Had awesome stay! House was amazing had everything we needed. The backyard oasis was amazing! Would stay there again in a heart beat.

The host was very responsive and always answered any questions we had. The place was very spacious and welcoming with many places to sleep. We had an amazing time in the backyard around the fire pit, and close to amenities in case we needed something. Highly recommend staying here as a little get away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was better than we expected. There was lots of room and the bedrooms are spread out so everyone had privacy. We hope to return.

Had a great stay here with my two kids and our dog. Stayed for two weeks and would definitely recommend for long stays. The place has everything you need and close to shops to get anything else you might be looking for. Grocery delivery availabe, Uber eats too in case you don’t feel like cooking and plenty of local attractions to keep you busy!

Lovely home to stay, quiet, spacious, good green space for dogs, super access to ocean, everything we needed. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Two vehicles able to park outside at unit. Restaurants and shops 5-15 minutes away. Good beds and linens. Take your favourite staples if you cook in more. Quick responsive hosts.

We travelled to Vancouver Island over Easter week for a family getaway. Deanna’s Good Life House was the perfect place for us. We had two couples, my 14 months old grandbaby and me. The baby equipment was much appreciated as it saved us having to haul extras on the plane. We used Shawnigan Lake as our home base for the week as we explored parts of Vancouver Island. We also enjoyed the pickleball courts, beach, pitch and putt, playground and kayaks at the resort. This is a lovely part of the island and is a peaceful and relaxing location. Thank you Deanna for being such a helpful and responsive host!

La vue de la maison est proprement exceptionnelle. On se sent très privilégié d’être sur cette terrasse construite autour d’un arbutus. L’intérieur de la maison est conforme aux photos, agréable et plutôt bien équipée. Éric nous a donné des conseils très utiles pour visiter l’île et nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

words can’t describe how amazing this home is! the view of the olympics and beach access made our vacation truly special! the home was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, including plenty of beach towels, a few toys for the kiddos, books and even binoculars! we will absolutely be back!

We visited Lopez Island for a quick weekend away and are so happy we chose Linnea’s place. The house was very charming and included everything we need while there. Its location was perfect (right in the heart of the village so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops). Also, the bed upstairs that we slept in was VERY comfy. Highly recommend. This was a lovely, spacious, very clean, and bright place. Easy access to internet and a lovely tv for my use. Terry was a fabulous host - easy to talk to; very helpful; but otherwise left me to myself. There was much information available in the suite regarding issues within the suite (i.e. how to access items on the tv), plus information about facilities/amenities/restaurants/etc. available in Courtenay/Comox. I can hardly wait to stay there again.

The house had great accommodations and it being right on the water was absolutely perfect. It was so peaceful and serene, wish we could have stayed longer.

It was like home away from home, comfortable, clean and very spacious. My mother especially loved the big tv :)) Accessible to everywhere we needed to go, quiet neighborhood and very friendly host. Checked in in us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We can’t thank you enough, hopefull to come back soon for more adventures!

Our stay at the Dogwood was wonderful. Isabelle treated us with a yummy welcome gift to her clean bright comfy home with all the amenities we could ask for. We loved the openness of the space as well as the fireplace and hot tub. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The Beach House was great! Clean spot, amazing views, cozy living room, functional kitchen, killer sunroom. We had an amazing stay!

Great stay and perfectly scenic location. Had a great time with our group of friends. Perfect place to book for a party of 10. The only issue we faced was that living room sofa didn’t turn into bed. But there were a lot of interesting games. Otherwise all good.

A fantastic place for our extended weekend in Tofino. Clean, spacious, and close to town. I loved the views of green hills from the living room! The tenant in the annex was friendly and respectful - we hardly noticed they were there. Would definitely come here again.
