Andrea’s place is perfect. We evacuated for Milton with our kids and Fur babes. We could not have ended up in a better spot to taking in the peace and calm in stark comparison to our obsessive tracking of the hurricane 🤣 Thank you so much to Andrea and fam. We look forward to return 💕

Great location close to Raleigh and the Kerr lake recreation area! The house was cozy and is perfect for a couple for a weekend getaway! The home is well equipped and the additional bedroom at the top is a nice touch! Great location with close proximity (20+ mins) to the Kerr Lake recreation area. Some great restaurants at a driving distance (20+ mins). You can walk to a portion of the lake through the gravel path at the back of the house and we enjoyed that every much with our AM coffee! Communication with Thomas was easy and he was responsive to all our questions! Bottom line - would highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for our 10 year anniversary and it was the perfect spot! So quiet and peaceful and the most beautiful surroundings. Amanda was very helpful with recommendations and quick to respond. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. :)

What a peaceful and beautiful home! Andrew was very responsive and helpful. Home is quiet, comfortable, and was very well stocked. I could tell Andrew put a lot of thought into accommodating guests. We loved spending time at the dock and can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this property! It was conveniently close to the John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir, so getting to fish there was lots of fun. The kayaks at the property were a great addition and made fishing on the property a lot more accessible. There’s deep water right in the middle of the cove where the property is located so catching catfish was a breeze. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and was a very comfortable stay.

This place is very beautiful within walking distance of one of the state parks in Henderson would recommend driving there, but it is in walking distance. This was perfect for a group of guys to get together to play airsoft at the state national Park. The only negative is that the beds were a little uncomfortable, but the aesthetic of the home is almost breathtaking. If you are staying here, I would recommend bringing a little mattress topper.

Kevin was very responsive and kind. He took time to contact us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable. The wildlife in the yard everyday was just like home. I will definitely rebook with him again.

Staying at Tanya's felt like home. She ensured comfort and satisfaction. She was always available and showed concern. It is in a nice new neighborhood that's family oriented. If I am ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate staying here. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great Stay for a Metal Detecting Trip Overall, this was a great stay for our group of eight on a week-long metal detecting trip. The house was comfortable and worked well for our needs. A few notes for future guests: 1. Check-In: Be sure to call the listed phone number for check-in instructions rather than relying on Airbnb Messenger. 2. Bedding: Not all beds had sheets when we arrived, but Gary quickly resolved this. 3. Guest Confusion: We had a few random visitors asking where to check in for the camp, which was unexpected. We directed them to Gary, but it seems check-in for the cottages on the property can be unclear for some guests. 4. Kitchen Supplies: The house could use more pots and pans, especially frying pans. 5. Hot Water: Plenty of hot water for eight guys showering—no issues there! Sleeping Arrangements: • 2 Guests on Cots: One in the downstairs den, one in the upstairs living room • Bedroom Setup: • 1 Room: 2 Single Beds – Shared Bath • 1 Queen – Private Bath
