Stunning house, incredible host and support when needed. Had a door sticking on arrival, and Hanel had a locksmith around within 30 minutes to fix it and make our stay more comfortable. The location is great, beach across the road is stunning for swimming. We really enjoyed our time in Gordons Bay and this beautiful home.

We had a lovely family stay. The whales were out in full glory very lucky to see them. The house had everything we needed.

This is a magical cabin in the bettys Bay area, close to one of the most beautiful, uncrowded, and peaceful beaches in the western cape. The cabin reminds me of a cozy castle getaway perfect for family's and friends looking to escape the busy city life

The location is great, with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the information pack was so helpful. Our family had such a wonderful time at Dominique's place. The decor is fantastic and the combination of the living room with the kitchen, and the deck with the view was amazing. We've spent most of our time cooking and enjoying our vacation on the deck and in the kitchen. The layout of the house worked great with our young daughter. Everything was clean and in place. Didn't have to search for anything. Walkable distance to the beach and the ocean trail. Restaurant close by and everything one needs in a relative small town! Would definitely recommend this house for its location, layout, decor, friendly host and all the amenities you need. Thank you so much Dominique that we could have enjoyed a little bit of your heavenly place.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. Set part way up the mountain's base, this gem has a lovely view of the ocean, an oblique view of Table Mountain, and is wonderfully tranquil. Their quaint garden is so pretty and the verandah is splendid for a braai (barbeque), sunset, or enjoying the breeze. The shower/bath was pleasant (good pressure and temperature control), and everything was clean. The bed and bedding were very comfortable (firm, but giving mattress, 100% cotton). The kitchen is well stocked to your cooking needs (bar an oven), and we were treated to some lovely things (which may have been courtesy of our anniversary). As for the hosts, they are spectacular! Friendly, helpful, engaging, responsive, and kind. They really added such a special element to our stay (though they were not in the least intrusive). I would most certainly recommend staying here. Go for the coastal drive, hike the mountains, explore the beaches, Steenbras dam and local eateries.

Shout out to Anmarie views to die for from the balcony and would recommend staying here. It's just 5 mins walk to the harbour for the cage diving which we came for at the White Shark Diving Company and 10 mins drive to Gainsbaai places. Recommend Klipgap Caves and coffee or tipple stop at Coffee On The Rocks.

Great stay! Be warned there are a ton of stairs to walk down to get to the room, but once you are there the views and room are absolutely stunning. Far from Cape Town but great peace and quiet in the area

Gideon & Jayne helped me out when my in-laws were mis-treated at another place, they helped us out and the unit was available within an hour of the enquiry/booking. Was as per the descriptions and photos, neat and clean. Close to Dutchies and Grotto beach for lovely lunches and walks on the beach. Lyn & Peter thoroughly enjoyed there stay with you, thank you!

My friend and I attended a line dance event in Gansbaai so we did not have much time to spend at the apartment itself. However it was a lovely place to stay and super surroundings. I will definitely book the apartment again for a break away stay in the near future. We felt very safe, the apartment was super clean and very comfortable. There was a problem with the WC Accentrix system in getting into the building as the code did not work but it was sorted immediately by L and very helpful indeed and followed up to make sure we were sorted. The only problem we had was the lift was out of order and we had to lug our luggage and gear up to the third floor a few times. Certainly got a good workout. We also must mention that this problem was not something our host could forsee and it was just one of those things that happen and not something they can control. I can highly recommend L's place and thank you for a lovely stay.

Wir waren insgesamt 12 Tage bei Charlene zu Gast. Wir konnten früher einchecken was sehr angenehm war. Beim Check-In wurden wir gleich herzlich von Charlene begrüßt. Sie hat uns kurz alles gezeigt und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Man hört immer die Wellen vom mehr und kann schön draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Die Privatsphäre wurde sehr gewahrt. Man hat nicht gemerkt das die Gastgeber auf dem selben Grundstück leben. Wir haben nach der Hälfte der Zeit eine Reinigung bekommen mit frischen Handtüchern. Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und haben uns auch bei einem kleinen medizinischen Notfall direkt geholfen. Die Gegend ist wirklich sehr sicher. Wir haben uns nie unwohl gefühlt. Nicht weit in Hermanus hat man alles man braucht an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für Weinliebhaber ist es auch sehr angenehm mit den Weinhoppers oder auch einem Shuttle kann man die nahegelegenen Weingüter besuchen und genießen.

Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft in Hermanus, einem wundervollen und pittoresken Städtchen, das so viel zu bieten hat. Würde die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, insbesondere bei dem herzlichen Empfang der zahlreichen und sehr süßen Vierbeiner.

Like other guests said : the view is amazing ! We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful place, large living room and kitchen with all you need, comfortable bed in the bed room. Large window in the living room so you can enjoy the view and the sea breeze. Like a beach bungalow actually. From here you can walk to the beach, you are also close to everything (with a car) , crystal pools trail, betty's bay pingouins, ... The place is safe and quiet and you get a car parking space just in front of the appartment. Wieneke is a very kind person, she will make you comfortable and give you privacy. Thank you !

Great apartment and very central, we rarely used our car as there are so many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. Would surely recommend this apartment.

Wish we could have stayed forever! We loved this Airbnb, it may be the best ever stayed in! The house and location are stunning. The host was welcoming and helpful. There were many useful extras like clothes and dish washing pods and soaps in the bathroom. Very useful after a long journey. We can’t wait to return!
