Grazie Marco for an exceptional stay in Orta San Giulio! This was one of the best experiences (from Airbnb or even hotels) we’ve had. Marco was incredibly responsive and communicative, and very kind. He picked us up from Malpensa airport, and even drove us to Milano after our stay. We were travelling with our toddler and Marco very kindly coordinated with the child car seat rental provider to have the seat ready for us. The apartment is in a quiet area that is super close to the piazza. Upon arrival, Marco provided water, local beers, and local biscuits that were delicious. The apartment was incredibly clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need, and the coffee was great! Details like the lovely bath products and slippers, really made our stay stand out, as well as Marco’s hospitality. We would absolutely recommend Marco’s place for your stay in Orta. We would love to come back and stay in Marco’s other property! Grazie mille!

Tolles Haus, dass den Beschreibungen voll entsprach. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage in den Bergen ist traumhaft mehrstündige Wanderungen sind vom Haus aus möglich. Janine ist vor Ort die Ansprechpartnerin und steht (deutschsprachig) mit Rat zur Seite. Sehr schön ist auch der Brötchenservice den Janine bei Bedarf vermittelt.

Jolie maison pittoresque sur les hauteurs de la ville avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes environnantes, située dans un quartier italien typique et charmant et également au bord de la nature. Elle est également très bien située pour visiter les lacs Majeur et d’Orta. La maison est certes ancienne mais dispose de tout le confort moderne. Ce logement est réservé aux personnes en bonne forme physique puisqu’après avoir gravi une petite pente pour y accéder, il reste encore des marches à monter !!! Cristina est très serviable, de bon conseil et réactive. C’est une adresse que nous recommandons vivement.

Die Wohnung ist geräumig, perfekt sauber und man hat alles, was man braucht und von der Terrasse aus hat man eine fantastische Aussicht auf den See und die drei Inseln. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Séjour calme et reposant. La communication était facile et efficace. Accessible en train, à 10-15 minutes à pied de la gare. Merci pour tout :)

Das Haus ist fantastisch. Mit 3 Hunden waren wir dort und der Garten ist riesen gross. Alles eingezäunt und wir hatten perfekte Ruhe in der Nähe des sees. Roberta ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sie ist extrem hilfsbereit, zuvorkommenden und überaus freundlich! Wir freuen uns sehr wenn wir wieder zu ihr gehen dürfen. Wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Wie schon beim ersten Mal fühlten wir uns vom ersten Augenblick an wie zuhause. Jonas hat für alles gesorgt: Die Heizung war angestellt, Pasta und Tomatensauce für ein erstes Nachtessen bereitgestellt und sogar eine Flasche seines eigenen Weissweines stand im Kühlschrank! Wir unternahmen Ausflüge an den Luganersee oder ins nahe Italien. Am Abend haben wir meistens in einem der drei Restaurants gegessen. Sie sind in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen, alle empfehlenswert, das Auto kann stehen bleiben und wir konnten ohne schlechtes Gewissen einen Tessiner Wein geniessen, salute! Wir haben auch „zuhause“ gekocht. Die Küche ist super eingerichtet und die Zutaten für ein feines Essen sind im Dorfladen erhältlich! Nicht vergessen, sich vor oder nach dem Einkauf einen Cappuccino oder einen Apéro in der Bar vis à vis zu gönnen. Es ergeben sich immer interessante Gespräche mit den anderen Gästen. Sessa ist nach wie vor ein intaktes Tessiner Dorf und eine Reise wert!

Great location, beautiful spacious apartment . Very clean and tidy . Included everything we needed. Shop adjacent so stocking up was easy. Lots of instructions and leaflets in the apartment re how to get around , plus local restaurants etc. Pieranna checked with us to see if we were ok and had everything we needed . Would highly recommend.

L'appartement correspondait à notre attente, nous avons passé un séjour agréable.

Le logement était parfait comme indiqué sur l'annonce, Paola nous a bien reçu elle est très sympathique et toujours souriante. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l'endroit est bien situé pour accéder et visiter les différents lacs de la région .

