We loved our stay. Very peaceful and homely. Slighty musty smell. We had an issue which was quickly dealt with. We recommend this place. We really relaxed here

We had a really great time at Schalk's home under the amazing Milkwood trees. The outside area is even bigger than it looks in the pictures and it has a very nice braai area, pizza oven and fire pit to enjoy. The house makes you feel like you're away in the bush but you also have the ocean a 100 meters away. There is a balcony upstairs where we had our breakfasts daily which looks onto the ocean through the trees. Lovely to hear the ocean in the evening whilst sleeping. We would definitely recommend it.

The perfect getaway for family or friends! The house looked exactly like the photos and had all the necessary amenities. It was spotless, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location is great, with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the information pack was so helpful. Great place to stay near the best beaches in Hermanus with easy access to the Fernkloof nature reserve. The house and garden were nice and tranquil and Lydia is a very kind and communicative host.

Sue’s place was an absolute dream. It was as clean as a pin, was cosy and welcoming and the garden and courtyard were a hit with the kids. Sue’s communication was outstanding and we are very thankful for the lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Stayed here with my parents and brother for a couple of days as part of a trip to celebrate my dad’s 80th. The setting was beautiful and very peaceful - easy walk to the beach - and the house was extremely cosy with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were great - very communicative without interfering :) I’d love to stay again one day!

We have been fortunate to stay in some of the best hotels in the world and we must say that Tulani house was nothing short of spectacular. It felt like our home away from home. The level of care and detail put into everything was amazing. From Maison Margiela candles, to Haus and Weyland interior decor - no cost was spared. The gardens were thoughtfully landscaped and kept immaculate. Special mention of the wooden deck overseeing the mountains with a hot tub. We will definitely be back soon!

What a gem!! Well equipped, large and comfortable home in an excellent location. We had everything we needed and the host and co-hosts were just brilliant. There was only one item missing from the listing that we needed, but as soon as we let the co hosts know, the issue was rectified and had no impact on our stay. Prieur is a great host, very helpful and responsive. The accommodation is very clean and set within their own grounds with everything you need for a short break. Parking on site which is very secure and private and a 3 min stroll to the most beautiful clean beach with fantastic surfing waves. In the evening we walked to Lizettes restaurant which we highly recommend. Hermanus is a very beautiful area with a relaxing and welcoming feel. Thank you for a fantastic stay Prieur. 5*

What a wonderful place. Everything you need, extremely clean, comfortable, private and quiet⭐️ Elmarie is attentive to the small things that makes such a difference! Lovely rusks, coffee, milk AND two Kitkat chocolates in the fridge on a very hot day👍🏻 Will definitely stay here again. We travel all over and this place gets a definite 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hanlie's place was an amazing place to stay. I had never stayed at a cleaner Airbnb before until now. Hanlie was always on hand if I needed any help, she recommended a lot of restaurants/things to do. Plenty of immenties, change of bedsheets and towels for longer stays much better than hotels. Hanlie and her husband were great listeners and we had good conversions. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay again. 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Roderick's cottage! The Hottub and the grill really made it a special place for relaxed evenings :) Roderick always kept us updated on the latest sightings of dolphins nearby which was super nice of him. Would recommend 100%

This is a great property in a good location.The property is secure nicely furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing stay including an out door pool.Our hosts Maggie and Marius were very welcoming and informative and quickly sorted out any problems we had in particular the problem we had with the alarm. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely accommodation. It's modern and has all the appliances/conveniences one could need. The sea AND mountain views are breathtaking! Liezl was so helpful, my husband was ill with a stomach bug one night and she kindly gave us some medication to help us out until we could get to a pharmacy the next day. The accommodation is peaceful and conveniently located for the Hermanus Cliff Walk, various beaches and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Der Aufenthalt bei Hannes war sehr schön. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ebenfalls das Badezimmer. Die Aussicht mit dem schönen Pool hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Hannes gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Firstly, Lorraine was a terrific host, her communication excellent, her thoughtfulness about warning us about impending load shedding and helpfulness with finding and sending items we left behind. Secondly the cabin was exactly as expected and advertised. It was cosy, very comfortable and slightly quirky. Exactly what we hoped. The outdoor living spaces are absolutely fantastic.

Wir waren zu zweit, leider nur für eine Nacht hier aber es hat uns sofort sehr gut gefallen. Thera spricht perfekt Deutsch und hat uns ihr kleines tiny Haus persönlich vorgestellt. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den schönen Garten. Ein großer Gasgrill war ebenfalls auf der Terrasse. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir auf alle Fälle bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt hier wieder übernachten werden. Vielen Dank, Thera und bis baldeinmal.

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!

From booking to checking out this was a pleasure. Mike was informative and communicative. But best of all was the delightful accommodation- so fresh and light, elegant in its stylish simplicity with attention to detail. The kingsize bed was very comfortable, the little open plan kitchen was all we needed, the shower pressure was great and the pops of colour happy-making. We were in Stanford for a wedding weekend and it was a perfect stay over, place to get ready and a welcome ‘home’ to return to in the early morning hours! Just wish we had given ourselves more time to enjoy the mini-courtyard! Bird’s Nest Cottage will definitely be our go-to place next time in Stanford.

This is the perfect cabin for a small family who love nature and want to explore vibrant Hermanus nearby. Selah Holiday Cabin II is a stylish, well-thought out and comfortable small home nestled in a private nature reserve. The estate offers access to a lagoon, beach, tennis courts and pool - perfect for a young, active family. If you're lucky, you may even spot the majestic wild horses that wander along this stretch of coastline. The living space feels bigger than it looks in pictures. It has everything we needed - a practical kitchen, a table to eat at, and a comfy couch. Our son loved the novelty of crawling around the upstairs bedroom. Finding a cupboard with games and books was a lovely surprise. We love that the cabin is a short drive from Hermanus. It means we could easily explore the bustling Hermanus in the morning and then head back to the estate for a relaxing afternoon. We look forward to coming back!
