A great getaway! Everything was as described and it was a nice retreat -- I even extended my stay an extra day. The ocean views were lovely, and my dog and I especially enjoyed the easy hiking trail just a few feet up the street. The back patio was private a nice spot to relax and watch the sunset. One heads up for those sensitive to sound: The freeway noise does carry up the hill (throughout Summerland), especially during rush hours. It’s a steady background sound rather than something disruptive, and inside with the doors and windows closed, it wasn’t an issue at all. Just something to be aware of if you're expecting total silence outdoors.

Adored our time at Caravan Outpost! The instructions for everything were super clear and we were comfortable and happy throughout our visit. Check in and check out were a breeze. The space is walkable to restaurants, shops and more. It's also right next to a fun brewery! Definitely recommended.

My husband, dog, and I enjoyed our staycation at Jamie’s cottage! The neighborhood was very quiet, check-in was easy, and there was always parking in front of the house. There are also some walkable restaurants/coffee shops, and it’s a very quick drive to downtown Ventura. We would absolutely stay here again!

Meredith and David were wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their tiny home! The home is super cozy and had everything we needed. Communication was great and the hosts were always very responsive.

amazing spot! carol, doc, and the super hounds were such gracious hosts, and it was amazing to spend some time relaxing outside of the city. the tiny home is very close to a river/swimming hole, which makes for a great morning walk. the super hounds were especially awesome, and all of them greeted us upon entry. they are such gentle, protective animals; and they made sure to secure the perimeter of the property every time we stepped outside. the home is surprisingly accommodating, with an amply equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. the TV setup was cleverly designed as well, so that it could be viewed comfortably from the living room or the bedroom. carol and doc made great use of the space, and it never felt cramped. overall, our stay was absolutely lovely, and I couldn't recommend this spot more.

We had the most amazing spontaneous weekend getaway at this beautiful Airbnb! My wife and I were looking for a peaceful retreat, and this place was exactly what we needed. From the moment we booked, Ebru was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was cozy, inviting, and the perfect place to unwind. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed us to truly disconnect and recharge. The surrounding nature was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning hiking trails right nearby. We spent our days exploring the area, taking in the fresh air, and enjoying the beauty of the landscapes. Our evenings were spent playing the plethora of provided board games, hanging out next to the fireplace, and some late night stargazing. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay. We were out here as insurance adjusters working the fires in Malibu and this place was great to call home.

We arrived at night after a long day driving back from Big Sur, so we didn’t get a chance to fully take in the property during daylight. But the moment we walked in, it felt so comfortable and homey. Even though we arrived late, our host, Amy, was fantastic—everything was open and welcoming. The space felt effortless yet intentional, like stepping into a dream of mine because I’ve always wanted to own a tiny house like this. Amy executed the design beautifully—classy, high-touch, and minimal without feeling bare. The space is well thought out, making it feel open and functional. Easily, the 2 of us enjoyed the stay comfortably. In the morning, the first thing my partner said was, “Look at the lemon tree.” And when I opened my eyes, I was greeted by trees, lemons, and even hummingbirds. It was incredible. The outdoor patio and deck were perfect for relaxing (though we didn’t get to enjoy it fully), and on our last morning, we walked the farm, which felt like a little piece of heaven.

This was a perfect retreat for my wife and I to escape the reality of raising kids and reconnect. A beautiful relaxing environment.

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities. We're already talking about going back next year. THANK YOU, MARY, for your hospitality and the opportunity for us to have a wonderful vacation!!

Perfect little cottage on a beautiful avocado orchard. Our home away from home. Downtown Carpinteria was a quick & easy drive away to enjoy our day/evening. Nice to come home to our comfy place after a day away! Thank you Hannah & Tessa for being great host. Sure to see you again soon!

The cabin was so beautiful inside and cozy! Everything was stocked, we felt super taken care of and very comfortable. Joy was so helpful and communicative, she went above and beyond, made sure we had everything we needed and more! We loved our stay, thank you Joy!!

We loved our stay during the long weekend! The studio is exactly as advertised. Super clean, extremely soft bed, and beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean. Easy check-in and great communication. Perfect amenities for us, including coffee and cold drinks in the fridge. We slept with the windows open to enjoy the cool ocean air and wake up to the birds chirping. Managing the driveway was no issue for us during the day or after dark. Super close to Malibu Brewing Company, which we love! Only an hour from Ventura for our trip to Channel Islands, which had spots not nearly as beautiful for the same price or much more! Wonderful stay from start to finish. Would definitely stay again!

The castle was so cool! We checked in kinda late the first night so it was absolutely stunning to wake up and see the view of the valley. Felt like we were in a dream.

We had a delightful time staying at Stacees place! It was very clean, TONs of amenities, even if your forgot a toothbrush there was extra (brand new of course)! The tv swivel was perfect to watch on the couch and the bed. I personally love old Chatsworth and being back in the canyon. The People living on the property were very kind and good to talk too. There dog was supper cute to 😊. Overall a great experience and am interested booking again !

Wonderful fires, star gazing, beds are so comforting and great vibe. Definitely will return. Hiking was amazing! Town is so cute, had coffees and chilled. Super amazing!!

Such a lovely place to stay in the mountains, close to the beach, food options, and a lot of different hiking trails! The location was great and it was such a nice guesthouse as well, with everything needed for some time away!!