We had a wonderful time at Maria Luisa's place. The apartment had everything we needed, and the setting was absolutely stunning. The open kitchen was perfect for rustling up a quick dinner while staying part of the conversation. Although the view was hidden by fog at first, it cleared to reveal the full beauty of Lago Maggiore - an unforgettable sight! Maria Luisa was very helpful and responsive, making our family break even more enjoyable. Thank you for a great stay!

Mirella è stata sempre disponibile e attenta ,la casa è bellissima ed era come descritta nei requisiti . Il posto è incantevole e la vista sul lago lascia senza fiato . Un paradiso, in un punto ottimo, circondano da ogni tipo di comodità. Lo consiglio

We had an amazing stay during the christmas/new year period. The house is stunning, a beautiful designed house with anything you need for your holiday. The house was clean, the view on the lake is gorgeous and the location was also perfect. Ispra is a cosy, small little italian village on the lago maggiore and we had trips to Milan and also to the mountains for some skiing. Overal a great stay at Judith’s place. She was also very helpful if you have any questions and she responds very quick I absolutely recommend her house to anyone willing to visit the beautiful Lago Thank you Judith!

Una delle nostre migliori esperienze in assoluto! Tutto al top: accoglienza e comunicazione con Eleonora, arredamento e funzionalità dell'appartamento (attrezzatissimo!), ubicazione a pochi passi dal centro e da posti di parcheggio senza pagamento. Consigliatissimo!

Super Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin. Alessandra ist sehr freundlich und hat auch immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Mehrfamilienhaus in einer ruhigen Lage, nicht weit vom Zentrum und es war sauber. Sie hat eine schöne kleine Terrasse. Leider war es noch zu kalt um draußen zu sitzen - so schade. Ansonsten die Heizung in der kalten Jahreszeit läuft über die Klimaanlage, was anfangs etwas ungewohnt für uns war bis wir die optimale Temperatur gefunden hatten. Rundum haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

The condo is located about ten minutes drive up the mountain from Stresa. For us (family of four; kids ages: 9 and 13), this was the perfect distance. It is more peaceful in Levo and cooler because of the added elevation. The space itself was very practical, comfortable and convenient. The view from the balcony is absolutely spectacular. Michela is a terrific host! She was very easy to communicate with (we speak English) and really helpful and accomodating. She also gave really good restaurant recommendations.

Giovanni a été très réactif et fournit des instructions claires et détaillées concernant la prise autonome du logement. Super appartement d'une propreté impeccable, tout le nécessaire à disposition, petit balcon, calme. Le parking est à deux minutes à pieds. Parfait !

What a superb spacious apartment, fitted to a very good standard , the welcome drinks and bread were most appreciated The view from the terrace was amazing and the location was perfect, 5 to 10 minute walk to the supermarket,restaurant,shops and the ferry crossings. Verbania itself was lovely, quieter than Stessa but still had a good vibe. Isola Bella and Superiore were our favourite islands with restaurants bars and shops, whereas on Isola Madri you had to pay for the entrance to the palace and gardens and there was nothing else to do if you didn’t. The Saturday market which you could see from the apartment, was worth going to. Fiorella was an outstanding host and looked after all our needs. Would love to visit again.

Der richtige Ort zum Abschalten, absolut empfehlenswert! Es gibt alles was man braucht und Alessandro und seine Frau waren stets erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit.

I loved it!!! Everything was spic and span! Wonderful quiet and sunny. I spent hours on the terrace enjoying the view. Sunsets are amazing. The grocery store, the train station, the gelateria, bars and restaurants are in walking distance. Lots to see in the area, it definitely helps though to have a car. There is plenty of hiking trails in the area, but again it helps to have a car to get to the start of the many trails. Tipically for italian houses, the floor has tiles which are cold. Which is perfect in summer, but during the cooler months, you might want to bring warm slippers, especially if you suffer from cold feet like I do :). Dennis and Mauro are such nice people. I highly recommend to stay at their house. Carissimi Dennis e Mauro é stato un grande piacere conoscervi. Vi auguro tutto il bene e spero che un giorno riesca a tornare nella vostra bellissima casa! First of all, I’d like to thank Mavi, host extraordinaire! Mavi gave us lots of information about Stresa and Lake Maggiore, places to go to and places to eat and shop. The apartment is really lovely and spacious and the view of the mountains and the lake is wonderful. We spent a week there and we could have stayed much longer. Highly recommended!
