was Thierry himself. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to share his culture and his knowledge of the place. He took us to a nearby motu for a fantastic morning of snorkelling and spearfishing, and made us some lovely meals. During our stay, we were also lucky to meet his family, and he invited us to join them for dinner as if we were part of them. Should we go back to Raiatea in the future, we have no doubt we will be staying at Le Noha again!

Very pretty place, our hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. We felt right at home and the place has a great snorkeling spot right in front.

Spectacular. Wake up in your own private bungalow on the water and snorkel right off the small pier. Just as described, the bungalow has everything you need. Françoise is a wonderful host and was always available. You will want transportation, as the location is a bit far from everything, but that makes for a delightfully peaceful stay. We also took a water excursion from Watercolor Nui located right next-door and had a fabulous time. Would recommend all of this!

La maison de Christian est grande et bien située car à 5 minutes en voiture du centre-ville. Elle est en face de la mer mais ne vous attendez pas à vous y baigner (l’eau ne donne pas vraiment envie…). La maison est très ouverte donc pas de climatisation, mais il y a des ventilateurs dans les chambres. Attention aussi aux moustiques qui sont nombreux. Bon séjour dans l’ensemble.

Excellent séjour. Jean-Marc et Casey ont été vraiment accueillants et sympas et le logement était top. Je le recommande vivement, vous allez passer un très bon séjour à Raiatea.

Élégante simplicité du logement , heureuse harmonie des couleurs, sanitaires parfaits, petit café prévu pour le p’tit dej face à Bora Bora…que demander de plus? et bien oui, cerise sur le gâteau, l’accueil extrêmement chaleureux d’Anaïs et de Grégory! Cette petite parenthèse a Taha’a fut ainsi un vrai bonheur… Nous recommandons chaudement cette adresse, bien sûr.

Logement situé dans un Havre de paix, au calme et extrêmement propre. L'hôte était là pour m'accueillir. Ce sont des gens très agréables, réactifs et généreux. Je recommande vivement

Wow, what a place to stay! The views were unbelievable. You stay in a private bungalow that feels like you are in a tree house. You wake up every morning and get to look at a most amazing view of the ocean and see the sunrise. The amount of sea life we saw hanging out on the pontoon was unreal. The best thing about the place though is Tama and his family. They would give us suggestions of places to see, things todo and places to eat and every suggestion was great. When you stay here you don’t feel like a customer but part of their family. Tama and his family are the kindest people you will meet. I feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Tama’s place and experience Taha’a like I did. An unforgettable special vacation! We can’t wait for our next time here!
