The Super Host title Menelaos holds is well deserved. Like all the guests who have stayed at this home we were given great tips and valuable information regarding Old Town Chania. The generosity provided us was one of a kind in terms of very useful items left in the apartment. Watermelon, mango, a great many oranges, apples, peaches and lemons, lots of wine, coffee, beautiful honeys, olive oils, nuts, pistachios, Asian mix and candy’s. Incredible. The washing machine does a great job and there is both a drying rack and a clothes line in the large back deck. The AirBnb description does not tell of the smart TV which allows many guests from many countries to watch TV and we also enjoyed the water filtration that is in the kitchen. I have severe food allergies so most of our meals were made at home and unlike most AirBnbs every possible gadget required to make good meals was supplied. We stayed a week and were quite sad to leave as we felt right at home in Menelaos’ place.

Excellent value for money. It has everything you need for a medium length stay - well equipped kitchen, iron & ironing board, even provided slippers and toothbrush. A cleaner came during our stay (I assume this is a weekly thing) which was nice to refresh the apartment. Parking was easy (there was usually space right outside, and if not, very close by). Dimitris was a fantastic host who responded really quickly all the time. He went above and beyond, providing some great recommendations for our stay and even sending some beach towels for us to use. We had no problems during our stay, but I have total faith that Dimitris would have solved them quickly if we had.

Wir waren für vier Nächte in Marias Wohnung und würden gerne wiederkommen. Marias Bruder hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und den Parkplatz gezeigt. Wir haben einen zweiten Schlüssel bekommen und einen zweiten Satz Bettwäsche. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, hell und liebevoll ausgestattet. Zum schönen Sandstrand und Supermarkt waren es nur ein paar Meter, die Stadt und der Hafen mit unzähligen Tavernen und Bars war in 5 Minuten zu erreichen.

We stayed here for 4 days and had a great visit! Wonderful and responsive host who provided easy instructions on arriving and even waited up for us as our late night 2200 flight arrived. The place is very well laid out with an amazing view of the water, feels very warm and cozy. Great recommendations and help provided throughout the trip, even allowing us to stay a few extra hours so we can catch our flight out straight from the place. Would give more than 5 stars if I could, this is a wonderful place for a couples’ getaway and we will surely look to stay here again when we return to Chania!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 giorni in un bellissimo appartamento, pulitissimo ed attrezzatissimo. L’appartamento si trova a circa 10/15 minuti dal centro di Chania, davanti ad un supermercato e a nostro parere, si trova alla giusta distanza da tutte le spiagge più belle (1.45h max). L’ordine, la pulizia e l’attrezzatura dell’appartamento ci ha consentito di viverci il soggiorno al massimo! Vorrei riservare un grazie speciale alla carinissima Chrysoula. È stata gentilissima, socievole e disponibile a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda. È stata la prima persona del posto che abbiamo conosciuto e ci ha veramente scaldato il cuore conoscerla…grazie! Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie mille!

We had a fantastic 7 night stay at Villa Life. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped and the pool and outside areas (including a mini gym which we weren’t expecting) were excellent. Antonis and Eleni were friendly and responsive hosts, sorting us out with a superb value car rental and responding to all queries very quickly. Plenty of parking and a short walk to lovely restaurants. Overall fully recommend!

הגענו לחאניה על מנת להכיר את האזור והעיר חאניה. שהינו בדירה 6 ימים. הגענו לחאניה בטיסה מאוחרת ,המארח יאניס ביקש שכשנצא משדה התעופה לעדכן אותו וכך עשינו. כשהגענו לרחוב בשעה 23:30 וחיפשנו חניה , פנה אילנו אדם ושאל האם אנחנו לדירה, הופתענו מהשאלה והסתבר שזה יאניס בעל הדירה שהמתין לנו וארגן לנו חניה, ( שיטת הצ'ק אין , מפתח בכספת עם קוד). יאניס ליווה אותנו למרות השעה המאוחרת הסביר בפרוטרוט על הדירה , ועל האטרקציות באזור. הדירה מאובזרת בצורה מושלמת . המארח דאג שבדירה יהיו פירות , לחם ,מים ואפילו בקבוק ראקי. הדירה נמצאת ברחוב הראשי של חאניה וקרובה מאוד לעיר העתיקה ולנמל הונציאני , למרות שהדירה נמצאת ברחוב הראשי בתוך הדירה היה שקט ונעים. אנחנו נהננו מהשהות בדירה וממליצים בחום על יאניס האדם השרותי והאדיב.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's. It is spacious and really well located, just one block back from the very pretty port and its huge selection of restaurants. It is a fifteen minute walk from the bus station. We loved the roof terrace, but the spiral staircase access would be a challenge for anyone with mobility limitations (see photo in the listing). Being located in an urban area and not having double glazing, there was an inevitable element of noise, but it didn't bother us. Anna was very responsive, helpful and responsive to our requests. It was great value and we would happily stay there again.

