We had a great getaway at Jana’s little cottage! The house is very close to downtown and walkable to all the bars and restaurants. The house itself is perfect for a couple or small family. It has a great view of the marina and is a very peaceful and calm place to relax in. Jana was a great host and helped answer any questions we had! Would highly recommend.

We had the best long weekend getaway here: Shipwreck Cove is a cool, cozy space full of personality and homey, special touches. Tim and Nicole were generous, caring, and wonderfully communicative hosts: we had a mishap around check-in that they resolved with grace and warmth, which basically tells you all you need to know about the overall experience of staying here! We would definitely return!

Brent and Suzy were so accommodating and responsive. Anything we needed or asked about they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We appreciated the local expertise. The accommodations had everything we needed and was comfortable. We would stay here again!

Just when you feel like you can’t find a better place than the last, one comes along that takes the cake. This is one of those. A really charming place that delivers in so many ways. Great location - peaceful, quiet, but not too remote, beautiful views of the water, ocean birds, and sunsets. The house itself is very well appointed. Quality furnishings - from the cozy couch to the plush king bed that raises and lowers to your preferred sleeping/lounging position. The kitchen is no less impressive, with every utensil you would need - and not cheap ones. From the high-quality sharp knives to the designer napkins. Same goes for the high grade soaps and lotions in the bathroom and a toilet that keeps your bum warm. And while some hosts put out a few crackers and cookies to greet guests, Lynn and Brad go way beyond. But I won’t spoil more surprises by getting too detailed. There may not be a lot of storage space, but they have more than compensated in other ways. Hats off to Lynn and Brad!

We can’t say enough about Shoal Bay. We all absolutely loved it (3 and 5 year old kids included). Endless exploring to be had, followed by wonderful, peaceful evenings. Cynthia and Mark are truly wonderful hosts and we cannot wait to come back. They went above our expectations, creating a wonderful wood fired pizza experience, trail recommendations and an opportunity to make pottery for the kids and us. Thank you both for sharing your space with us!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Seahaven, the decor, ambience and location was perfect. Michelle was very attentive and helpful in telling us what activities were available in the surrounding areas. But, to be honest, staying at Seahaven was the highlight for us all, the scenery, wildlife, beach and gardens made us feel like we didn’t need to leave to do much exploring, it was all on our doorstep. Watching the wildlife every morning was magical, sea lions, birds and cats all made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. 4 days wasn’t long enough!

We have stayed here multiple times and always love it. Beautiful views, lots of space, and great hosts. We were there during a terrible storm, which knocked power out on the whole island. Erika and Rob were super helpful and responsive and helped us get the generator going so we had all the essential power we needed. Highly recommend.

From amazing communication to more amenities than advertised we were beyond happy with this stay. The house has everything you could need to play in the adjacent ocean or cook or BBQ. We were able to see so many things right from the deck, yard or beach : seals, little deer, bunnies, shells, starfish, clams, crabs, heron and many more. It’s walking distance to a little local pub but call first as tables and even food was limited. Lots of near by hikes through moss filled forests with huge old trees and we even saw a family of bears. Highly recommend this peaceful vacation spot.

You would be very fortunate to stay here at Avis place in Vancouver. Super location with easy access to all public transport. House warm and welcoming, with all you need, home from home. Avi very responsive host and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will stay again for sure

Even BETTER than described in listing! We pulled into the driveway and were speechless. The view is perfect, the air is clean, and you can’t help but immediately feel a wave of relaxation. The house was beautiful with more than enough room for our family of 3. We cooked meals in-house each night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Linens and toiletries were available in the house. We enjoyed games from the hall cabinet and found the binoculars useful as we tried to spot wildlife outside. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were wonderful and we took advantage of the downstairs space each evening. The exercise building on property will certainly meet your needs. And the breathtaking view! We loved walking down to the dock to watch the water creatures- even jellyfish! We enjoyed the Sooke area very much during our stay, from watching the sea lions play at Gordon’s beach to biking the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. We had an outstanding time and are ready to return ASAP.

Katie and Coopers place was a perfect stay as it is very clean, new and equipped with high standard, in a quiet neighborhood. Remarkable to me was the possibility to use a specially for the AirBnB created Netflix account, which was perfect for the rainy afternoon we had. Would definitely come back for a second stay.

Cozy and quiet place. Far from the road so it feels like you really live in a forest and still close to beautiful beaches. Chris is a great host, responded to all our inquiries. Will be happy to stay here again

Gail’s place was a great home base for our outdoor adventures. It was extremely cozy and all of the personal touches were very thoughtful. We will for sure be back!
