We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is in hills of Haiphong and it was great. The house itself is gorgeous and clean and has all amenities needed for cooking for yourself. It also has a great little pool and nice outdoor areas. Location-wise, the home was a 15 min walk from the town however it's at the top of a very steep hill, meaning walking to the town was fine, but we got Grabs back up afterwards. It was difficult to get Grabs to pick us up from our airbnb, maybe because it's on a new estate and so the taxi drivers were unfamiliar with the area. Haiphong is not very touristy & thus there weren't many available Grabs, even in the town. One trick we found was to go to the FLC hotel that is a 5 min walk away and order a taxi through their concierge. We also went to the rooftop bar there which was stunning. The area is quite the ghost town and even though the huge FLC hotel is right next door, we barely saw any tourists. Overall though, it was exactly what we needed/wanted!

The host was wonderful , responsive and helpful. We had a great stay, the apartment was very close to all the major markets.

The Green Pearl Hotel was a great place to stay, pictures were accurate and room was nice and clean. Definitely would recommend!

Amazing place

My friends and we stayed at this place for one night and this honestly was one of the best accommodation experiences in Asia in my life. Everything was so nice. The house is awesome! It feels like home. All rooms were clean and Jay prepared everything what we needed. Also he was open for our special requests, but we didn’t have one. Highly recommend this place in Ha Long! There are also many restaurants around, you can walk there - the surroundings are beautiful as well. Thank you Jay for this beautiful place!

What an incredible experience! Beautiful location, amazing meals (thanks Toan!), kind people :) Communication from Hoa, who sent a message the day of reservation, was consistent and so helpful. Shared space in common area with rad people from all over the world. Our room was pretty small and the door was a little tough to use, but totally cozy and no complaints. Awesome experience and would love to have stayed longer.

Amazing stay at Lan Homestay! Chilly was helpful, very responsive, gave great recommendations and booked many things for us. Thanh was also amazing showing us around. The village was quiet in the evening and had beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend the day cruise and walking up Navy hill.