Wir waren im November für drei Tage in der Unterkunft und sehr zufrieden. Nachts kann es schon etwas kühler werden, da es ein Steinhaus ist, aber es gab einen Ofen und genug Feuerholz, also kein Problem! Ansonsten waren Electra und Theodoris SEHR zuvorkommend, wir haben sogar selbstgemachtes Gebäck bekommen und viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Dusche + Toilette befinden sich nicht in der Unterkunft, man muss in den Hinterhof in einen extra Raum. Uns störte das aber nicht. Alles in allem ist es sehr ruhig und privat am Dorfrand umgeben von Olivenbäumen. Tendenziell würden wir aber eher im Sommer wiederkommen 😊

We had a delightful stay at this charming Airbnb. Upon our arrival, the host prepared a delicious fresh salad from her garden and gifted us oranges from her trees. It was the best fruit and vegetables we had during our time in Crete. On our departure day, her husband also made us a traditional breakfast dish, which was a wonderful treat. The absolute highlight was the Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed every evening.

Krysanthi und ihre Tochter Melina waren unglaublich nette, hilfreiche und informative Gastgeber. Das Häuschen ist zwar klein, aber sehr liebevoll mit Bildern und Wandmalereien von Krysanthi geschmückt. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Region zu erkunden! Absolute Empfehlung.

Giannis place is just perfect for a family wishing to stay right in the centre of old town Chania. The location just can’t be beat and the house is just fantastic and very well accommodated with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family with kids. I highly recommend Yiannis place.

Mike is super nice and the flat is very comfortable and sourounded by mountains. Is really nice for hiking trips as well as relaxing and sitting on the terrace and having dinner. There are 4 taverns/ hotel kitchens in omalus, which are ok tastewise. But you can also cook at Mike apartment. His raki is tasty and the olive oil also very nice. Also it’s just 5min from the Samaria entrance by car.

appartement fonctionnel et superbe terrasse. Maria est présente pour vous guider à votre arrivée et pour toute question avant ou pendant le séjour. Bien placé pour la plage d'Elafonisi, et pour aller à Paleochora, village charmant et calme avec de belles plages.

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

Το σπίτι ήταν άνετο και κατάλληλο για τη διαμονή δύο οικογενειών με μικρά παιδιά. Η τοποθεσία του είναι εξαιρετική, στο κέντρο της πόλης, με σχετικά εύκολο παρκάρισμα στους γύρω δρόμους και δίπλα στα μεγαλύτερα και πιο γνωστά εμπορικά καταστήματα. Όλα όσα αναφέρονται στην περιγραφή της καταχώρησης και οι φωτογραφίες ανταποκρίνονται πλήρως στην πραγματικότητα. Το μοναδικό σημείο που χρειάζεται διευκρίνιση είναι ότι το Netflix παρέχεται ως εφαρμογή στην τηλεόραση, αλλά απαιτεί δική σας συνδρομή και προσωπικούς κωδικούς για πρόσβαση. Θα ήταν ιδανικό αν υπήρχε ένα δεύτερο μπάνιο, αλλά κατά τα άλλα η διαμονή μας ήταν άριστη. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός. Συστήνω το κατάλυμα ανεπιφύλακτα!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön! Die Lage ist zentral in almyrida. Man kann von dem Balkon aus auf das Meer schauen. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

קבלת הפנים היתה מאד חמה ולבבית. הדירה היתה מאד נקייה ומסודרת . המארחים היו חברותיים וזמינים מיידית לכל שאלה והמליצו על מסעדות באזור. הדירה נמצאת במקום נחמד ולא רחוק מהמרכז. והאנטרנט מצויין (אני עובדת מרחוק והיה בשבילי נהדר). ממליצה בחום!
