We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. The hot tub was the real highlight and it was beautifully warm / clean. The property was amazing for children and our young boys loved the tree house climbing frame and being able to feed the sheep / goats. A great stay which we'd definitely recommend.

Absolutely lovely stay in this cottage. Our whole family enjoyed the stay and felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. Christine was always responsive to queries and provided a wealth of information in the welcome pack before we arrived. This enabled us to plan fully and make the most of our time on the new forest.

The cottage is in an excellent location: it is walking distance to two lovely pubs, a well-stocked grocery store and St Catherine’s Oratory. The stars were also amazing! The house is cosy and nicely decorated, and Amy is a responsive and friendly host.

A lovely last minute getaway to the New Forest. Cindy couldn’t have been more accommodating getting some essentials in at short nice (a thoughtful touch at any time) and making lots of great recommendations for the local area. Located a short drive from the main locations and with plenty of forest friends to be seen along the way. The place itself was just as described and so peaceful. It had enough space for our 9 yr old and 5 yr old to sleep across the landing from us comfortably and was surprisingly warm in the bedrooms. Main bed nice and comfy and space downstairs for the 4 of us to unwind after a day out roaming.

We’ve just got back from a short break here and had a great time. We went with our 3 year old and the location is ideal to get to attractions like Exbury and Beaulieu, and the coastal towns in very short car trips. I was worried about finding it but we followed the clear directions exactly and had no issues. The house is clean and comfortable and had everything you will need, as well as a lovely welcome basket. We had a fire in the log burner the first night but then found it so warm and cosy we didn’t need another. Our son loved the animals next door and helping ‘supervise’ loading sheep into the trailer. It is a quiet, peaceful rural location with limited phone signal and WiFi accordingly, although the WiFi is there. This was what we were looking for to help us switch off so didn’t mind at all. You do need to watch out for hot water capacity for the shower - as is clearly stated in the instructions - but I forgot this morning!

We had a wonderful stay at Coleman’s Retreat. We were a group of two families - four adults, four kids and two dogs - and had plenty of space. The living area is just beautiful and the bedrooms spacious. The hot tub really made the stay for us (it was very cold February weather!); it’s very large and over looking the garden, fields and horses. Ashley was very helpful, quick to respond and booked our ferry tickets at a great discount.

We had a great stay, the lodge was easy to find and great location in a lovely area and short walk to the train station for access to the wider area. The spa was a great addition to an overall very relaxing weekend would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone else looking to book.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

We had an amazing stay! The village is lovely with some great cafes in the morning and a good pub in the evening. Some really nice walks close by as well. The house was cosy and clean, loved it!

Lovely cottage in a great location. Plenty of space. We travelled in February and the weather was cold - there was plenty of hot water and the heating kept us warm. Perfect for a family - it allowed us to be together because there’s a big table and lots of sofa space. But it also gave us space for a bit of quiet time - the bedrooms are a good size so the teenager could chill out by themselves. It worked well for us

Spent a very pleasant weekend in the property whilst visiting Titchfield for a family get-together. The cottage, although quite plain from the outside, is full of character, warm and was spotlessly clean. Location is in the centre of the village, two local stores close by (2 min walk) for stocking up food and drink etc. Located on the lane that leads to the church parking can be “problematic” - but that said we had no problems. Good communication from managing team, easy check in and out. Would certainly use again.

Wow! What a find! Cosy , comfortable and very clean . Very well kitted out with everything you need . Superb location, we didn’t need the car we could walk everywhere. The dogs loved the cottage and the daily walks. Natasha provided loads of local information on things to do, where to eat etc Thank you for letting us stay , and for the welcome pack.we will definitely try to book again .

Lovely home from home cottage. We stayed with a toddler and he loved it. The host helpfully provided a cot and high chair. The cottage is close to local amenities. Lots to visit on the island.

What a lovely place this is. Clean, comfy and has great views. Jasmine was quick to reply if we needed any assistance and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nicole’s place was ideal for a spring break, property was fantastic 5 minute walk into the village, and 5 minutes walk into the magnificent forest to walk the dog in the morning. Highly recommend gardeners retreat. Ideal to get away and relax yet have enough on your doorstep to keep you entertained.

Fabulous cottage. Lots of space and well equipped. Walk straight onto the forest was amazing.

A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

Thank you Kate for a glorious weekend stay for our babymoon. It was the perfect setting, very relaxing and beautiful with loads to do in the surrounding area, topped off by some stellar sunshine this weekend!

This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. Lyn is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is absolutely superb and the setting is very peaceful .

We really enjoyed our time in Sway and would recommend this as a great apartment and location to stay in. Communication before, during and after our stay was great, with the hosts answering any questions that we had. The accommodation was spotless throughout and was really well furnished. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the area.

A perfect peaceful country cottage. Lots of nearby walks with the dog and a gorgeous church in Freshwater for Christmas Day morning. The cottage is easy to find and so peaceful. Gorgeous country views from upstairs and a quiet enclosed garden. Bedrooms are plenty big enough with gorgeous white bed linen. The living space is generous with a cosy snug set around a log burner which we loved each evening. The stand out for us was the fabulous kitchen which made cooking Christmas dinner a delight this year. Two bathrooms, each with an excellent shower and good central heating. I would say you probably need to have a car if you’re staying here although there are buses to Newport. I genuinely can’t think of a negative!
